We were missed when we entered the restaurant, but it was very busy, so understandable. Otherwise, our waiter accomodated our very late friend despite the busyness, and served us quickly and kept our water full. The food was good and portion sizes are fantastic.

I love Stella's but last night's visit was not good. Went for dessert. Ordered chocolate torte. Was informed they were out of raspberry sauce. Did we want cherry? Yes, my friend said. A few minutes later, "we're out of cherry, too." The tortes come. One small slice of, basically, chocolates cake. No icing to be seen. (The cake was moist and tasty.) All this for $7! And not once did the server ask to refill my coffee. I still give Stella's 5 stars because I go there a lot and it's normally very good. However, I doubt I'll go back to the Pembina location bc it's never been as good as the other locations.

Only things to look out for is that it's maybe not the place for pasta (the creamy pesto was the only weak dish our party ordered, and it was still good, just missing the creaminess and a bit oily). Was over charged and given the wrong order (which was actually the burger I absolutely did not want), unfortunately it was last order, called back in hopes of them fixing the mistake and no avail. Called the following day and was told to call back in the evening that there was nothing they can do.

We always go to Stellas to celebrate mothers day, birthdays, grads, etc. It’s a great place to bring family, and they are so accommodating for bigger groups. my only complaint is that they don’t take reservations past noon. Otherwise we always have excellent service, great food for many different diets (gluten free, vegetarian/vegan). The restaurant is very open with lots of natural light as well. Also reasonably priced!! One of my favourite restaurants in the city

Overall excellent staff who were very patient with elderly indecisive patrons. A nice casual ambience and a good range of options on the menu. A reservation is recommended if you want a particular table or a booth. Definitely merits a return visit to try something else on the menu. Portions are ample and you may end up taking some home. Prices are fair.

I was here with a friend for dinner. I got a pad thai and it was pretty decent. I appreciate the variety of the menus. From anyone wanting a healthy meal to a variety of other meals done right. The selectionnof non alcoholic drinks are also good as you are not stuck with water or soda for you can order smoothies.

I never ever left a restaurant without food. I had worst experience ever ,waited over an hour and still no sign of food. When I ask after waiting for an hour got the answer it may take another 5 to 10 mins ,after 20 I ask the server to get me bill he happily get me my bill. No sense of urgency or sensitive about time . I would never like to return to this horrible place.

Terrible and racist treating the peoples They kept us outside for two hours and pointed out that we only have one table for 7 people. When they guided us, we saw a large number of empty tables for four people that could be easily assembled for us and they did it for a group of whites who came later but didn't it for us.

Stellas is always good. First time on the roof top patio. My only complaint is the low table. Perhaps not an issue, but something to get used to instead.

Great atmosphere and lots to pick from on the menu. There are many great options for if you are vegan or vegetarian. The waitress was very helpful in ensuring what is wanted to order was 100% plant based. Food is always tastey, I would recommend breakfast or one of their soups. Also a good place to come with groups but I would recommend making a reservation first becuase it is usually very crowded. If you are interested in baked goods, they also have a bakery attached. The bakery has many breads and cakes, as well as their own jam. The only issue is parking. There is a parking lot behind the building but a lot of the time it is pretty full. There is some street parking if you don't mind parking on the street!

First of all, we LOVE Stella's. Our experience on Saturday was very disappointing though. As a treat to my hard-working daughter, I took her too her favourite place for a late breakfast/brunch at 10:30am. Our server brought us our lattes andtook our order. It was pretty busy, but I've been there during much busier times. After about 45 minutes of waiting and no offers or more coffee, drinks, etc. she very quickly informed us that there had been "a problem in the kitchen" and our meals would be a few more minutes. Again, no offers of more coffee and no updates on our meals (which were omlettes, byt the way, not requiring a whole lot of time). We received our meals at 12pm as the lunch crowd was arriving. People had been arriving, eating and leaving all around us. She quickly said sorry and took off. It was really disappointing.

The vegetarian mexican breakfast is one of my favorite things to eat. Everytime I go to a Stella's restaurant I think I'm going to try something new but I never do. One time my wife ordered something different and she was very sad watching me eat mine. I've seen many other people's plates that I would like to try and someday I may.

