Ordered 6 donuts thru a delivery service from Bronuts a few days ago . All 6 were stale !! Very disappointing as these are not a cheap treat !!

Danylo Moussienko

My god is this place good. I was here a few months ago and fell in love with these donuts. The best donut places I find have different batters for their different donuts, rather than putting a bunch of different flavouring and sugar on top of a simple donut recipe. Such a great place, and good service too!

joe maciesza

Great strong coffee and homemade donuts what's not to like?

Linnea Marohn

We visited Bronuts while in Winnipeg to enjoy some vegan donuts. We rarely get the opportunity so were excited to try a new place. While the donuts were absolutely delicious we probably won't be back as their offerings are cake donuts and we prefer the more yeast dough type. But if cake donuts are your jam, Bronuts is the place your should visit!!

J Barry

I've given Bronuts 3 or 4 tries since it opened. Unfortunately, the only doughnut I liked was pumpkin pie. The rest were very dry and dissapointing for the price. I would say the only advantage Bronuts has over Tim Hortons is the interesting flavour options. Lots of people have given this place rave reviews, so maybe my taste buds just aren't as sophisticated as theirs. Although, I will say I've been to Oh Doughnuts many times and was never dissapointed. I don't mind paying the high price for a quality product.

Jacob Linney

Great donuts!

Great doughnuts. Get there early for best selection.

Cathy Bogaart

I had two different doughnuts and didn’t really like either of them. Edible, but not great. Maybe it would have been different if I’d had them first thing in the morning? The guy was nice though.

Ah Rin Park

Place is clean and nice. Donuts are just fine. If you're not into sweet donuts you'll like it here. $3 is a little expensive for a donut, but it looks good. They're donut descriptions were funny. If only they have more options to choose from. Also flavors are not really to come back for.

Aurora Mcnab

Weirdly I'm more into for the coffee.

Derek Holtom

Unique donuts obviously. Key lime one was enjoyable

Matthew Nordick

The donut debate in Winnipeg comes down to Bronuts and Oh Donuts. Their equally delicious and they both target a different donut demographic. Where Oh Donuts makes a lighter, more familiar donut; Bronuts makes a heavier donut that tastes and feels more like the ones grandma used to make as she finished off her bottle of Butter Ripple Schnapps. Producing a donut using simple flavour combinations that result in a rich and often intense sweet tooth experience. Their regular glazed, Sprinkles, Boston Cream, Peanut Butter and Jam are all fantastic.

It's a nice little place. Emphasis on little.

The donuts were not good enough for the price.

Super friendly service, I find it so hard to find a good coffee outside Australia where I live, So I was pleasantly surprised and would for sure go back regular for a coffee. Im not the biggest Donut fan, but these were pretty delicious!!

Owen Dunnigan

Keith Hancox

Great donuts and coffee, a little pricey, but worth it.

Rena Mathieson

We went on Monday around lunchtime. I was wanting to come here and try one of their donuts. After lunch we stopped in. To our disappointment, there was only 2 donuts to choose from. We chose the Espresso glaze donut to share. Unfortunately, it did not taste fresh. The donut itself tasted kind of dry (even a bit stale). The glaze was ok, but not great. Server working, was really nice, appreciated the clean establishment with complimentary masks and sanitizer. Hopefully when the pandemic is over, we will try the donuts once again.

Hlecktro I

Make sure you go there early and not in the middle of the afternoon. The donuts you want will be sold out. If you order from them, you may get different donuts than what you ask for because again, some of them will be sold out. They will be sold out because batches are handmade every morning. GO THERE EARLY. Very rich and heavy donuts, so might not be for everyone. Tastes miles better than the corporate factory glue served at Tims.

Rebecca Kresta

The donuts are sweet but not to heavy, coffee is excellent (thank you transcend roasters) and I had the pleasure of meeting one of the brothers, humble and customer oriented happy to help and tell their story.

Stevin Truijen

I ordered the beet donut. Took it home and when I bite into it. It was like a salt lick. I dont know if it was from the baking powder or soda. Or if they put salt chunks in it. Sorry wont be recommending this place. The staff are friendly though.

Anders Chapman

Absolutely amazing donuts. Almost an insult to call their creations donuts because when I think donuts, I think about those things at Tim Horton. These are next level, league of their own. Owners are very generous and community minded. Some serious gourmet stuff here.

Peter Heasler

Really busy, wasn't able to get anything. Seemed like an interesting place, I'll probably try again another time.

Vincent Amoyo

They ran out of donuts... for goodness sake and they didn't bother just close the shop. Horrible service

Marina Havard (Marishinka)

They are usually closed late afternoons or sold out when we have wanted to try.

