Made a point to stop by this place during our visit to PEC just from the great google reviews - and it did not disappoint! I got the francaise crepe and it was AMAZING - I would go back and get the same thing again. My only warning would be this place closes at 3PM and frequently runs out of their top sellers long before they close. I would go early if you had your heart set on something! The workers were very friendly as well.

I ADORED the veggie crepe with vegan batter and balsamic from this place! Every ingredient tasted so fresh and flavourful, it is simply delicious. They also have vegan sweet crepes, and you could easily customize other crepes to make them vegan too. A must-try for vegan options in the county! The atmosphere in this place is beautiful too! Frankly of all the places in Picton this is a mandatory visit. Frankly the best crepes I've ever had made in a very unique way. Tons of very unique and traditional recipes, from savory, to sweet to even breakfast crepes. Taco crepe was by far the most pleasantly surprising in my opinion. This place deserves your business so give them a look if you ever stop by here in this small town. Just be sure to check the hours of operation because I stayed for a week for a construction business trip in the winter off season but it was closed on certain days.

We stopped here for brunch and ordered 3 crepes - Breakfast Francaise, Kalimera, and the Country Breakfast. All three of them were delicious, but we all agreed that the Francaise was the most unique and yummy with its white wine cream sauce. We stopped here because we needed gluten free options for my husband who is a celiac and all of their crepes can be made with buckwheat. Currently, they are only offering take-out with an option to dine on their outdoor patio if space permits. We came on a slightly drizzly day on a long weekend and it took about 25 minutes for our order. They do recommend ordering on the phone in advance as well (see their site for the menu and the contact info). The service was friendly and we would go back again. It looked like everything was plastic free here too with biodegradable cutlery and paper straws. Nice to see them try to be sustainable. Definitely will visit again!

On a short vacation away, we visited Crepe Escape for breakfast, based on positive reviews online. We were not disappointed at all! We actually went back the next morning for the same savioury breakfast crepe. We often thinking about it when morning comes. We were in town for the weekend and stopped here for breakfast. When we walked in, we seriously second guessed staying. The place is devoid of warmth and makes me think of the word plastic. That being said, we were already there - so we ordered and were pleasantly surprised with the food. The crepes were a good size and were really flavorful. Water served in plastic cups and crepes served on plastic plates, but the quality is definitely there. On Sunday morning the dining room was almost empty and I can't help but think that if they put more thought and care into the feel and ambiance this place would be filled up.

Crepe escape has awesome products...don't get me wrong. Up to today I've recommended them dozens of times. Unfortunately they have recently made a business decision to cease offering Gluten AND Dairy free options, which means my family can no longer go to Crepe Escape as several people in our family are sensitive to BOTH and not just EITHER. Up to a few weeks ago we loved going to Crepe Escape, and we did so several times a month. However, we were told today they no longer offer an option for people with BOTH allergies, only EITHER. I wish Crepe Escape all the best as I love to promote local businesses but until my entire family can eat there then none of us will eat there, nor will I continue to recommend you. I recognize we make up a tiny portion of your business but please reconsider this business decision.

My daughter and I visited The Crepe Escape last weekend. It is a small place with limited seating, too bad they didn't settle on a larger place, they were turning people away at one point. First to the crepes. They were delicious. My daughter had "The Classic" with nutella and strawberries (she asked for no banana). Delicious. I had "The Française" with chicken and a lovely cream sauce. It was wonderful as well. As good as any crepe I have had in Paris. Savory crepes are usually served with a buckwheat crepe, not a sweet, but it was still delicious. My only negative part about our experience is with the person behind the cash. When we sat down to wait for our crepes (you order and pay at the counter and then they bring them to you), there were only two tables available. One was in a corner with two sides against a wall, with only one chair, clearly set for only one person. The other was a table for four. We sat at the table for four. The person from the cash came over after a few minutes and in a loud accusing voice said, "We CAN'T have only two people at a table for four when we are THIS busy! You will have to move to another table." I told her that we had looked at the table for one but it only had one chair. She said, "well take one from this table!" I didn't mind moving. They were getting a crowd in and we totally understood. But the WAY she told us. How about, in a low quiet voice, "I'm sorry, but we are really busy, would you mind moving to this other table? Here, let me get an extra chair for you." A few minutes later a couple sat down at the table for four. I waited for "Miss Sunshine" to come and tell them to move, but she didn't. Not even when a family with two kids came in and were told they would have to wait 40 min. for a table. They asked if they could sit at the counter by the window (only two chairs) and were told "sure". So they squeezed in there. Not sure why the couple wasn't told to move to the two person counter so the family could sit at the table. So bottom line, LOVED the crepes, HATED the attitude of the counter person. Totally affected our enjoyment of the meal which was worth five stars, not the three I ended up giving. Hope the management reads this.

