Great service, and better food/beer. They were full up when I showed to grab a seat in the patio, and the servers took my number and called right away when there was seating available. The beer was phenomenal, and the pizza I ordered came super quickly, thanks to that very hot wood fired stone oven. Had the number 8. Pesto with spinach and lemon pepper chicken, with sundried tomatoes. It was pretty delightful.

It was a busy Wednesday and everybody including us had to wait 45-60 mins, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. This place has shown to be super popular. From the tasty pizzas they offer, including gluten free crust, their beer was outstanding. I bought take out cans of the Footprint IPA! Delicious. Also, dogs are allowed on their patio. Staff is super nice!

Excellent service and great selection of in house craft beers. We ordered a salad and drinks to start and they were both out within a minute or two. Shortly after that we ordered a stone baked pizza and that was also out faster than we'd had even half of the salad! Sunday they had a guy named Tony playing piano and guitar cover songs plus a few from his own album, if you see he's going to be playing pop in and enjoy!

Our sever was Tara and it was because of her recommend that we went to visit. She was excellent , friendly and attentive! Matt was great, knowledgeable and friendly. Went here for a snack, 6 people. Ordered 2 pizzas (they are barely enough for 2 for lunch if you had a small something else like a salad but not enough for dinner) and a very small snack plate. 2 pops and 4 beers. Bill was almost $100. There was a small deal for students but they only accept student cards. I asked if logging into my student account would suffice and the waitress told me to "suck it". The food was tasty but there was no where near enough for the cost.

As a restaurant owner I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the beer and food. The Dill Pickle and Blue Cheese Pizza blew us away. I never eat pizza crust and I devoured every crumb. We also had a pitcher of "The Witness" it was a great light white beer with nice hints of citrus. Completely complimented the pizza.. They took great precautions on the pandemic on the patio and made us feel safe. Can't wait to revisit for full service..

Very poor service. Food came very late. 30 minute wait for chips and guac? Pizza was 1 hour. A full 30 minutes after a table next to us who arrived after us. No explanation. I'm almost upset that the food was pretty tasty. This is a rating for the front end staff.

Wow the butter chicken pizza was amazing, especially with the suggested banana peppers! We love the crew here, their pizzas, beers and even the secret hopped cider. Delicious crusts to compliment the wood fired oven, and best gluten free that we’ve had. Highly recommended!

Great patio, pizza review time, I have very high standards so this is going to hurt. 4 out of 10 for the cheese pizza, sauce, crust and cheese were all taste cheap. I can get a $13 margaritta pizza that tastes world class many places, if they go try some delivious pizzas and work on their crust sauce and cheese this place could be great but for me the pizza is mediocre.

So happy we found this place! After traveling through PEC and eating nothing but tapas for two days, I was starting to get a little hungry. You know that feeling when you just want to indulge in something with substance? I was absolutely thrilled to open the menu and see a no-nonsense menu, just beer and pizza. Hell yeah my kind of place. Pizza was incredible and the beer was top notch. The serving size is perfect for 1 and will give you a slice or 2 left over for you to keep enjoying the day after. Better service here with super friendly staff than most 5 star dining restaurants I've been to. 1000/10 would recommend.

Wonderful selection of beers to try! Pizza and other menu items are not cheap, and aren't especially great (go to Prince Edward Pizza down the street for pizza in Picton, imo), but that's not the point of this institution. Great atmosphere, ok food, and great service.

Beer tasted good, nice ambience. But the pizza was miserable, tasteless, unevenly spread sauce and cheese Also, the pizza was watery and soggy in the centre. Part 2 I was trying to be nice, I was there because i was starving and wanted to try some good local food. I did not asked for water as a topping, is it like a complimentary topping? I highly recommend this restaurant. First and foremost, the service was impeccable. Lall staff were kind and professional. Secondly, the pizza was top notch. It started with a beautifully crispy crust. Fresh basil and top quality mozzarella took us to the next level. The sauce however brought me back to Italy itself. Best Pizza I've had in Canada. I highly recommend taking time and dining here. Their beer was great as well.

I think the pricing is pretentious of good pizza but with the oven and whole image I was expecting decent woodfire pizza. Instead I got what appeared to be a frozen crust with decent toppings cooked in a wood fire oven running at low temp. Marrying into a large Italian family I have tried awesome woodfire pizza with decent dough and cook time is like 2 mins as oven is insanely hot. I have it a 3 as they make an awesome beer!! So pizza was a 1 as it was like Costco pizza warmed up at home but beer was a 5!! Service was really good. Team aims to please. So again, fix the pizza issue and we are there as a 5 star! The quantity and quality were way over priced and really bad. I'd love to see this place be a real player as they have a lot of other stuff going!

