Wonderful little place! The atmosphere is so unique and cozy. The staff are pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. The food was incredible! I had the turkey rancher sandwich, and the bread was heaven! All the veggies were fresh, and the sandwich was warm and the cheese was melty and delicious. The store/shop part of the store is very pleasant, with variety of natural and local products that are well displayed and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back to this wonderful hole in the wall deli!

This place is incredible!!! The inside was built by hand by the friendly proprietor, Levi. Attention to detail will blow you away. There are even pressed flowers set into the windows ???? Drip coffee was perfect, Rose Deli sandwich was on point. Will definitely be back here a lot. Lots of hippy dippy baked goods and amazing-smelking bread. Down to earth and amazingly funky ???? There is a natural goods store attached, where I purchased vegetable seeds, shampoo, and natural toner. Check them out!

This place is unique as it is healthy, comfortable, warm, quiet and cozy. It's hard to describe but the clean wooden interior gives off a warm feeling and it smells so nice inside almost as if you are transported to another place and time while you are there. Quiet and calming with a selective menu of sandwiches salads etc. Check out the small store inside and take home some fresh baked goods from spelt loaves to muffins & cookies. Try out their extensive Yerba Mate drinks! (Cold or hot it's tasty yet healthy) If you are tired of fast food this is a good place to try and change that or give the body and soul some rest.

Let's start with parking, it's available although the actual place you park need some much needed attention. Even a few yards of gravel would go a long way. The location itself is decorated in what can best be described as hippy-esque. The waiters are friendly and helpful. I couldn't tell if they just happened to all dress the same or of it was the uniform. As for the food, well, it was tasty. It was nice that they serve Mate. A neat place, but not for everyone.

Beautiful restaurant interior, this restaurant is located in st boniface. We tried a number of dishes. The turkey sandwich, vegan sandwich and the lamb. My favorite was the vegan. My friend requests extra sauce since it can be a little dry. I found my lamb was a bit heavier on the sauce though. The flavor was very good. I liked for they sliced the cucumber so that it gets to every part of the sandwich. Bread quality was excellent. The turkey sandwich was good but rather Standard. Carrot cake was fine. Not my favorite as it was a touch too sweet, but for those who like extra sweet this might be perfect. Service was friendly. They chatted with us as opposed to just serving. Happy they are in my neighborhood and would love to return to try more items off the menu I saw a banana milk, though they seemed to make it sound like a smoothie/milkshake. Parking is available in a lot behind the building or on the street in the front.

What a fantastic little organics restaurant + small whole foods shop! The staff are absolutely wonderful and extremely kind! Love everything about the environment, the little old times cottage/village feel to the place makes it so unique and authentic! The menu is so fun and cute as well, love that its hand drawn with fun doodles! The booths are one of my favourite parts of the whole place because they're all different and detailed so well! Not to mention the food is to die for, I had the homemade veggie burger and in all honesty it's one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had! Everything on the menu is also reasonably priced and they also have one of the best brewed coffees in the whole city! 11/10 I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to eat somewhere different! ????

The one thing that I would say needs improvement is the fact that I brought my 6 month old child to the restaurant and the waiter spanked my child for crying? I was so confused because I thought the word of God included protecting the health and safety of children. Anyways, if you have a soul this might not be the place for you. But if you believe in mentally, physically, and emotionally abusing children and like a good sandwich, this is definitely the place for you!

The first and only visit to Yellow Deli was a pleasant one, until I did a little digging. The food was good, the staff was friendly but there is dark side to the organization. The Yellow Deli is a fund raising entity for a Religious cult that that abuses children and the women within the organization. Do some research and determine if you are willing to support a group (the twelve tribes are across the world) that has corporal punishment as a core value and an interpretation of the bible that is reminiscent of Jone’s Town, Guyana.

There are exactly zero other restaurants in Winnipeg with this level of character on the inside. The people serving here are all part of the same religious community, but won't ever bring it up unless you do. Food is as fresh as it gets, and the veggie burger is actually delicious (and I'm basically a registered carnivore). Lots of meaty fare as well. I've never had a bad meal here.