WARNING: My daughter was stuck in the washroom for roughly 40 minutes with no way out at Stella's on Pembina. We were also informed that this is the second time this incident has happened. The fire department came, and after my daughter got out, and received no apology. Management must do something about this. This is unacceptable. This is a safety concern. Do not wait for the little kids or seniors to be stuck there.

Best place to eat at the airport. Nice menu. Their Pembina location is also very good. Pleasant bright atmosphere, interesting menu and very good food. I had the Pepper Jelly, Chicken & Brie sandwich with squash soup which was excellent. We also had the Ratatouille dish which was also very good.

So disappointed after using their DoorDash service. The app failed and could not process the checkout. We called Stella’s to do a pickup instead and then after we got back home saw the order sitting on our doorstep. We were billed twice and have been refused a refund.

I am a big fan of Stella's but the Pembina location is a bit out of my way so I don't usually go there. To accommodate a friend I went there looking forward to introduce her to excellent food and friendly service. It was very disappointing......the food and the service both. There had been some issues at a previous visit but this one was a bit over the top. Two other visits were close to what I have come to expect from Stella's.......high quality food and service. I decided to edit my previous, much harsher version because the manager did everything in her power to make things better. She apologized profusely, told me that the personnel had been informed and instructed, gave me the money back for what I had been overcharged and threw in an additional gift card. She suggested that I give this location another chance and I believe I will. However, I have gained a completely new appreciation of my usual Stella's hangout for sure.

Despite many rave reviews I had never been to a Stella's before. We (2) decide to try the roof-top patio since, well, it sounded awesome. They told us there would be a 15-20 min wait or there were tables inside. We decided to wait and I'm really glad we did. After about 15 we were told there was a full sun table if we wanted. It was nice that they mentioned it before we went up because for some that could be an issue. The patio itself was really nice and had strings of lights which would be great in the evening. They were several umbrellas and it had a nice feel despite being on Pembina Hwy (it was the middle of the afternoon though). I had the Salmon Fillet Burger and an iced Baileys espresso beverage both of which were great and I would get again. I also tried the borscht which was, for me, mediocre. My guest had the Chicken Burger with an added egg and a booze coffee (jump starter or something) which he really enjoyed. The server was a bit absentee, but she did seem busy and had to constantly run up and down the stairs. She was really pleasant, however, and mentioned 'upsells' without being pushy. My only real complaint was that some of the tables upstairs are really close together which made us feel a little uncomfortable. Also the tables were low which made eating kind of awkward. All in all though will definitely go back!

Terrible. I ordered a gravlox sandwich with wedges through door dash. The "sandwich" was a tiny croissant with two slices of salmon, a small amount of cream cheese, and a wilted lettuce rib - which was the only things with any size. The croissant was barely bigger than a Pillsbury crescent. Wedges were ice cold, totally soggy and swimming in oil. Literally inedible and another extremely tiny portion. This was almost 20 dollars, not including door dash costs. I will never be back.

I've been 3 times. The food was tasty, but cold by the time it got to the table all 3 times. I have Celiac disease and I don't think the server took me seriously because when my food came out with bread on the side, she said she'd just remove the bread. Sigh. Went last Sunday for Easter brunch with my family. Didn't wait long for a table, hosts were very friendly. Food was delicious as always and our server was easy to talk to, and very efficient! But we were sitting by the kitchen and it was a little noisy. We could hear the chefs and staff arguing with each other. Got some baked goods on the way out and the service in the cafe/bakery area of the restaurant was great! The girl working was very kind and helpful. She recommended to get a pan of bread pudding for our dinner that day and it was amazing! Highly recommend it.

This chain is well known in Winnipeg. We were there for breakfast though it's open all day long. Parking (free) in the rear. The place is very clean, great decor (a combination of classy and industrial) , good music (full Bose sound system!). Staff are casual but professional. Service was reasonably quick. Food was very good and pricing was fair but not a steal. I'll absolutely be back again.

Love the food at Stella's! However it is frustrating when you arrive and view a dozen clean tables not being used and nobody being seated. There were only four parties to be seated yet we were all told we would have a 20 minute wait by two very young and obviously inexperienced employees. I am a frequent at Stalla's and did not appreciate or understand the inexperience at the door. I asked why so long the wait and the young male at the entrance walked away from me in the middle of our conversation because he was distracted by a very attractive young women who was greeting friends who had already been seated and settled in for awhile. I left! It was not a busy evening and the wait was not professional or necessary. The communication skills and costomer service at the door needs work.

