Located close to the airport. The decoration theme certainly fits the location, but since most of us attand restaurants for food rather than decor, let's talk turkey. Food is pretty much like home made and portions are fair just like their prices. Opens early. Place is clean and well run; you can tell the owner's eye is on the business at hand. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Lots of local regular clients. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Highly recomend this place if you care more about what you eat rather than where. Just because you are mesmerized by ocean vew and willing to pay premium $$$ for what you eat not necessarily reflects food and service quality. Food for thought.

Definitely one of a kind cafe with aircraft specific theme: full of different kinds of aircrafts paintings, models, maps, toys, etc. It seems like this cafe is quite popular among locals, especially males in their 50-60s. It also a meeting place for the local Rotary Club members. Anyhow, locals were extremely friendly and social. Café was full and waitress worked alone, so we had to wait for a while, but we did not mind as the surrounding was quite fascinating. PROS: impressive aircraft/airport theme inside. CONS: food was not the main attraction there. And paying $30 for a quick "eggs and bacon" breakfast for two of us was a bit pricy, I think.

It is possible that this establishment is permenently closed as no notices appear on the windows or locked doors! It was a busy little breakfast place frequented by locals. It's hard to believe they couldn',t make a go of it. Although like many businesses they suffered the pains of constant price creep, perhaps making it to expensive for their core supporters.

I walked into this place and was instantly wowed. Planes hanging EVERYWHERE! Great pricing for food. I ordered the CORSAIR which was a hand written addition to the menu. It came with hashbrowns(cubed or shredded), 2 eggs, farmer sausage and 6 perogies. From order to table took aboot 10 mins. It came out hot and oh boy was it delicious! Best breakfast in town!

I have had the pleasure of eating at Julie's Airport Cafe a few times now, and make it a point to stop there whenever I'm back in Powell River. From the moment you walk in it is both inviting and creative! Many interesting and beautiful items to admire, for all ages! The menu is imaginative with catchy names that follow Julie's airport theme. The great service and delicious food completes a satisfying and fun experience, that is more than worth the visit! Me and my wife went in to share a Beef Dip. The waitress made no mention that patrons aren’t allowed sharing a meal. It doesn’t make any sense that you can’t share a meal with someone. Anyway, our order was taken and our food was served. No one checked if our food was ok or if we needed any refills on our drinks. It wasn’t very busy there but we received no follow up service. We go to pay and we were told we can’t share meals and were charged for two half orders. I won’t be going back. People should be told when they’re ordering and not charged without being informed

Was recommended by hotel staff when I asked for the best breakfast in town and we were not disappointed! Very happy we tried it, the service was excellent, food was fresh and everything cooked spot on. It was exactly what we were looking for and next time we are in Powell River we will definitely be back and recommend to others????

Excellent little restaurant. There was a lot of variety on the menu. Service was top notch and fast. I had a half portion mayday breakfast, and hubby had the wingman. The food tasted good and was hot, staff substituted eggs for sliced tomatoes for me. The place is decorated with lovely Ariel items,pictures, maps and information, yet it is not cluttered. The staff were sanitizing tables etc and following covid procedures. A little pricey, but worth it for the food, atmosphere, service and experience.
