We stopped in for a coffee break during a walk through of Old Quebec. The place was clean, service was quick and friendly and coffee was good with reasonable prices. I didn't feel the overall atmosphere was anything spectacular - but it was a good, solid coffee shop. I would frequent this establishment if visiting Old Quebec again.

Soooo friendly!!! Crepes authentiques and the cappuccinos were just perfect. It took a while as they were busy but they told us right away which we appreciated because we went for a quick walk instead of waiting at the table. Super reccomended!!!

Ordered a cup of hot chai latte and an almond croissant here for breakfast. Almond croissant was to die for, but the chai was pretty bland. It was not as thick and aromatic as Starbuck's. Seems like they just threw in a chai teabag and added some warm milk. I would stay with the pastries and crepes here.

Ordered the bangers and mash. The mash was cold and very lumpy. The sausages were a mix of a very dry spicy sausage and pork sausage filled with cheese. Not a good combination. My partner had the fish and chips. Soggy chips and a very small piece of fish. One consolation the beer was cold.

We ate here twice in 2 days. This is a great place for popping in for a little snack, like a chocolatine or a cookie. The staff is very friendly and bilingual. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is comfy and chill.

Diverse menu options, I ordered the La Classique crepe which was excellent. As an American I usually don’t order food with ham in it but if you typically don’t like American ham I would definitely try crepes with ham in them! The ham is not watery or too sweet like the ham back at home. If you like a heavier more dessert like breakfast, the La Authentique (Nutella, banana, and whipped cream crepe) was sweet and filling. The Le Champetre had fluffy eggs and was also very good. The highlight here was the avocado/smoked salmon toast. It came on a delicious white flatbread with oats in it. If you’re looking for a taste of Quebec with options that are familiar to tourists and room to sit down I would highly recommend Baguette & Chocolate!!

Best crepes I’ve ever had. I tried crepes in different parts of the U.S., in Toronto and Montreal, but at this place I believe they cook the most authentic, European style dough, very thin and soft. The taste is close to a Russian version of crepes called blinz. Amazing! Also people working here are quite nice and friendly.

I went in expecting great things from this quaint little cafe in Quebec City and was severely disappointed. The service was fine but the food and drinks were awful. I spent $15 on two chai lattes and an almond croissant... I suggest going to Tim Hortons and spending less and getting better quality. The chai lattes were essentially milk with a hint of chai to them while the croissant might have been good if it was fresh but had been sitting all day and had become soggy and stale. As stated earlier, extremely disappointed due to the extreme prices and the fact that we were on a day trip and you often expect more.

I am not a coffee drinker; the owner painstakingly shared his experiences with coffee and absolutely insisted I try an espresso...on the house. I did, and it was fantastic! I returned every day for a double shot. Pastries are exquisite and well worth the cost. When I return to Quebec City, I will definitely be stopping here! Friendly and very welcoming staff.

I have visited Quebec City 3 times in my life and have consistently come here because their espresso and hot chocolate is the best I've ever had (and each set of people I have traveled with agree). Great place to catch a break from the frigid outdoor temperatures! We ordered a dirty chai, bretzel and a regular coffee and they were all delicious. The dirty chai was flavorful but not over-the-top heavy with an additional espresso shot. The bretzel is something that we’ve never had before which was a pretzel-shaped pastry with Nutella and crushed hazel nuts. We would definitely order this again. The staff was friendly and conversational, the prices were fine and the quality was great. We’ll be back!

Crowded place with few employees, the waiting line is long and they have only one cash open. I purchased two drinks, coffee for myself and chai latte for my wife. the chai taste just milk and water (n'importe quoi!!!), just a waste of money. Slow service. Could be better.

Great place for a good coffee or hot chocolate. There's plenty of room, tables, the food and beverages are delicious. You can also buy souvenirs here and mapple products. Strongly recommend it.

The staff asked me the percentage that I would tip before he gave me the machine; like 5 percent or 10 percent. I feel like he did this specifically because I’m asian and assumed that I would not tip. I saw the other staff not ask other customers about whether they would tip or not.

Best gelato I've ever had(you gotta try the mango)! Great selection of both gelato and sorbet at reasonable prices. I didn't try their pastries....but they looked amazing! They also have a good sitting area with ample tables and a couple couches. Normal cafe noise but nothing too bothersome. Ill definitely be coming back sometime to try their pastries and coffee.

Excellent place for a quick bite. Although the place is famous for deserts, they have excellent sandwiches, soups and salads. We had couscous salad and I have never tasted anything like it. Their tuna sandwich place is great. Love the place and will definitely go next time I am in Quebec. Prices are very reasonable too.
