How can a burger be so delicious?! The K.I.C. burger was absolutely loaded!! Inordered mine with a mouthwatering side of tomato basil soup. My wife had a side of fries with gravy. All of it was great. This is a really unsuspecting spot. Don't let the decor deceive you, the food outdoes any trendy big-city burger joint. Just watch out for the well earned food coma that follows :-)

The best place to get a soup and sandwich for lunch in Prince Rupert. The staff are very friendly, and the food, no matter what you get, is always excellent. Highly recommend!

My aunt took me to lunch at kaien island cafe I got the Ultimate B.L.T and the split pea and ham soup it was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly!

I was given a clam chowder soup and garlic toast from here. It was awesome. It is now my fav place I went back got more. I look forward to trying other items from the menu.

As mentioned previously, small place and dont be stressed how it looks like. It is clean and they cook and prepare fantastic meals (sandwiches). We had clam chowder with sandwich and it was fantastic. Sadly we are not from the area so we cannot go there often, but it would be definitely my fav place to go as I am soup lover. Dont forget your mask before entering and you could dine in or take away the food.