If you don't want to pay a lot for a nice restaurant, this is the place. Great for students, since they have special coffees and lattes (study sessions/cramming). The price for food is fair as well, and you get a good portion. I always have to take a portion of my meal to go, afterwards.

I love Stella's in general but have had many bad experiences here. Have had them setup a table for my group after waiting a long time only to find out that the table was not on the patio as requested and the table was for 4 when we had asked for 7 people on the patio level, was annoying because we waited longer for the patio only to be seated at a table that could not accommodate our group size. Aside from that time and others , once you actually have your meal it's the same as most Stella's. Delicious! I'll usually goto other Stella's and pass this once however due to repeated mistakes / not great service or maybe it's just bad luck?

Had a great brunch here today. I had the chicken curry. It came with coconut, raisins, bananas and chutney. The extras all went really well with the chicken and curry. My friends had the Norwegian waffle and mexican breakfast. Both were reportedly delicious. Our service was friendly and prompt. We had a short wait for a table but I was able to get a coffee in the bake shop while we waited. We will definitely return.

Stella's is a trendy restaurant, which has a wide variety of menu options. As a francophone, I visit Stella's whenever I need my tourtière fix, since Stella's is (almost) as good as my family's! Delicious baking, good coffee/tea selection, smoothie menu, and also an alcohol menu.

Love this location - less noisy than some of the other Stella's locations and has attached bakery! . The patio is a lovely feature but I found it better for drinks /appies and less suited to full meals - the tables are very short and feel far away. You need to hold your plate on your lap or lean over the table.. Either way, it is uncomfortable. (perhaps they changed their table styles because I only used the patio once, when it first opened). Stella's is always such a great place to go - I can always trust that the food will be fresh and delicious.

We chose this place because I heard they had vegan options and we were staying nearby. We sat on the roof, so I was glad to have my sunglasses as it was quite sunny with no shade. Many of the tables were coffee table height, which would be fine if we were just having drinks and appetizers. They were a little awkward to eat dinner at, though. This is the only reason for not rating 5 stars. Our meals were very tasty and filling. I couldn't resist some of the vegan sweets, so I bought a piece of chocolate cake to go. It was huge! Very moist but a little too sweet; I scraped off most of the icing. The bakery on the main floor had vegan cinnamon buns that also looked amazing.

Great breakfast and lunch options and friendly servers. Parking can be a bit tricky and tables close together if you are navigating a stroller or wheelchair. The salmon eggs benedict is wonderful except for the very dense scone on which it is served.

My friend had ordered eggs as part of her breakfast. Upon eating the second forkful, she noticed eggshells throughout the eggs. When she mentioned it to our waiter, instead of offering her a fresh order of eggs or taking it partially or off of our bill altogether, he said a quick, "Oh , I'll mention it to our kitchen staff. Not great customer service or satisfaction.

My favourite food to order at Stella's is from the breakfast menu, especially the salmon. Last night, I had the salmon sandwich, which was great. However, the mushroom soup didn't meet my expectations. My boyfriend ordered the spicy tomato and potato soup and it was very bland, but the waitress kindly replaced it with the mushroom soup after he made a complaint. His main dish was the pad thai; I tried a bite and while it wasn't terrible, it's not something I would recommend. My favourite dish is the Salmon Benedict breakfast. They also have really good lattes.

WHAT a beautiful Stella’s. There’s lots in the city but this ones the nicest, the inside and especially the rooftop patio, beautiful. Food was super good, service was awesome. Being a semi-regular patron at this stella’s location, the restaurant usually offers very good service to its customers. Unfortunately, the quality of my favourite dish - eggplant Parmesan - has been totally unsatisfactory my last few visits. Yesterday evening, upon my order, the eggplant came out mushy, cold, and tasted like something microwaved and much too hastily put together. Stella’s staff reluctantly redid my order, however the dish simply came back cut into thinner slices, and smothered in salt. Customers beware when looking to order this dish.

