I always like browsing for books here when I'm in Picton. There are very few independent bookshops left so it's important we help keep these alive. I purchased three books from Invisible Publishing - Books and Company had a wonderful selection, difficult to choose just three. They have a good selection of magazines and they also have many gift ideas.

Wonderful little store, a must explore ! I have even had them order items for me. I live out of town, and they held the items until my next visit. The staff here is courteous, informative, and love what they do. Something for everyone! Including craft supplies for you artsy types. ???? I stop by each time im in the area.

They have the best variety of books and music I have ever seen. I picked up a 1st edition book from here that I have been trying to find for +10 years. It was reasonably priced, too. On top of that, the music they sold here was some of the most obscure Canadian independent artists that most of the major record stores aren't carrying. Even if you are not looking for anything in particular, I feel like you'll be able to find something you want here.

I enjoy grabbing a coffee from Lily’s next door and then shopping for a fun book or whatever else I can find at this book store. But unfortunately the over reactive covid restrictions has put an end to that. Hopefully it will change soon. I do enjoy shopping here though. And that resident kitty is adorable!????????

Wide selection of books for all ages. My last visit, they were even selling LGBTQ books. They even sell puzzles and games. Right next door there is a cafe so if your feeling a bit hungry or thirsty, your problem is solved. I personally love this store. If I could, I would spend a whole day here looking at all the books and deciding which one to buy. Overall a great store and I cant wait till the next time I visit this store!

This is my favourite bookstore. They have a resident cat and allow dogs in the store. Oh, and they have a great selection of books, including a section by local authors. If you’re looking for a book and they don’t have it they will order it for you. In addition to books they have the best card selection in the region, lots of games, puzzles, and other small gifts.

High end book store in the picturesque town of Picton, Ontario. Wide range of new books in a variety of genres. A RBC ATM is conviently located on-site, and the store has a direct entrance to the coffee shop adjacent to it. Nice place to stop and shop but a bit pricey.

A visit to Books and Company has become a summer tradition. The staff is very friendly, including the store cat. The selection of Canadian/local independent published books is impressive as is their selection of jigsaw puzzles! We're always sure to pick something up when we're in town; books, special gifts or puzzles.

Lovely shop with an attached cafe, very good, friendly service. The book shop has several spots you can sit a spell and leaf through your favourite book. Or just relax in the cafe with a good cup of java.

A pretty big bookstore for a small town, like this was 1988. Lots of other items (e.g puzzles) that might help pass the time at the cottage. A nice cafe is attached.

Like a lot of places in Picton, this store has a well curated selection of items; both local and worldly, high and also less than high brow reading material, puzzles, vinyl records, children's items, magazines and on and on. It's easy to lose several hours just hanging around leafing through all the wonderful things to read. Truly worth a visit every time you're in the area.
