Anne and Savon Du Bois have been a wonderful addition to Picton and The Armoury! They stock great zero waste alternatives, have a soap dispensary station, and tons of essential oils. I have participated in one of Anne's bath bomb workshops and throughly enjoyed it!

This needs to become one of your go-to shops when you visit the town of Picton. The store owner Anne started out wanting to improve the health of her family and began making her own soaps at home. This snowballed into the amazing store we visited today with lines of men's grooming products, bath bombs, and more. She hosts many local artists and designers products in-store and runs classes where you can learn some of her techniques. The smell of lavender permeates the air and leaves you feeling relaxed as you browse all of the local wares and pick up a tea or coffee on the way out from their cafe. Will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough about this business. Slowly making the change to a more sustainable lifestyle, I had reservations because I love my fragrant drug store soaps, etc. But Savon Du Bois really sets the bar. Their Vacation in Provence Soap Bar is life changing. Smells WONDERFUL and leaves your skin soft as silk. This business is so much for than soaps and scrubs, though. Aromatherapy, sustainable products for your home, products safe for infants and pets, the excellent Tea & Coffee Bar, and Anne, the owner and an absolute superstar of a human being. She's extremely knowledgeable and personable and very good at what she does. Always a wonderful experience every time I shop there. If you're in the County, you need to make this a stop along the way! I promise you will be back.

We wandered into this zero-waste refillery and lifestyle store in downtown Picton on a Saturday morning during holiday season. Delighted to find many products I've grown to know and love in my personal zero-waste journey, I was exceptionally excited by all the home-made products that owner Anne has developed for her loyal client base. The gorgeously designed and meticulously curated store has all the right products to help you transition to a lifestyle free of disposables and single-use cleaning staples. Special shout out to the many options you can use your own container/bag/jar to fill. Anne mentioned to us that during the pandemic lockdown, it has been especially difficult to bring in reusable (such as glass/aluminum) containers suitable for her to offer her customer base, to fill with her bulk products (see photo). You're encouraged to bring in your own, that's part of the biggest zero-waste lifestyle transition: BYOC! Bring prepared is always a great way to save on single-use and REFUSE to produce more waste. Even if we recycle, we still save more energy and resources by re-using any container multiple times. Kudos to Anne for sourcing the best local products available, and also providing an excellent selection of fair-trade and female-run small businesses from abroad. I'll be back again, next time we are in Picton!

I didn't buy any soap here but the coffee was unexpectedly amazing! I had a shot of vanilla syrup (handmade by the owner) which added just the right amount of flavour to an already amazing cappuccino!