Paul Cook

Dru Knott

Its great they have a vegan option.. But there is always only 1 type of donut they have that is vegan. Half of the time when I go in, there are none left. Bronuts... why not make at least 2 of the donut types vegan? A buddy and me both got one (his not vegan) and he said the vegan one was better so its not like you will be inconveniencing the non vegans...

Edward A

A little heavy and no finesse - even the employee liked better donut shops haha

Em Eff

Killer coffee and great donuts

METAHTAMBEAST

Bronuts serves good doughnuts with good service, although I feel like the interior is hit or miss. It's not cosy or welcoming, but it's not bad either. The doughnuts more than make up for the somewhat spartan feel; they have a variety of flavours and types to try

Courtney Burak

Really tasty donuts. The staff is very friendly, an excellent start to my day. Id like to see tea lattes added to their menus, if they had those it would be a 5 star for me.

Max Stockwell

Excellent staff, excellent donuts.

T Kach

Unique and tasty flavour combinations for donuts! Welcoming employees as well :)

Alecs G

Yummy donuts! Cozy space. A bit pricey

Karey Martin

The donuts were alright, in my opinion they taste like any other donut. Except their fruity ones. Those ones were my favorite. I've never tried anything remotely similar like them before, it was really good.

Lili

Really yummy donuts, and they always have good vegan options!!

Adam Bubolz

Steve Crockett

A highlight of Winnipeg. Great, unique doughnuts and friendly owners. Would love to go back.

Caitland Kaplan

These were some of the best donuts I've had. Great place to go. The only unfortunate thing about ordering via SkiptheDishes is not knowing what you might get and not having the option to choose. Going to the actual location is probably the way to go.

Adnan Ahmed Mohammed

Well I can’t say I love these. After paying $37 for a dozen doughnuts I am sadly disappointed. These doughnuts I swear are a day old because they are as hard as a rock. Won’t be back but matcha was good

Kevin Turabian

Nikita Kelly

Coffee was salty, I couldn't even keep it in my mouth it was so bad. The donuts tasted like they were a day old, not fresh.

Luna D. K.

Not a big fan of dense doughnuts. And theirs is super dense. Flavors are good though. I just thought it wasnt worth what I paid for. I personally like ohdoughnuts better. Its fluffy and creamy and the price is about the same.

Sarah Strome

Top quality! Great selection of tasty treats. Very friendly staff, got my order ready quickly. Pricey, but within reason, especially given the quality of product and service. You gotta check it out at least once!

Shauna Curtin

Best donuts, so clean

Colton Dueck

Great donuts and decent coffee

Diane Froese

Made my day!

Sam Avery

good coffee, very rich donuts with interesting flavours, space is fairly small but feels cozy.

Jonah McCavour

I can see why people come here for the donuts; they're incredible! However, this is the ONLY place that I've been to in the city where one can get a PROPER cappuccino! Thick, creamy, nice and strong... the way God intended.

Brent Campbell

Great service, delicious donuts, well made coffee, friendly service. A bit on the pricey side.

Craig Woodward

The espresso was good but the donuts tasted of strongly of bread dough. They were all the same except for the gritty topping. For the price I was very disappointed, as was everyone at home who tried one.

Chris Carlson

Lots of the donuts are untraditional flavours that more often than not miss the mark, while there are definitely some gems sparkled in between. While there is seating, it's definitely more of a get in get out atmosphere. They've recent changed hours from 7am to 8am for seemingly no reason other than to cut out a portion of customers who go on their way to work. The fact that there are so few "traditional" donut shops in the city definitely work in their favour as Winnipeg's donut game is pretty weak compared to other cities - Bronuts not being the exception.

Ryan Smoluk

Very convenient if you are in a hurry and you need Coffee Pronto they are Very Patient and very helpful and aim to please the prices are very fair. please go check them out.cheers!

Ray Leung

Really good donuts. Top tier. Staff were also friendly.

Patrick Villacorta

Pretty average donuts for a high price, paired with pretentious staff who tend to look down on customers who don’t fit the “hipster” look that the store is going for. As typical of a comment this is, I really would give this place 0 stars if possible.

Never really ate donuts until this place popped up. Never even heard of such a thing as a gourmet donut. Since there opening I've eaten way to many donuts. Thanks for the extra 5lbs Bronuts!

Tyson Doknjas

Tasty doughnuts and good coffee!

Madison Zienkiewicz

Always a good donut here. Not the biggest fan of their coffee but I go there for donuts anyways.

