Cinnamon buns are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays and is suggested to call ahead to order, you definitely don't want to be disappointed with them all being gone when you arrive! Great atmosphere. I absolutely love the cinnamon buns here. They are a must, for some people they can be a bit too sweet. But I haven’t had a nice cinnamon bun in a long time and Green Spot is a place to go for those fantastic buns. However, you can only get the buns on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also, It’s affordably priced, fresh made and tastes homemade. Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding cinnamon buns. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I was explained some kind of deal by the worker, for cinnamon buns. She made it out like if I buy two bags of them you get a 3rd bag free. I literally asked if that is the deal to make sure. She said yes. I paid and she hands me two bags + 1 free cinnamon bun. It’s a bad deal, so don’t fall for it haha. Especially if you only came for 4 buns in the first place. Either way. Good place to get cinnamon buns.

A gem in Regina. Run by a wonderful family, the Green Spot has been a goto while downtown for years. The Saturday morning cinnamon bun run is a regular and a must try. They are also one of the few places in the city that roast their own beans if you are a home gamer coffee fan as they sell beans too. Their new location is top notch, and it's a pleasure to see a great business grow.

Let there be no doubt, once you have tried one of their cinnamon buns you are hooked! The best I have every had. My family and I always make a point to grab them when fresh (Wednesday and Saturdays I believe?). The smell of the fresh buns and coffee is a bonus in winter. The new location is great!

Really expensive for what you get, surprisingly poor coffee, even though i do like the vegetarian menu, a $10 sandwich should include a side. Even the quiche comes with a side oddly enough. Also the regular staff can be persistant in trying to sell you stuff when you’ve made clear what you want. The coffee is sub-par tastes watered down

From a humble beginning this place grew up and expanded during the years. I used to go to this place when he was a small little cafe in downtown and love their pastries and drinks. Let me paint you a picture. It's a Wednesday morning, and you are walking down the Hamilton Street. You notice the aroma of cinnamon buns slowly pulling you in to Green Spot Café; you just cannot resist it. As you enter, the sign greets you, "A Great Day Starts Here." You know that it will be since you catch a glimpse of glistening cinnamon buns ahead waiting for you to order it. I think that is usually is the case every cinnamon bun days (Wednesdays & Saturdays) because people are lining up for it; it really is that worth it. One of the great aspects of the café is that they are really hands-on. They roast their coffee beans, and you can buy them too (whole bean or ground of your choice). The food products are homemade (from cinnamon buns, cheesecakes, muffins, to the lunch items etc). As well, the baristas are friendly. The place itself is bright and well-lit with a touch of a modern vibe, as it is located in the downtown area. I would say that the café is ideal for cute dates, a group hangout, or for studying alone (wifi for your internet needs).

Signs and awards everywhere saying best cinnamon bun and wouldn’t you know it, we came on Wednesday, the only day they have them. And holy s*%#, they are WELL WORTH any qualms you have. I wouldn’t normally have pastries for breakfast but these looked still warm and gooey and did not disappoint. Hands down the best, fluffiest, crunchy on the bottom, gooey on the top, buttery, caramel-y cinnamon I’ve ever had. Also had a blueberry bran muffin (delicious) and americanos (also up there). If you’re in Regina, go here.

There is a very nice atmosphere here and the workers are very kind. It can be busy some days, but it is always handled well. Their cinnamon buns are amazing, but they are only sold on Wednesday and Saturday so I suggest getting there early.

This place is really packed. I came to do some work and have a latte. So I'm speaking for only the latte. Its mediocre at best, very generic. It is obvious that they do not specialise in crafting coffee based beverages. So the main draw is obviously the food. The decor is quite modern, simple and clean. There seem to never be enough room to sit and chill.