The crepes were delicious! I had the ham and swiss and everything was perfect from presentation to the deliciousness of the house sauce. My only suggestion is that they need better coffee. The coffee wasn't bad but I expected speciality coffee at a crepe place. I think having a barista serving expressos and lattes would give this a 5 star rating. Worth going for the crepes alone though.

My wife and visit whenever we get down to Picton. Every time we walk through the door we are greeted within seconds by the family, instantly setting the tone for the visit. The space itself is cozy and tastefully decorated with local artists work, its a really cool place just to chill out. For roughly $50.00 we have 4 crepes (dinner + desert for 2) drinks and tip. The food is next level, offering fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Their butter chicken crepe is to die for and our personal favorite! PLUS THEY ARE OPENING UP IN BELLEVILLE!!! Best of luck to the family ... and my waist line!

Finally got around to visiting Crepe Escape in Picton today. Now we wish we hadn't taken so long. The ham and cheese with asparagus and the scrambled egg and cheese were amazing. We were so reminded of time spent in Paris. More indoor seating than we had expected and the staff are terrific....helpful. attentive and charming. If we could suggest anything, a wee bit of greens on the side would be a nice add. Definitely a destination point for us now.

Recently popped in for breakfast and had a wonderful time. The crepes were really delicious, I forget what my crepe was called but it had potato, egg, bacon, cheese, and syrup and it was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Amazing food and great customer service. I've tried a few of their savoury crepes and they've all been delicious. Best food I've had in Picton. They use environmentally friendly containers and cutlery when ordering for take out.

The best crepes we've had in a long time! Excellent service, lovely lady who helped us. Definitely recommend the all day breakfast crepe with either maple syrup or the Dijon sauce! Yum!

I’m picky with my food choices, and find most restaurant-food lacking - in terms of balancing quality, freshness, nutrition, deliciousness and price. But this place knocks it out of the park, on all of these criteria!! And the space itself is lovely and comfortable to sit in, with very pleasant, warm service. Went with hubby today, who had the Country Breakfast, while I had the Francaise. Loved them both! We live in Toronto, and make regular visits to my in-laws, who are just outside of Picton. We will be making a tradition of stopping here, each time we’re in town - thank you, Crepe Escape, for such a lovely experience!!

We stopped at crepe escape after we had a big dinner. I was afraid I won't have the appetite for a heavy dessert so I split one order with my hubby. The crepe was not heavy or too much at all. It was the perfect combination of soft and crunchy at the edge and the fruits were so fresh. I loved that tgey served the maple syrup on the side so I can put as much as I wanted. I highly recommend it if you are craving a dessert without a guilt :)

First the location is perfect. Main part of Picton in an Armoury building that oooozes character. The service was great. The food, even better. If you want savoury crepes, they are a good choice. However, we came for the sweet. Oh how yummy. They prepare it in front of you and that only serves to tantalizing your taste buds. Anyway, it was a great experience. I do have a few suggestions for the owners. First, switch from Breyers to Kawartha Dairy or a more local ice cream. It tastes better anyway. Second, up your tea/coffee game. A PC chai tea bag, although tastes good, takes a little of the niche out of the experience. You don't need to be a coffee house, but slightly above Timmies or Mc Ds. Other than those pidly little suggestions, I love the place, and will be back.

Amazing crepes! I'm usually not a fan because the batter they use makes the crepes too stretchy. We had a savory and a sweet crepe both done on the regular crepe batter (they have alternate options for GF) and they were the best crepes we've had to date. I had the Butter Chicken with medium spice and it was perfect. I also appreciated that the disposable cutlery was wooden! Lots of attention to minor details!

Fantastic meal. Ordered the butter chicken and the flavor was great. Only issue was that the wooden spoons they use are pretty flimsy, although they're great for the environment ????. Prices are quite cheap for the quality of food you get and I would definitely come back.

They randomly decided to not take orders and did not give a reason why. The lady working the cash register just closed the window and ran off chasing another customer who asked why they weren't taking orders. Very disappointed and will not be going again. Unprofessional behaviour

I think we first ate at a Belleville location. We had the "French toast" crepe and scrambled egg, asparagus, swiss and dijon sauce. Delish!, Visiting Prince Edward County I made sure to visit the Pictn location to get another fix of the asparagus ones. Just a yummy. If only they had a local closer to Toronto I be there more often.

Cute little restraint with amazing staff and possibly the best crepes! The staff was charming and nice and even served us at our table. The crepes were well made, delicious and filling!

Very tasty and high quality ingredients, but I had to take a star off because the wooden knives and forks they provided were pretty non-functional. It made eating the crepes feel like work. I can appreciate using sustainable alternatives, but we were not a fan of these. To the owners, if you're reading - it would be great to have a couple on-the-go style crepes for those who are looking for that (like a crepe wrap, maybe in tin foil instead of a box). We were hoping to eat these on the road.
