Sad excuse for a burrito. Ordered a fish burrito, and they were out of fish. Settled for a veggie burrito for same price, except they skimped out on the veggies. Asked for more guac, and was told it would cost extra. Burrito was half the size of any other burrito anywhere else. Bunch of cheapskates. The girl who served me was wearing a Subway shirt. One employee working both restaurants? Waste of money. Pathetic.

My favorite place to grab a burrito bowl in the city. Always tasty and fresh ingredients. Also shout out to (not sure if he is the manager) but he has a beard and he's the most polite guy ever and goes above and beyond to make your meal enjoyable.

Went to grab lunch. Thought they open at 11, according to the sign on the door. They start serving at 10:30. The serving staff seemed a bit unsure in preparing our order. None the less, we have our food prepared to our liking.

This does not deserve a one star! I couldn't believe the disaster. Ankush, packaged an enchilada platter, burrito platter, 2 sides,2 drinks, all in one flimsy plastic bag! As for the food...it was an unpleasant sight. It was thrown together like slop. The beans were just sad. The rice was not as it claimed. They got my order wrong, the fillings in the enchilada was incorrect. The sauces were wrong. Pretty much all of it. I couldn't eat it.. not only for laziness in ruining the food by packaging, but in the disregard to take pride in what goes out your kitchen door! I'm waiting for a call! I very rarely will write a review...however, this place was a HUGE disappointment! Franchise owners need to meet the standards they signed up for!

It's similar to the restaurant it's attached to, in that you get to build your taco or burrito step by step and pick all the ingredients. They have a wide selection of ingredients and you can enjoy your food with a Corona or Bud.

I consistently get the BEST service here. I never expect it because it's a fast food joint, but all of the staff I've dealt with have been so kind, eager to please, and generous with their burrito fixin's. Food is great for fast food Mexican, vegan options are aplenty. I always leave a hefty tip because they always deserve it!!

The restaurant is testing new menu with brown rice! Havent heard any restaurant serving organic brown rice before. Got a chance to test the recipe and was excellent choice and option! Will come back and will have the brown rice from now on!

Taco salads barely had any vegetables. The salad is so wet the tortilla bowl gets soggy really fast. I ordered salad for something fresh. This salad is not fresh. The shredded beef was well seasoned.

This is the place to go if nothing else is near or open and you really want something cheap to fill you up. The food is fairly bland (and tastes nothing like Mexican), but they serve up sizable portions. It gets an extra star because the service here is great - even for a large chain.

Great food as always, love taco del Mar, the only reason this review is a 4 is because the girl working there seemed annoyed that we'd come in, almost two hours before close, and they ran out of guac which she refused to make a fresh batch of.

I asked for a shrimp burrito and women behind counter had no idea what I meant. First she wanted to give me a taco then she tried giving me some sort of pita. After repeating I wanted a burrito she still had no idea what I meant. If they can't hire somebody that understands what the hell they are selling then they are not worth going there.

MAJOR RIP OFF. Never order a Baja Salad from here. You will get a tiny pinch of lettuce, and a massive dump of watery salsa all over it. Even if you have sodium restrictions and ask for salsa on the side, this location does not care to accomadate that. Lack of attention to customer's needs. Also once purchased tacos and was 99% sure they were refridgerated beforehand as the foil was EXTREMELY ice cold and the shells were very soggy. Don't know what's going on here, but there's a lot wrong with this place.

I ordered food for the first time from Taco Del Mar on St. Mary's Rd. on Friday evening, Jan 08, 2021; this is not authentic Mexican food. This food was not made by people who are supposed to know what they're doing. I ordered a Enchiladas Platter which was bland, amount $ 14.97. I ordered 3 different Soft Flour Tacos with ground beef, Alaskan white fish & Chicken amount $ 9.49, they were all gross and the soft four tacos were all soggy/wet which I knew the wraps weren't warmed up first before placing the fillings. The fish, chicken & beef were all cold; no flavor at all. I also ordered a regular Alaskan White Fish Baja Burrito the price $ 9.99; this Burrito was the worse of all I had ordered; they put cold potatoes in the burrito which I've never heard of before; the potatoes tasted like they were used for over two days; Nil was fresh; I didn't even get my lime on the side either. I called the Taco Del Mar and explained to a female who answered the phone that this is the worse Mexican food I've ever ordered and I am throwing all in the garbage. She said the reason the Tacos were wet is because of the sour cream; I stated back to her all authentic Mexican restaurants or other fast food places always put the Salsa, Sour cream in another container for this reason; so it doesn't get WET. She told me that the manager wasn't in and that he would call me today; I still haven't received a call. If you want authentic Mexican food do not order from Taco Del Mar. I told the female who answered the phone that if I did not receive a call from the manager that I am going to place a review explaining the Junk I received which I threw in the garbage. I had no problem with Uber delivery they are not the cooks; this company should be ashamed of themselves as I spent enough money for the most Horrible food I've ever tasted. I used to buy quite a lot of the Baja fish burritos and tacos, but they raised their prices in 2020 and cut back on the ingredients. Good customer service, but too expensive.

Avoid due to covid 19. Went there tonight November 8 2020 at 5:05 pm and the girl making the tacos for skip was wearing her mask around her chin. The other employee was walking around the restaurant area with no mask at all.

I ordered Nachos from this place. The taste was filthy the nachos were not fresh at all. The toppings and beans were kept outside for long time. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who really wants to try a mexcian food rather go to Qdoba if you really want to eat good and tasty food. There is not a way to give 0 star on review otherwise I would rate that as thats what they deserve!

I went there with a few other people on Christmas eve, and the man who prepared our food was absolutely amazing in all aspects of food service. He prepared the food quickly without compromising on the quality. He was also very courteous and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a fast food employee. It was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend the restaurant for both the food and the great service.