Colette & Erik

Excellent donuts... great homemade taste, wonderful flavours and superb service

Matthew Peters

Far and above the best donuts in Winnipeg, constantly changing menu, friendly staff.

Rob Blaich

If you're looking for a fresh donut, and the best quality in Winnipeg, this is the place to be. They only have about 8 different choices, but they're really good ones! And make sure you go early! They close when they sell out, which is often around 2 PM.

Stephen Bigham

Matt K

Damn fine donuts.

Kelly Guncheon

We really wanted to like this place because we love little family-owned eateries, but yuck. Really pleasant dtorefrontbabd service, but the coffee is terrible--not much flavor, and a bitter after taste--and the donuts weren't much better. We tried the blueberry/lavender donut (dry and bland), lemon meringue (our favorite of the lot: delicious filling and dough, but flavorless meringue), coconut lime (our second favorite, but again the donut was dry), chocolate mint (the worst of the lot: very dry--overlooked, I think--and there was no flavor in the mint icing), and the pear fritter (again overcooked and dry; no flavor but the oil). Really sorry to post this, but I was hoping for much better quality. We actually tossed some.

Eric Carter

Always a treat getting anything from here!

Tbrawlen “Terry Berry”

Better than I thought! Seeing the Company all over my social media feeds got a little irritating which brought me to the conclusion that I need to go there and taste for myself. They were delicious! I ordered an Old Fashion and a Chocolate Dipped, and a Happy Staff tended to my needs getting my Donuts before I finished paying. The Old Fashion was delicious, though, I found it to be a little dry, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it! The Chocolate Dipped must be my favourite, from the dough's fluff and Texture, to the rich Chocolate with a very nice salty mid-taste, for sure a place to go to again. Yes the Donuts are quite pricey but for what you're getting I'd say Treat Yourself and get a couple.

Donuts are good if you like them crunchy on the outside. You can taste the oil they use a bit but I like it. Flavors can be strange but taste good. Staff could be more friendly..

Collin Stevenson

Unique selection of a great product. Who doesn't like bronuts? Yes I said bronuts! If you don't know what I am talking about then you should go and taste for yourself. The description would not do it justice.

Chris

The staff seem happy to be at Bronuts. Also, I bought their donuts to work and I became a folk hero (even more than normal).

Dylan Duval

Quick service, delicious donuts, and good coffee.

Kevin Guenther

Best doughnuts in town and debatably the best coffee too. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Great place to meet up after dinner if you're heading to a concert or show downtown.

Flavio Mesquita

Can't believe we drove to downtown Winnipeg on a summer Sunday early morning for an amazing donut treat. It's not the same as the donut you know south of the border. Free street parking on Sundays. A perfect stop before heading to Canadian Museum of Human Rights

Amanda Camara

Need better customer service.

Amy Dahl

Josh Sallows-Harrie

I do like Bronuts for their quick and easy service. Good coffee and good donuts, better than the Tims in RRC...low bar, I know. I do sometimes find their donuts more dense than I like so I have to be mindful of which one I am getting. I do enjoy their experimental flavour of the day options.

Bruno Lazera Maciel

Best donuts in the city!

Chaina Sandhu

Good coffee and warm atmosphere in downtown core

Decon Ross

Simple menu and intriguing donuts. Donuts are thicker than expected very filling and satisfying after just one. Coffee + Donut combo is a great snack for $5.

Top notch doughnuts and coffee for a reasonable price. Ordered a Madison doughnut and it was something else. The peanut butter glaze and chocolate fudge complimented each other perfectly on the soft pastry dough. Really a true delight.

On a country dominated with overly sweet donuts, Bronuts did something that is phenomenal. They made their donuts the correct amount of sweet. This is one of the reasons why I visit them or order from them. The staff is friendly and have an idea of what they are selling. The fine lady who served me a good latte and a custard filled donut was so pleasant to talk with. I had a small problem and she helped me with it, for which I am very grateful. Ok less about the staff and more about the food. I was advised to have the Myles donut. After being offered a good latte with the donut, I was expecting it to be overly sweet, because I haven't found a proper flavoured donut after landing in North America. But the flavor surprised me. The chocolate was sweet but once you got into the chocolate flavoured custard in the middle, it was sublime. Combined with the perfectly made latte, my lunch was worth it.. Bronuts, you made donuts right..

Great donuts and coffee, and great staff. Their cake donuts are my favourite! 10/10 would recommend.