This Stella's has an interesting feel of a cafe that is suitable for-breakfast/brunch or even for afternoon drinks. The interior finish compliments this vibe, with artwork and furnishings that balance warmth and wholesomeness w/ progressive style. We had to wait about 7 mins for a table as it was busy, though that was just enough time to peruse the front bakery showcasing desserts and fresh baked bread. Nice spot. Would like to try the rooftop patio if it wasn't -27 outside.

The staff and food here is really good. Took my family here a few times over the summer and fall this year. The only downside of this location is the parking. Your best bet is to attend during the weekends, because the parking lot during the week has reserved spots for other customers attending the other businesses in the same building where Stella's is. Also time it carefully, if you arrive during peak hours like 6-8pm on a Friday, be prepared to wait, it may take a while.

Staff was super nice, but they messed up almost every part of my order. It was so bad that I wasn't even mad, I just thought it was funny. I ordered four pancakes, got two. Ordered a side of grass fed beef sausage and got ready crisp microwave bacon. I did get hash browns though, so not a total loss.

Seems like Stella's is trying to make up for COVID losses by cutting portion sizes and staff. Had to wait 20 minutes tonight. Not because they didn't have tables. But because they had only one server. They had no soup. At 7 pm? When the burger came it was extremely disappointing. About half the size it usually is. On a WHITE BREAD bun? What?! I always feel when I leave Stella's I've paid more than the experience was worth. Tonight that feeling was twice as bad. C'mon you guys! Business will return. Stop gouging us in the short term.

My wife ordered lunch from this location through DoorDash. After almost 2 hours of no delivery she followed up and was told that her order had been sitting waiting for DoorDash to pick it up. Stella's blamed the delay on DoorDash and failed to offer any resolution or apology for the delay. I understand that DoorDash is responsible for pick up, but at what point does Stella's actually become accountable and follow up with the driver on their end knowing that the food would likely arrive not to the satisfaction of the customer after having sat out for so long and making the person wait 2 hours?

This is really good restaurant/cafe. Staff is really nice, food is delicious. Dessert is very big, two can eat one. They also have breads in a separate section. They have really good drinks as well. You can go here for absolutely anything including just a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I often go here with my co workers and everyone really loves it!! During summers, you can chose to sit on the patio upstairs (may have mosquitoes)! The place is very busy most of the times, so it’s best to make reservation. Also, parking is quite small, you may have to park on the street if it’s all taken.

I love stella's, but this location i've been to a couple times. Two days i had went with my boyfriend and again just disappointed with my food. He ordered the B&E burger which came with two strips of bacon and a sunny-side egg and apparently "caramelized onion, arugula, tomato, pickle & tomato relish" . He asked that everything in quotations didn't come on the burger and instead add mushrooms. What he got was an over cooked pattie that was practically grey and dry in the middle, the egg overtop was completely cooked through and it had caramelized onion and arugula... while my portion of Pad Thai was the smallest ive ever seen it and just the flavor was not there.

Ordered the B&E burger and the Mushroom and Havarti burger. The order was cold when it arrived (it's only 5 minutes down the road), the Cole slaw was in the same container as the burgers (!?), the burgers themselves were awful, way too much herbal flavour and overcooked, the burgers were on focaccia bread which fell apart (the menu does not mention that they use bread instead of buns); the plastic forks and knives were so flimsy we couldn't use them to cut the burgers... We might try their breakfast sometime but definitely not their burgers again. Threw everything into the garbage :(

I've only been coming here for a few months now but what can I say this is one of the best stellas location out there,fantastic seating with a great view! The staff is so wonderful and kind, they have no problem answering questions( especially about food allergies) everything they sell is made right there in house, you can watch them prepare the food too because they have a semi open concept kitchen! I take my family here almost every week now and it feels like home everytime! Do keep in mind thought that they can get pretty busy around Lunch time(11-1) but I've never waited longer then 8minutes to be seated and the longest on a super busy day for food was only 15minutes! 11/10 would recommend!

My appetite dropped after I found something like hair. I asked the staff as soon as I found it, but he said it was like a string of sausages. I don't know what he's talking about because I don't usually eat sausages, so I have no idea about it. He said it was definitely not hair. But its tip was white like a hair root and to my eyes without knowledge of sausages it looked like hair. It might not have been hair, but I already lost my appetite and couldn't enjoy the food. Except for this, Stella's food was delicious.

