Just moved here from Vancouver Island two months ago. Been frequenting Samuel's to get some studying and reading done. The Coffee is great, the staff are nice and it's always very clean. Also they forgot my order for about 5 minutes and they gave me a free medium specialty drink on them. Take it as a win or a loss, I count that as a win.

Have gone here several times. The atmosphere is great - a bit loud at times if you are trying to relax. However a busy place is a good sign of a successful business. The hot and cold beverages are fantastic, my personal favorite was the hot chocolate!. The food is very tasty with a descent selection. The prices are fair for the quality of food and beverages being offered. "A" i will go again - especially good for meetings!!

Great little coffee house, lots of home baked treats to have with your coffee. Our barista helped me find a dairy free/soy free treat to accommodate my allergies. She and another manager even pulled out a huge binder that had the list of ingredients for all the foods so I could double check my choice. I had some delicious cookies that happened to also be gluten free

Was in this morning for a less than good experience. The coffee was great, but dry meatballs in a sandwich that was beat in flavour by the coleslaw that was served with it was pretty disappointing. Top it off with a mildly rude cashier and you end up with a mediocre experience. I'll be back for your coffee, but not much else.

My $15.00 lunch was a ladle of soup, a 1/2 cup of cold rice, 2 thin slices of pickled red onion and a tablespoon of sour cream. I asked for soya sauce to go with my rice...they wanted an extra 60 cents. I was still hungry when I left. Will never go again ever...nice atmosphere but how can a cafe/restaurant charge for soya sauce. I felt disgusted and sad at the same time

Incredible atmosphere in this place. Painted brick walls, really rustic and modern at the same time. Different levels to be seated but all ground floor, feels really cool that way, not very common on PEI. Got a london fog, done really well, and my friend ordered a cookies and cream fog which was really good he said. They also sell pastry and have sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Cheaper than Starbucks !

Dirty kitchen, broken dishwasher (doesnt sanitize)and cranky head-staff, ruined my experience and wouldn't recommend.

The environment and decor is great the location is easily walkable from the town's core. The tables are layed out reasonably with good space between tables. The coffee was freshly brewed and beans didn't tasted like they were roasted well (no burnt taste). Staff were quick and nice. The sandwiches were very taste with a good ratio of veggies egg and meat although points off for being kind small. If you are looking for breakfast in the area you'd be hard pressed to find better.