Willow Wolfe

Rommel Luna H

No need to compare to the "other donuts places", but without mentioning names, I think Bronuts is slightly-and-a-half above the rest. Their donuts are more like little cakes in the shape of donuts, and I mean that in the best way. Not only they are packed and heavy with goodness, they are very varied and imaginative. And, if you prefer the taste of real fruit in your stuff, Bronuts is meant for you. The Charlottes (yeah, their donuts all have people's names) are filled with the most delicious and fluffy strawberry-cheesecake filling and their Connie's are a pistachio lover's fantasy. I just had some this morning to celebrate our Pfizer second dose, so my feelings here are current. Cheers!

Steve Conner

Jared Zanewich

The donuts were great. The coffee was so-so

Sheilah R

We went to Bronuts on a whim one morning, and were not disappointed at all. We got the jam buster, pistachio, salted caramel, cheesecake, and apple fritter. The speed at which they were inhaled by my children is quite indicative of how delicious they were. I also appreciated how much care they took in making sure everything was safe (from a covid viewpoint), so I felt comfortable bringing my young kids inside. We will most definitely be treating our kids to this again sometime in the future.

Jason Hale

I K (Kira)

Nice place, but we weren't too impressed with the donuts. Tried three different ones, tasted the same and felt a bit stale.

B. M.

Best donut experience in the City. The customer service is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is really good! As far as the donuts go, they are amazing! The flavours are real and the food is fresh. Hands down my favourite place.

Matthew Penner

Leah Mell

Bad location, rude staff and only like 5 choices.

Colin Lobo

Good donuts and ok coffee. Lots of unique flavours to choose from. Cozy seating area. I’d would try it again just for the donuts.

Ron Boss

I assumed there would be sweetner for the coffee when I ordered. Staff made no apology or offer amends of any sort when I turned back the coffee after paying for it Donut was good.

Tolights Flores

In my opinion, they are the best it Winnipeg. Their donuts are more creative, more palatable, and has the better bang for the buck compared to the other gourmet donuts out there. Too bad they run out fast. Make sure to order ahead (preferably a day before)!

Top notch doughnuts and coffee for a reasonable price. Ordered a Madison doughnut and it was something else. The peanut butter glaze and chocolate fudge complimented each other perfectly on the soft pastry dough. Really a true delight. The Americano I ordered paired up great with the doughnut and overall only costed 6$ which is on the cheaper end when it comes to gourmet pastries/coffee. Would definitely come back and next time I'm bringing a friend!

Marie-Eve Garand

Their donuts are fantastic and their coffee is perfect! I had the Barbra, a rhubarb & elderflower wonder!

Mark Dykstra

Bronuts offers gourmet donuts at a premium price. I tried some some sort of maple walnut concoction. Wasn't too bad, but not worth the price. Parking is very hard to find.

Grace B.

Riley Scharfenberg

Doughnuts here are simply the best. This bakery is not afraid to experiment so their menu changes every week. My friends and I will often come in from outside the city for 7:00 in the morning to grab a dougnut before work.

Catrina Bordignon

Taylor Wilson

Somethings definitely changed with their recipes or who makes them because they haven’t been as good for a while. Last time I enjoyed a donut from here was like before March 2020...

I recently visited Winnipeg for a weekend trip and Bronuts was high on my list of places to visit. I discovered them through Instagram and instantly knew I needed to visit. Bronuts falls into the minimalist-inspired craft donut shop wave that is sweeping North America. With white subway tiles abound, clean branding, and beautiful donuts - their entire shop is instagrammable. I had the Cranberry Dip with White Chocolate Donut. I only had one but could have had ten - their donuts push the bill when it comes to ingredients added - check out the Candy Cane Crumble - while mastering the most important elements of a donut - shape, size, consistency, moistness, etc. In addition to their fantastic donuts, Bronuts has an excellent "third-wave" inspired coffee program. They work with Transcend Coffee, out of Edmonton, for their drip and espresso coffees. My friends and I had a combination of hot coffee and lattes and they were all delicious. Bronuts was fairly busy when I was there but the wait wasn't long at all. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Additionally, I really appreciated how they went out of their way to speak with me for a bit and give me a list of other restaurants and bars I should visit while in Winnipeg. Taking their advice, I visited some of the places they suggested and couldn't have been more pleased as those places were just as good as Bronuts. I simply can't wait to visit Winnipeg again to get Bronuts! Next time I'll definitely be visiting more than once!

Dmitrii Trubetskoy

Kinda overpriced but kinda original donuts they have... Regular coffee is awful as everywhere in North America )) try espresso maybe...

J W

These donuts are average at best, with limited flavours and basic execution. Walk away and go to Oh Doughnuts.

Rich Magus

Best dougnuts around!!!

Naasiha A.