Always busy! But always amazing. I wouldn't turn down stellas ever. The only thing I don't like as much is their soups (just my opinion). The breads are sooo soft and delicious and the jams are sooo berryful! I always recommend stellas and the pembina is probably the better location (as it's bigger and you probably have a better chance of getting a seat)

My wife and I have been visiting Stellas several times since arriving in Canada 7 years ago. We decided to visit the Pembina location for brunch as we had been given a gift card for a birthday. As expected the staff were friendly and polite and the resteraunt was clean and tidy. unfortunitly my experience soon deteriated after being sat at our seats and our order was brought to us. We had both ordered a starter each and a main course of which all four plates were delivered together. An appolagy was given but the fact is I would not expect this from Stellas. I informed the server that it was fine but to be honest it wasn't and I now wish I had said something. My wife's Dragon bown was good and she enjoyed imensly but I was a little confused that the bread that accompaned my Scandinavian Gravalax was dry and didn't come with butter or margarine ( this apparently to the server was normal ). I was also put out that a good percentage of my meal was made up of cucumber ( it did taste nice but far too much Stellas ). This is the first time that I have made a negative comment for a resteraunt and I didn't think it would be Stellas.

This Stella's is okay, but not great. Namely, lack of staff during peak hours. My colleagues and I waited over 45 minutes for a table. Then the staff forgot to accommodate a large enough table for a baby car seat, so we were 5 people and a baby at a 4 person table. I proceeded to tell the waiter that the others at my table would stay for a full, proper lunch but that I would have just a grilled cinnamon bun right away since I had to leave soon. It took over 30 minutes and came with everybody's lunches, was cold, and I had to ask for it to go. On a side note, the ultra modern look doesn't have that same warmth you get from other Stella's locations.

Wow! Our first time at Stella's on Pembina and we pick a Sunday morning. There were at least 40 people ahead of us but the Hostess said the wait would only be 20 to 25 minutes for two people and she was right on the money. Spent the time watching as Stella's very efficient staff worked their magic getting the masses seated and served. 20 minutes later we were seated and shortly there after our food arrived. Stella's food is always excellent and the Pembina location is as well but their friendly efficient staff deserve kudos for making the experience of Sunday morning brunch awesome.

My experience at the patio during covid-19: We went on a Sunday for lunch pembina branch, Our experience was unpleasant unfortunately. The service was poor, I'm not sure why, its not the great experience I get when going to Stella previously. I am not sure if the provincial restrictions require below average service from the staff. We waited long for the food, only to arrive cold. I don't mind waiting for the food as long as its fresh and warm. The food came in take away boxes, which was disappointing because it's hard to eat from and makes food soggy, but if that's what the provincial requirement is, then I won't complain about this part. We asked for an extra set of knife and fork (they serve plastic disposable ones) it never came. We had to ask to bring the delicious Stella jam, because they forgot about it. I was surprised that refills are not allowed. No coffee refill, no napkins, no extra toast if requested. Staff never asked if we needed anything. They never check on you. Please tell me this is due the restrictions? I honestly don't like to order my food for takeout because it gets cold and soggy. So I would only dine in if available. Thank you for letting the patio open and serving customers there. But please improve the service back to Stella famous service. I would hate to see my favorite restaurant go away. I am sad Osborne branch got shut down. I won't likely come back until the service is back to normal. I am posting my review so hopefully it's delivered to management. Thank you.

Stella's on Pembina. Beautiful inside. Much bigger than it looks from the outside. Too cold to try the patio upstairs but will try it again next year. There were not only multiple menu items that could easily be made vegan, but they do so without sacrificing the taste, quantity, or quality of the dish! This vegan linguine was to die for. I have honestly never had such a tasty meal while eating out, even from fully-vegan restaurants! Stella's, PLEASE continue doing what you're doing. Having an inclusive atmosphere (not just for those with alternative diets) is setting an example all across Winnipeg, and the rest of Central Canada. I might not get back here as often as I like, but every time I'm in town I can guarantee you've got a faithful customer!

