Very cute little place, cozy, and welcoming. My boyfriend and I were on a road trip through BC and Revelstoke was one of our stops. Before we left we stopped and had breakfast at Big Bend Cafe, we were pretty blown away. It was absolutely delicious. I couldn't complain about one thing, we sat at a cute little bar table at the front, we got to look outside enjoy the view while eating our breakfast. The rustic atmosphere is warm and inviting, with only being there once, the experience was so lovely that I had to leave a review and recommend! Thank you kindly, From Alberta.

We were also brought a whole carafe to our table which was awesome. Service was lovely, attentive but not too much! The patio is nice. Pretty shaded. There are two bathrooms inside and you can pay inside as well.

Went here for our Fathers Day breakfast after staying the night in Revelstoke, and we were incredibly disappointed with the service, the food, and the main part especially right now and that's sanitation and cleanliness. Our order was wrong, we were left waiting 20+ mins for ordered drinks, breakfast Cesars were not mixed right and had clumpy hot sauce in it, our food came served on paper plates and after all this we were left wondering what we had actually spent $60 on????

Decided to take the family out to this spot before heading back to Calgary and the food was very good. Portions were quite large, especially for our kids, but we still managed. Atmosphere is perfect for Revelstoke and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I ordered the frittata and my wife had the breakfast bowl. Both were good, nothing overly unique, just great breakfast food. Pancakes that the kids ordered were quite large but most managed to finish. Will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Revelstoke.

Last day in Revy and decided to have breakfast here. Ordered coffees, chorizo chipotle heuvos rancheros and the lumberjack. Service was great, restaurant itself is delightfully kitch with wonderful antiques and old photos, food was fresh and delicious, prices very reasonable, and kickass playlist. Would definitely recommend. Only cons: coffee was meh (although, it is bottomless), dusty cobwebs on light above our table, and no real maple syrup (for a BF joint in Canada, that is a big minus!).

Served by an older man in a grubby T-shirt, shorts and sandals. 4 Degrees outside. He left a carafe of water and a thermos of coffee on the table with no explanation. We assumed that they were part of the breakfast . "Over easy" eggs were black from a dirty grill; home fries were still slightly raw and my wife's "frittata" was so greasy that she had to wipe the utensils with paper napkins. Upon paying we were billed $5.50 extra for 2 cups of coffee. This is what a 'Greasy Spoon' looks like.

Really uncomfortable. Probably the reason why this place was the only restaurant not busy in Revelstoke. Save yourself and wait for a table elsewhere.

Passing through Revelstoke and decided to stop in for a quick bite. As most places were closed to Covid, the Big Bend Cafe was not. First time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The cafe is small but had very good Covid protocols in place. I had the Breakfast sandwich Avocado and Brie on a bagel. It was very tasty, reasonably priced and unexpectedly filling. My friend had the Sandwich version, Avocado, Brie and Tomato on Focaccia with fries. The amount of fries was quite large. Service was attentive with water jugs replenished as needed. Nothing fancy , just great food. Will definitely consider another future visit to try other items on their menu.

This place was not up to par for breakfast. The highlight of breakfast should be coffee. The coffee was very disappointing- lukewarm and weak. The food took quite awhile to come out, strange for standard breakfast fare. I felt like they paid a lot more care about getting orders out to the regulars. My pancake was burnt, disappointing.

The man working was annoyed when we asked for a take out order, even though it's prime COVID time. We confirmed our order twice and even checked again when the receipt did not reflect our order. The man at the register assured us it was fine. We get out on the road, and the sandwiches are wrong... the man working was so dismissive about our concerns and still had our order wrong. Double check your order before hitting the road. Food was tasty, just poor service.