Sarah Lynn Schweitzer

Was really pumped to visit this place and walked a fair distance to get donuts and coffee but they had sold almost everything out to someone who came in before us.... Coulda left one or two for walk ins ya??? ????

Dustin Welsh

Great coffee. Some doughnuts are better than others but nonetheless a great way to start the day.

Benjamin Tiessen

The best donuts in the country. Very acidic coffee and no dark roast. Order the mocha.

Rafael Santos

Their espresso is amazing. Their donuts are divine.

Stephanie Ashley

Chieko Hashimoto

It's an average cafe with fresh doughnuts. To be honest, I'd rather prefer oh doughnut! for the price range. Their doughnuts are more funccier.. This place could be a good meeting spot in exchange since it's not too loud and there is free wifi. I don't mind to come here if an occasion fits.

Kelly Edwards

I tried to bring my friends here, but one of my friends - referring to an incident that happened a few weeks back - said that after hours she drove in front of your establishment and saw something weird. She was dropping off someone in front of your store and when she looked over she saw a group of people sitting in the shape of a donut with what looked like a weird ritualistic gathering. They were all in a circle with serious looks on their faces sitting on the floor in a dimly lit setting. She said it was the weirdest thing she ever saw. I tried to get her to come into the store but she always gives me an excuse not to. I'm not sure if that witness account affected anything. Anyway, if you're all sitting on the floor in dim lights after hours worshipping or sacrificing donuts, you might want to put curtains up. Other than that weird incident, they have amazing handmade donuts! Kudos!

Excellent home made donuts

Eryk Sledz

The doughnuts are dense and tasteless they all have the same texture, just the toppings changed which was only a variety of 6 And at a $3.00 or greater price tag per doughnut not for the average consumer looking for a treat.

OSCAR NAVARRO

Shanell Dupras

Gabrielle

Great staff, makes you feel welcomed and has a "home like" feeling when your inside, a great atmosphere. Service was great, but get their early as they can run out fast sometimes. Very tasty!

Griner Family

Yummy donuts. Customer service not the best. Saturdays they open at 9:00 am, they had the door open before that time. Told us to stay but we were not able to place orders. We waited the precious 5 minutes to order and someone that was talking to the cashier and came after us, order before us even the guy knew was our turn. Didn’t say a word about it. Not nice at all. Let a friend instead of a new person to become a customer.

Cory @ Floodway Print Co.

A beautiful space with friendly staff, and great donuts!

Conrado Brunacci

The coffee has a funny taste, but the service is Ok.

Greg Burton

Bronuts has about seven different donuts daily, with interesting flavor combinations. The chocolate sea salt is very good. The PB&J looked amazing. Coffee is ok.

Ben Rogers

Really delicious donuts. Extremely flavourful and delicious baked taste, with great options for flavours and varieties. Good, fairly quick and friendly service with a nice modern design inside. Espresso was very acidic, similar to Little Sister and Thom Bargen. It was nice to have most of the donut flavors available, as they always seem to be sold out...

5 - Google Star Rating for the Blackberry Saskatoon donut this morning. Despite of my poor impression on the store due to low customer service & limited donut choices, I would like to give credit for that delicious donut I had this morning. The donut was not too, too sweet. I could taste the actual berries and jam inside the donut. It matches perfectly with my hot green tea matcha.

Andrew Kampen

Delightful little cafe in downtown Winnipeg! Freshly made donuts with only top notch ingredients. Decor is generally nice but with concrete floor. Coffee goes well with the donuts but was a little salty. High quality service with great product selection. A bit pricy but worth the extra money!

Bree R

Really don’t understand some reviews! The donuts are sooooo good! Especially the fruity ones, like the lime or the raspberry! Best ones I’ve had. They taste fresh and not overly sweet like other places have them! This is only our second time coming here and I am sure we will come back many more times! Also prices are great, compared to other small donut shops! Thank you!

Fantastic!! The best donuts, the best location, the nicest people!!!! I am always the happiest human leaving Bronuts (I wish their SkiptheDishes delivered a little father though).

Bronuts is good, their donuts are good, and they have some good choices, but when compared to the other place, not quite as out of the box, and not as much variety. Still way better than you would find at Tim Hortons etc. and worth checking out in the exchange, but not as mind blowing as others in town.