I first off wanna say that this is embarrassing. We came in waited 30 minutes to be be seated, then was told by a manager that our “waitress” was on break? This manager gave us water and took our order on a piece of used paper making us wait an hour and a half not even to get our food. Then finally our “waitress” came and told us it would be three more minutes for our food which was the biggest lie because we waited another 15 minutes only to be told by the people next to us they waited 2 hours for cold food. We waited patiently only to be told by our “waitress” they had no salmon which they could have told us two hours ago but I guess not. She didn’t even know what we could substitute it with which was red flag number 1000. After finally figuring out what to substitute it with we were told our food was only being made now. I know what your thinking “why would you stay?”. We didn’t, we simply wasted 2 hours here not to even get food not to even be greeted properly but to only sit there and feel uncomfortable. If I could give a negative star I would. Me and my sister who were both there also work in this type of industry and this is totally unacceptable.

Enjoy a unique seating arrangement open concept with a rooftop deck that appeals to the sun lovers. Dont be intimidated by the bathrooms...its just they way things are going these days. Really what the big deal.

Stella's has a good variety in their menu with plenty of vegetarian options and twists on classics. Friendly staff and the rooftop patio is great during summer. Menu is a little on the pricier side but portions are generous. The guac is some of the best in the city, would recommend the Mexican breakfast with chorizo.

Went for my Bday celebration with my friends last week. We booked reservation for 10 ppl and we end up have 15 ppl and they arranged sits very nicely for additional guests. Mostly my experience was good but couple of the things made me very upset. First of all servers need to be more patients with orders. Don't ask your customer right away what will they have. Atleast let them look at the drinks menu, give them couple minutes to breath. Second, we order shots and they brought that in regular glass. They killed my mood. It's no fun to gave shots in regular glass. We then order whiskey neat, and server brought it in a Martini glass. That's not cool at all. Who serves whiskey in martini glass ??. Not a good way to impress your customers. Food was just Ok, most of my guest complain that there was no flavor in their food. I would say if you guys make more effort you can really make your customer experience better. Specially when they are coming to celebrate some special day.

VERY DESAPOINTED I have ordered some speciality bread (3 round challah) at Pembina bakery location. The order was clear, accepted by the Stella’ employee. When I came on Saturday morning to pick up the bread I got a polite smile and a deep apology “ no ordered bread due to some bakery misunderstandings” – Big issue for my incoming event , on such a short notice. There were hundreds of way to avoid any “misunderstandings “ ..I believe it was just MISMANAGEMENT This location ( Stella’s on Pembina Winnipeg) either will cancel any “bakery” service ( too difficult to handle) or change the manager ( with one capable to handle this additional service) ..definitely “not my Stella’s “from now on

My wife and I were driving by and saw the rooftop patio and thought it would be a nice place to get a bite to eat. Walked in and waited a bit by the front door, nobody at the front to welcome us, no signs saying wait to be served or seat yourself, so as nobody seemed interested in us we went upstairs to the rooftop patio, found a table in the sun near the front. So we waited, and waited, the servers walking past us several times to clean tables and bring food and drinks to others near us. Nothing, not even a glance, so after over 10 minutes of waiting we left, one of the servers said bye as we left. On the main level I asked a server if walkins aren't allowed and quickly explained what happened, she said there is usually a sign saying wait to be seated and pointed at a basket that was clearly missing the sign, she clearly didn't know what to say and no effort was made to accomadate us, so we left and had a wonderful lunch elsewhere.

Always a great place, good food, good service, reasonable prices. Very popular though, lunch and dinner you should try to make reservations. We had reservations and arrived at about 11:30 and waited 20 minutes, and the line was getting longer as we stood there. Also the parking lot out back is small, you may have to park a block or two away on a street. Same menu, pretty much, as the Portage or Osborne locations, but also has a front room where they sell their baked goods, breads, buns and pastry and coffee. Definitely worth checking out even if you cannot get in to sit down for a meal.

Have been to Stellas twice. The first time was a great experience although the parking was a bit of a hassel. Our second and probably last time being there we had issues with the the parking again...found a spot eventually but find that the stalls are only made for smart cars or scooters as my van barely fit within the confines of the two yellow lines. Found a seat an received two cups of coffee before our food came out. Food was cold the French Country omelette ordered had cheese that was unrelated and the butter on my pancakes barely melted. Finished our meal and went to make a phone call only to discover that we had no cell range and no Wi-Fi. If you are a business person and need to be able to receive calls and or emails I would suggest another restaurant. Won't be attempting a third visit.

