My first time at Dunn's. The Smoked Meat was amazing, poutine lacked cheese. Service, not so much. Coming every 2 minutes to see if we were ready to order. I got annoyed by the waitress and took the same thing as my boyfriend. Also she asked if we wanted Swiss cheese on our sandwich (I dident think for one second that there was an extra cost, I thought to myself just incase someone is intolerant to lactose).... 2$ extra for 1 slice of swiss cheese without being informed. It was really disappointing.

Coleslaw nice and my time well done not too tangy like other place. Good fry cooking. Super friendly waitresses and waiters. Choice of lean beer 2 or 3 lines from excellent local microbreweries. I go back for sure! It's so good ! Good work! P.s. Alain Turgeon's opinion is in the field ... The place is not like it used to be it's super clean the floor was "nickel" ... In the middle of winter then ... Breathe Alain! Et tout cela pour 1.50 $. Je ne crois pas les visiter à nouveau pour une question de vinaigrette à 1.50 $ Malgré tout ils ne nous ont pas fait payer pour cette extra. Very disappointing meal. We ordered two smoked meat specials and both sandwiches were missing an entire slice of rye bread and impossible to eat. Considering the high price point $20 for each meal, we expected more. Especially since Reuben's offers the same special for $15 and twice as much more food. Also ordered the potato skins and got a full baked potato served instead, which was clearly made hours in advance and simply reheated. Coleslaw was old and soggy. We expected more from the famous Dunn's. Took picture for proof, but no option to attach to this review.

Location: On the north shore. Parking available though on the small side and often busy. The place: It's not an overly large space but you're not stuck to your neighbours. Decor is simple, the place is clean. The goods: Obviously, you come here for the smoked meat, though they have other options on their menu. I ordered their small combo which is a pretty decent-sized portion of fries, one sandwich and I think coleslaw. The smoked meat was great but had some fat on it so if you don't like any fat, order lean (I ordered medium but it's what I normally order at other places but there' not usually any fat) - the fries were crispy and not greasy at all. Service: Good Price point: $17 for a sandwich and fries seems a little high for these parts.