Keith Duma

Super delicious, high quality donuts. Definitely a well liked treat for the office

Our second time there today, Friday April 2 at 11:20am.. this time we were very disappointed, as there was no way those donuts were made fresh today... but being how they sell out every night how could this be? Very suspect if you ask us. We got 6 donuts, 2 Mini Eggs, 2 Oreo, and a Maple Bourbon and a Key Lime. For the price you pay you expect a fresh moist donut, not a dry stale tasting ball of dough. Reminded me of the Robins in the Thompson Airport... who legit sell day or 2 old donuts from their store in town, but at least I expect it from them. The first time we went the donuts literally melted in our mouths, and we were amazed. Today only toppings and icing on the donuts are the one saving grace, but this might not enough to go back for. Beware if you try this place yourself, it's hit or miss it seems.

Chad Kuzyk

Outstanding coffee & even better donuts. Definitely go early to get them when freshest.

Jen “Xcetera” Schultz

Tasty donuts and I enjoyed my lemonade. Specialty is obviously donuts, so don't expect a starbucks level coffee, but a nice accompaniment to your donut anyway. The shop has a great ambiance and a beautiful snapshot-worthy window view of the exchange distract. Friendly service - priced accordingly for a specialty, locally made product.

To be honest, donuts are not my favorite. I'd much sooner have a croissant or other pastry but I actually really enjoyed the donuts here. Fresh flavors and really nice texture (especially the jelly filled ones). I was also really impressed by their coffee. I was not expecting it to be that great as I expected the focus to be on the donuts but the barista working there was obviously very skilled and well trained on how to pull espresso and make a proper cappuccino. Little things like that really make me want to come back.

We have a very limited gourmet doughnut places in the city and for that reason alone Bronuts definitely needs some love to keep existing! Lol. Doughnut flavour changes daily and weekly; loving some, just okay with some. Regardless, the quality is top notch, although I must admit in some days some dough taste a bit dry. But hey, 5 stars for Bronuts and hope they keep improving the quality. PS: amazing hot chocolate is served here.

Expensive and a big old meh... might be for some, but not for me.

very cool cosmopolitan style pastry and coffee shop.

We tried a half dozen donuts a few different kinds. they are just big yeast donuts with nothing special about them just different glazes on the same donut which wasn't great to begin with. They are overpriced and they go stale that day.hopefully a small bakery starts doing some amazing donuts at a d Fair price. They do exist ive had them just not in Winnipeg yet. I would try making them Not impressed not sure what the hipe is...

M D

Decent donuts but I have never been blown away by any of the flavours.

Coffee good. Donuts looked good.

I find these donuts to be subpar. Not the best I've had and for the price it's not worth it. However, the staff are very friendly and inviting and the style and atmosphere of the place is very nice.

Nice local business.

Disclaimer: had them at Third & Bird, not at their store. I was really excited to try them since I had been to the store a couple of times and they were sold out. The donut was not very good, it was dry and seemed old. Pretty disappointing, I've had better ones at 7-11. The debate is over for me, Oh Doughnuts is 100% better. I had a coffee as well... It was terrible. It was bitter and had a nasty after taste. I had to dump it out and when I took the lid off there was lumps of curdled cream. It's was disgusting. Maybe the coffee and donuts are better at their store.

Very disappointed in this establishment. It was my Mother's birthday - and as we can all probably attest to, after being through a trying time such as COVID-19, it is hard enough as it is to know how to celebrate. We chose Bronuts instead of getting a cake. Unfortunately, we got a donut in our order that was NOT one that we ordered. Even more unfortunately, it was a donut made with peanuts. If there were peanut allergies in our family, this could have been VERY bad. When we brought this to their attention, they apologized - however, offered no explanation as to why we hadn't gotten our original order, and did not offer any way in which they would make up for their mistake. Not even a 'your next donut is on us' offer. We understand that mistakes happen, and that these are trying times for everyone, however this does not make us want to invest money or time in this business -- IT COULD ACTUALLY BE UNSAFE for those with allergies.

Jess C

Donuts are drenched in grease. Been there twice and its made me sick every time. Oh Doughnuts! is far superior quality. Bronuts is just like its customers, instagrammable but lacking personality or quality.

Best Damn Donuts you will find. Anywhere.

Derek O

Always consistent and a fantastic place to have a donut and coffee . Brett and the rest of the staff are great!

Melanie

In terms of food, the donuts are more of a specialty treat. Go early for fresh batches, they aren't gonna stay fresh as long as a chain shop's donuts would -- you know, with a million artificial additives. Came in on a cold day a couple months back, so there was no crowd. I'd suggest going in when it's busy that way you get the real vibe and hospitality that the employees give. At the time they seemed pretty lax and not down for conversation but that's a given when your workplace is dead. I've also ordered through skip the dishes and the delivery was prompt. Came in a cute box, however, I really think there is a difference with getting them in person and ordering them. Too pricy to order, just go in house.