Food is on par with other Stella's locations, 4/5, with a well designed menu and good pricing, although I wish they would change it up more often. Service here can be spotty. I've experienced both outstanding service and long wait period. Coffee is mediocre so I wouldn't recommend just for a latte.

Great service, fast and high quality food. Our family went there for a special occasion, 6 of us celebrating. We made reservations ahead and didn't have to wait for a table when we arrived. Service was fast, and my dad who is typically a picky eater found things on the menu he really enjoyed. While Stella's is a bit pricier compared to other restaurants that serve all day breakfast and sandwiches/burgers, the quality is well worth it. Fresh-made food and quality ingredients. We had a breakfast here. I liked a simple and nice interior - wooden tables and chairs, sitting places were separated. Initially, we wanted to sit on the patio but we were warned that there are many wasps, so then decided to sit inside. ????????????????????☕️ Our waitress was super-super nice and showed the best attitude to us and she asked twice to fill our cups of coffee, thanks a lot! ☕️ If you will want a quiet sitting place probably you can ask to sit at the end of the cafe. It is huge, though. Even though Stellas is famous for its breakfasts, they also offer an alcoholic beverage as well, so that you might consider this place to have a dinner with a good wine or cocktail. ???????????????????????? Right on the entrance, there is a bakery, you can buy cakes, banada / sourdough breads, cookies, brownies etc. Definitely will come back again to try another delicious breakfast.

Although many of the employees had masks, some others didn't, that doesn't make much sense, I don't think the province has ruled a requirement for masks yet, social distancing was in place though. It's good food at very reasonable prices. They have lots of great meal options for vegetarians and vegans. You can get breakfast all day which is always a plus in my book. They have lots of different kinds of food on the menu so it appeals to a wide variety of folks, or if you go there often you can keep trying new things. Good drink options here to. This location also has a bakery where you can pick up all sorts of items to take home for later. In the summer they also have a nice rooftop patio. It doesn't have the best view but it's outside which is very pleasant.

The rooftop patio is very nice as you can only see the tops of the trees when you are there, makes it look like you are in the middle of a forest even though there's buildings everywhere. Service can be a bit slow during peak hours as they try to keep up with demand... just go when it is not as busy or be prepared to wait a bit. Having said that the wait is still not unreasonable.

The interior of restaurant is amazing. Pembina Stella's is the most organised, clean restaurant compare to the other 2 Stella's. But service wasnt that good. They always serve cold drink in heavy glass cup with straw. Thats what i have had the other stella places. It's kinda hard to drink without straw because its heavy. Anyways, I had my drink with no straw i understood server forgot or missed something it always happens cuz we re not machine. So i let waitress know that i need straw. After around 10m she seems forgot about that, let her remind again, after 10m she served our foods, she said 'oh straw!' and I finally got the straw. Chatting with co-workers is one of my favorite too. But if it's too much it may ruin customers feeling even you serve really good foods.

My second time at this location! I am impressed with the quality of food but also the atmosphere. This experience was more pleasant because it was not only quieter coming early morning, but the food seemed hotter and more full of flavour. The dining room was peaceful and has a trendy vibe - very warm and welcoming. Our waitress, though forgetful at times was still friendly and efficient. In addition to the tasty tofu scramble, I had a London Fog and it was THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD! Thanks so much Stella’s for making my experience a memorable one... will be sure to return :)

Came to the Pembina Highway location to celebrate wedding anniversary. Was disappointed to find that the Salmon Wellington was sold out. This was 6:15 pm on a Friday night. Ordered the Vegetarian Lasagna with Caesar Salad instead. Flavours were amazing and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Server was adequate. Not very friendly. But the meal turned what started as a negative visit into a wonderful dinner.

The food was very good the breads and jam are apparently made in house. They have a coffee bar and sell breads from that area of the restaurant. We have been there twice now and they have some amazing smoothies and we have tried four of the five that they offer and really like them all. They are $6.95 for a 20oz serving. They have an all-day breakfast option and I had a croissant stuffed with bacon eggs and cheese. Other choices in our group were a salmon spinach Benedict, fruit salad, oatmeal, and a Mexican breakfast which was almost too much to eat and it included guacamole, sour cream, hash browns, two eggs, and refried beans on top of some soft tacos. You won't go away hungry after choosing this dish! Prices are reasonable for what you get and as stated, good portions for the price.

