The food is good, however they need to reevaluate their prices. I paid 17.88 for a macaroon, a handful of salad, and a small portion of chicken pot pie. Some of the food must be home made, however I seen the chicken pot pie taken from the freezer and microwaved.. Will not visit again. Which is unfortunate because the food is tasty! Just too expensive for what you receive.

Love to come here to sit and study. Cozy and great atmosphere. Have some good drinks but are definitely hit and miss. Their drinks are made differently depending on who is working (often completely different ). I love the toffee coffee but has to be the right person! Would be nice for them to ensure they all use the same recipe so that I know what I am paying for.

Apparently nobody there speaks English. I spoke to two people on the phone who couldn’t answer these simple questions: “Do you have outdoor seating?”, “Do you have WiFi?”, and “Do you allow dogs on your patio?” I gave up and decided not to go.

We have been looking for a bakery our whole trip and this was the first one we found that was open on the long weekend. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, she took our order and got everything ready in a very quick period of time. The brownies were soft and delicious, and while the mini pie was nice and flakey. The ambiance was very quaint and cozy.

Nice and cozy atmosphere, with some big couches and benches to relax on with a big cup of tea, or one of thier large assortments of coffee. I ordered the potato and barley soup, which was extremely flavorful and tasted home made! The lady behind the counter was EXTREMELY pleasant and so very nice. I will definitely be coming back here again!

I was wanting to buy some desserts for a friends birthday so I googled 'good bakeries' in town and found Sweet. Their website says 'Not to use Broad Street' (for whatever reason) so I park in the back and trudge through a bunch of snow only to discover there IS parking in the front. I went inside and there wasn't a soul around even though the website and the signage out front says they should be open. So I leave to find another bakery but decide to phone Sweet in case someone was going to be there shortly. A man answers the phone and I ask him if they're going to be open later and he said, 'not today', and I said the website says they're open and he hung up on me! The only thing I'll be telling people about this place is how rude they are - thumbs down!

I ordered a latte with almond milk because I'm nursing and my little one has a milk protein allergy, so I'm off dairy. The latte was good, but after I was 95% done the guy came over to ask me if I noticed the flavor because he forgot to make it with almond milk. He made it with regular milk. Like it was no big deal. I told him I ordered almond milk because of an allergy, he stopped giggling and apologized, but that was it.

I'm from out of town, I wanted to find a bakery/cafe to go to for dessert. Came here on April 13. First impression when we came in, was how incredibly hot it was. It was early evening, it was windy and cool outside. We asked if there was a heating problem and we were advised the owner would not be turning on the AC for another month. My husband looked at the thermostat and it was 28 degrees C. We had to sit on the windy patio, as it was impossible to sit inside because it was so hot! The baked goods were sub-parr. My husband and daughter ordered the Everything cake, it was hard and stale, which is why we were probably given knives with our desserts. I ordered a chocolate caramel tart. The chocolate crust was hard and stale, the "filling" of the tart consisted of caramel sauce squeezed out of a bottle. We also ordered a "chocolate chubby" cookie, also, hard and stale. This was an expensive, very disappointing experience. Save your money and go to one of the chain coffee shops.

Never go back again. We haven't been there for a while, so we went there on Sunday for a meeting. The lady has no English at all who worked in the front! Too difficult to just order a normal tea or a house coffee. It was awkward. Cookies are burned as well. So disappointed.

Twenty minutes after purchasing lattes and sitting down we were told we had to leave because there was a weekly reservation coming in filling the space. Would have been nice to know when we arrived or close the shop to the public.

Food was dry and pretty bland for the price. Salad was terrible and so were the sandwiches. Child was good but not worth the money.. food took 20 minutes to come out. Enjoy their treats and baked goods but definitely think they should stick to that instead of doing meals..

Friendly service but the Shepard’s pie was hot, warm, and cold in different spots. About an hour later I began experiencing an upset stomach and diarrhea. I called them to check on their Shepard’s pie it maybe out dated. The other two people I was with had Chili and they were fine.

No longer a go-to breakfast place. $9 for a bland, cold egg and toast. I would have gotten a better breakfast at a highway gas station diner. This place has gone downhill but the prices have not.

A pleasant place to go for coffee later in the day. We have tried the opening hour when we have been out riding our bikes but they never seem to manage to open when they say they are supposed to so it's just afternoon stops for us.