I don’t get it. I don’t find anything special about these donuts. Quite honestly, some of mine have even been dry... I’ve mostly stopped going there. That said, staff has always been pleasant and helpful and I enjoy that they’re a local business with some very cool marketing. The coffee is great! Honestly, if it weren’t for the numerous iffy donuts I’ve had, this place would easily be 5 stars as every other aspect is lovely. However, I’m just not a big fan of the donuts themselves... which is kind of the point.

Front Office

Was downtown for a 8am appointment. On my way to work went by Bronuts and stopped.Loved it! Another opportunity arose. Downtown going to work. 7:30am. Be at work by 8am. Stopped at Bronuts. Not open? Did not open until 8am? Donut shop? Most people are at work by 8am. Bizarre.

rrroszko Rrroszko

I would give them a 4.5/5. Clean and a good selection for hand made donuts. I had a standard donut, something I can have at almost any donut shop for good comparison. The "old fashioned" It was very good, nice crunch with the certain cake texture in the centre. I thought the selection could have been better, but when they make specialty donuts, the selection will be greatly constricted. Will definitely visit again.

John D

Tasty donuts. I enjoyed my experience. Went there in the afternoon so not all flavours were available. Next time I would go earlier

I had high hopes for this donut shop as I had heard the donuts were good. I went here with a friend this morning and both of us were greatly disappointed. We got 2 donuts that looked and sounded good, but when we went to take a bite out of our donuts with excitement, we were greeted with a stale, chewy donut that definitely wasn't "fresh". We took one bite and threw them out. However, I will say the donuts had lots of potential if only they were fresh.

Great flavours and doughnuts itself.. not just pure sugar.. would love to revisit when i visit winnipeg again

I will eat them when they're brought to me. I would never actually pay for any more bronuts. ...don't get me wrong. I gladly shell out $30 for six Oh Doughnuts (on Broadway). Weekly. --that's with an added tip and delivery fee. Heck, I spend that much on a handful of croissants at Belle Baguette (av de la cathedrale). I don't mind paying a premium price for a *premium product.* Bronuts miss the mark. They're pretty to look at! But they're tough/dense and pretty flavourless. Just like their staff. The couple of times I have visited the shop, the Staff had a "holier than thou" attitude. If you're a first-timer, don't expect actual customer service. Expect blank stares that turn into irritated glances if you have any questions. But back to the doughnuts... they are no bueno. The texture is like they're days old. My jaw hurts just thinking about them. Advice? Go to Broadway and try an Oh Doughnut. Hurry, though, as they are usually sold out by the end of day. Even Bronuts themselves consider the tip above, seeing as they've copied Oh Doughnut flavours. tldr; Meh.

As a strong lover of all things pastry I couldn't wait to give this place a chance. My boyfriend, another couple, and I tried 4 donuts total. If you think white bread with chocolate pudding on top is a donut, you'll love this place. If you like white bread with cranberry candle wax and white chocolate drizzle you'll surely be diggin' this place. If you like white bread with cinnamon sugar and walnuts that fall off the second you grab your donut again, this is somewhere you gotta stop by! And lastly, if you like white bread that looks like it's covered in snot, the matcha is definitely for you! I can quite easily say it's tastes as bad as it looks! As a white female I couldn't wait to Instagram these beautiful donuts, but they were not nicely placed on a plate like I had seen before. The four donuts that were very fresh were stuffed in a bag all stuck together :( so, no Instagram and left craving a tim hortons sprinkle donut.

Very tasty Doughnuts. Pricey for sure but it's an artisan Doughnut shop. Be sure to come early when they open so you have a good selection to choose from.

Cute hip shop. More like cakes than donuts. The concept of making unique flavours is very cool, but the dough recipe is kinda lacking; I hope they figure out how to improve it!

unique and tasty donuts

Tried their Bronuts at St. Norbert Market last Saturday. Highly overrated and grossly over priced. My wife threw away half of hers and I didn’t finish mine. We’ve had some world class donuts in our travels, but these were awful - we won’t try them again!

Rickus Senekal

Cathy Cummings

Even grabbing them at the end of the day they tasted fresh as if just baked

Elisa Mileto

Delicious! We loved it!!!

Mavis Lewis

Has a small selection of doughnuts with a flavour of the week. Very tasty, decent coffee and an excellent selection of teas. Friendly staff, this is a hip little place. Parking in this area is tricky but there are 15 minute loading zones around if you’re just picking up doughnuts.

Nicole

Maybe I got a bad batch but I tried all the cake donuts and they were all dry and hard as a rock. I had the creme Brulee yeast donut as well and it was good, but it had almost no filling. We had them all the same day as purchase so they should be fresh...