I usually like going to Stellas on portage but wanted to try the patio in stellas on Pembina, unfortunatley I never even had the opportunity to eat there. I went there to meet up a friend for brunch on a Sunday,my mistake was that I didnt make a reservation beforehand. Just to give some background,I don't drive and I took the bus,I also live near Windsor park. I arrived there and went inside to get a table while waiting for my friend to Come, she also took the bus. I was told there is a 45 to an hour waiting list for the patio and since me and my friend cannot sit inside together as we are not from the same household and not fully vaccinated I agreed to wait. Right before my friend came while I was waiting for maybe 7 min I got a call there is an open table inside,I explained to the girl that I need the patio as we cannot sit inside together and she said they will call me back. Me and my friend decided to go to a nearby Tim hortons while waiting and get a drink, after being at Tims for almost an hour at that point with no call, we decided to go back towards stellas in case they call us. All I have to say is,they never called us back. We decided to go back to my friends house and get pizza. I hope the management can take care of this in the future because not only we wasted time by coming there by bus on a Sunday(bus service is very scarce on Sunday's) but we waited for literally nothing. I know the restaurant is busy but I feel if you make a promise to a customer it should be kept. Thank you for your time

Rating is poor only because the patio furniture is absolutely ridiculous! Waited 10 minutes to be seated on the patio, which was fine, but they should really let you know that you'll be eating off an end table about a foot off the ground.... This type of low table arrangement is incompatible for the chair height. Older guests or people with back pain will not be able to enjoy sitting up on the patio at all. Not to mention the fact that eating entrees, especially soups or pasta are literally impossible, unless you want to wear your food. PLEASE GET SOME REGULAR HEIGHT TABLES! I love Stella's and my food was great, but i ended up taking half my meal in a take out box because of the table height. I will never ask to be seated on the patio again unless the tables are changed.

Nice place. Don't get the Pad Thai, it's disgusting. the noodle are overcook and taste slightly burnt, not anything like Pad Thai. Vegan chocolate cake go with that... can't go wrong with chocolate cake.

Food quality not as good at this location as Pembina Highway location. Extremely crowded tables, very loud. Wouldn't return. Server was excellent and really appreciated.

We had a very bad experience in our last visit although the food was very good. We made waiting for 90 minutes outside to have free 7 seat tables at the Patio. When we got the seat we realized that there were free seat and space but they hesitated to provide them. The worse was that we saw they rearranged the seat for others to provide them room while they did not do it for us. I expect much more from such great name and Brand to respect their customers. Hope they fix it for the future but I will never visit them agian.

Loud and boisterous atmosphere during peak brunch hours on the weekend. Fast and efficient service which is great when it's so busy. Limited parking but there is lots on the streets. Expect the same menu as all other locations.

I’ve been going to Stella’s over the years ever since they opened the first location in Osborne Village over ten years ago. The menu, the fresh baking and cooking never disappoints! The last couple of visits I tend to go to the locations on Pembina and Sherbrook. I enjoyed the cinnamon bun, and chai latte..so yummy! Friendly staff too! As a visitor to Winnipeg: Stella’s is a must! Local.

Stella has trancended its restaurant status. It is now a cultural phenomenon in Winnipeg. But i dont see whats special about this place. The line up is atrocious and on a busy day one can wait up to 45mins to be seated. I am very traditional and tend to stick with old fashion choices like bread and bacon. For the adventourous spirit, this place offers some excellent choices beyond toast and bacon. On the other hand, one of the female waiters in the pembina location has an "am too good to be serving you/am better than you/am just going to fake a smile while simultaneously being passively rude to you attitude".

It was our first time at this particular Location. The place was clean, ambience was good. Waiting time is typically 20-30min on a weekend /holiday. *Make sure to carry your proof of vaccination when you go* The server was really quick and interactive. Rest of the staff was polite as well. One of the half plates was not clean but they changed but immediately and without hassle. Food potions were really good and quality of food was also decent. All in wall a good experience.