Kyle

Jenna Maria

Tried a couple times and won’t be buying again. The donuts are overpriced and not very good. I like how they have creative flavours but the actual donut is very dry. Tim Hortons donuts are 100% better and aren’t overpriced. $9 for a dozen at Tims and $19 for only HALF a dozen at Bronuts...

Qam Haider

I placed an order online through Uber Eats. The order was confirmed by Bronuts, but after some time and confusion with Uber Eats, I received a call from Bronuts saying that they were sold out of a couple of the donuts I had ordered. They offered to replace the donuts I ordered with a couple of different ones, which I agreed to; although when I received my order, one of the donuts was not the one I had agreed to as a replacement. At this point I was disappointed that I didn't get something I expected and also paid for something I didn't want, however I was still excited to try some of their donuts. Then when eating their Apple Fritter I noticed that the dough in the middle was raw. Not sure how my experience with this local donut shop could have been worse... On the upside, their espresso chocolate donut was quite good, and the flavours of their apple fritter were on point even though it was undercooked. Bronuts has the potential to be fantastic, but with the errors in my order, customer compensation, and quality control, they have a long way to go.

LeeAnn Cheadle

This place is extremely over-rated. People are mesmerized by the hip vibe and the pretty looking donuts but every donut I've had tastes like nutmeg. I don't think there's any culinary thought put into this product. I just tried the vegan matcha donut and it tastes like the deep fryer with a bunch of sugar. No nuance of matcha or anything else but grease. You would think they would know how to check the oil temp before frying so the inside of the donut is not saturated in oil. Don't waste your money! Expand your horizons and explore better treasures in winnipeg!

Was excited to go there but the choices were not that great I was expecting different and unusual doughnuts not ones I can buy at tims or Robins for half the price. Robins still has the best doughnuts in winnipeg. Fresh or not. Don't waste your money. Sorry guys good concept doing it wrong.

nice donuts, but customer service could be better

Great doughnuts, great coffee, great staff - what's not to like!

In the Google highlights, it says women - led. As far as I understand it is led by 2 brothers, BROnuts. I don't understand.

r bharath

I bought coffee and doughnut combo for $5. The coffee was awful and the doughnut with pistachio and honey was average and unremarkable. I'll be sticking to Tims

Brogan McDougall

If a coffee and donut shop could be my spirit animal this would be it. 3 thumbs up!

R W

These were okay. They are bigger and more dense than Tim’s for your comparison. Staff was very nice. Clean and hip and around $4 for a donut. Lemon Poppyseed and Caramel Popcorn ones VERY/too sweet for my taste. The glaze just tastes like standard icing sugar glaze with some flavourings and a bit gritty. Nice to support local and downtown businesses. Worth the trip to Try it once and decide for yourself. They close early so check before heading out.

Courtney M

Pricey, but the quality is there. I enjoyed the coffee by itself and would consider going there for that alone. The variety of doughnuts is enough to come back a few times to try the newer flavours. Good selection of non-dairy drink options.

David Macumber

Such an amazing little local business that goes above and beyond to make the customers experience perfect! A must try if you are visiting the city or just craving donuts

Paul Prowse

The quality and variation of the doughnuts here is not as high or as wide as Oh Doughnuts! There is more space here than Oh Doughnuts! so you an sit down and enjoy your doughnut and/or coffee. The owners are a young couple and are very friendly. The location is also pretty nice being so close to Old Market Square in the Exchange District. They use Transcend Coffee from Edmonton which is quite good. It often has a nice, well-rounded nutty flavour.

Stephen Peleshaty

Always greeted with a smile no matter who is working. Almost everything seems to be made in house. Love coming here for my morning coffee and the donuts are incredible

j mck

A very hip and trendy place that has a nice design with their donuts displayed under glass. The donuts are good, but not worth the exorbitant cost. I would recommend to try it out for yourself to see if you think they are worth the price.

Naomi Harrison

Nice latte & really friendly staff. Sadly they had sold out of doughnuts by the time I arrived.

The place has a bad greasy smell. It's not comfortable. The prices are high as well.

Ambience? Clean and fine. Staff level of hipster-y-ness? Remarkable. Taste of doughnuts? Awful. I love sweets, and the six that we ordered all had a bite taken for each of us, and were then tossed. They are too strange and not a treat at all. *I* couldn't finish a doughnut? Wacky. Price? Six yucky doughnuts and three good drinks = $29.50

Rob Brown

I enjoyed my coffee and donuts and the location was walking distance with ample parking in the area... Nice to have new ideas like this in our city