No smiles no greetings, nothing to make you want to buy anything there. After a couple of minutes in this shop you want to run screaming from the joint. I visited 555 at the beginning of the month during a visit to Picton with my partner. Our Airbnb host recommended it and it was only a short walk from her place. The atmosphere was great. We sat on the outside patio that had wooden benches and string lights. Our server was very friendly and gave us recommendations, as we were unsure of what to order. We got the pesto, spinach, chicken, lemon preserve, sun-dried tomatoes & chèvre pizza (god that was a mouthful), as well as the east coast garlic fingers. Both were pretty good. Pizza was a little small for the price but tasted great. We both got a tasting flight, which is perfect if you want to try several varieties. We tried The Jury, The Witness, County Secret, and Jail Cell. I'm not too fond of beer, but this place totally changed my perception of it! I guess there's more to life than Molson and PBR. They were also playing some great tunes (The Shins, Phoenix, Matt & Kim, etc.) Great place for a younger crowd but there were older people there too. Definitely coming back if I ever find myself in Picton again :-)

Went a bit earlier in the evening to beat the dinner rush and got seated no-problem. Hostess explained their COVID safety measures and I really appreciate the lengths they go to! Much safer than other restaurants I've been to. Menu is short and sweet. My partner is a bartender and enjoyed his beer - so much that he ordered a second one of the same, instead of trying another. I had the cider and it was very light, and refreshing. We ordered different pizzas and the smoked duck with brie is AMAZING. My partner loved his pizza, as well. We meant to take leftovers home but we both finished our pizzas there, so... it was just that good! Not to mention the gender neutral bathrooms. The signs are fantastic. Great service, felt safe, friendly environment, good food and tasty brews. 10/10 would drive from Toronto to come back again!

Delicious pizza, good drinks, and an overall nice patio in downtown Picton. We had a small wait when we arrived but they called us as soon as a table opened. Their service was friendly and fast. My friends had the duck and chicken pizzas which they enjoyed. They commented on their liking of the crust as well. For me, I am vegan and avoid gluten, so I had their vegan pesto pizza with vegan Parmesan and gluten free crust and it was extremely tasty. Very flavorful and well seasoned. I really enjoyed the pizza. Highly recommend!!

Always blown away by the unique beer and pizza offering like a Gruit Sour I just picked up, or the deliciously drinkable Judge Lager. Great beer, and completely worth a drop in if your in downtown picton and want to support a local craft brewery. All the passion of the microbrewery, with outdoor seating and quick pickup options if your on the go!

Pizza undercooked, 1.5 hour long wait, server had attitude, cheap on the toppings, ordered pizza with bacon and didn’t get any bacon. Lager beer was pretty good. Pizza was flavourless. Thankfully we got a pretzel so we had mustard to dip the pizza in for some flavour.

10/10! We had a fantastic time at 555. We were doing a mini brew tour of the county and we couldn’t have been happier with 555! Best pizza I think I’ve ever had (and I am a GF person.) Our server was LOVELY and I noticed she even wrote that I was celiac on her notepad- if you are celiac you know how much that means! My husband had a flight of 5 different beers and enjoyed them all. I had a cider and it was delicious! My husband also loved his pizza. We will be back!

The two beers I tried were smooth and went down well. The Pink beer had a wonderfully citus flavour that was grapefruity without having any grapefruit in it! The oil oil pizza was done perfectly and was tasty. The starter nachos were not worth ordering as everything came out of a bag or jar. Service was good but not speedy. If you want quick, go to the McDonald's just down the road.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at 555! Our server Nicole was the absolute sweetest, when we inquire about the name 555, she shared the story with us and it totally convinced us to buy some merch! What an interesting history! We shared two gluten free pizzas and they were amazing number 5 and 6! Yum! I had a flight of cider as I am GF and my husband had a pint of the judge and we enjoyed all of it! Definitely worth a visit!

The atmosphere is very nice and the beer is quite good! After a few rounds of drinks we settled up but quickly decided to grab a takeout pizza to bring with us. The waitress asked us to leave and to come back for the pizza which was unexpected after just spending quite a bit of money on drinks, wouldn’t have minded staying at our table. Pizza wasn’t the highlight of the day it was undercooked and a tad bland but did the job.

Came here on a recommendation from a random local when we were looking for a dog friendly place to eat. The servers and staff were VERY friendly and accommodating to our puppy. Their pizza is really good! Order came out fresh without a long wait except for when we needed another pizza and when we needed to pay. But we didnt mind because we had happy tummies. The pizza is rather thin as expected for a wood fire pizza, 1 layer is good for 1 person who has a big appetite. Selection of pizza has wide variety from simple to vegetarian to sophistication like blue cheese on yiur pizza. I placed 1 star as for a brewery they did not have any cans to go for the beers they serve. We were from out of town so we hoped we could have a bit more taste of the beers they brew. Otherwise superb!

Ordered a flight to try all 6 beers and 1 cider on bar list. The order was served in good time. We ordered a pizza when the flight was delivered. We waited 70 min after ordering, never received the pizza nor did we get asked if we wanted to place another drink order. We sat for 20 to 25 min with out any beverages. Eventually going inside to pay when no bill was offered.

My wife and I shared another great meal at 555 Brewing Co. again on our trip to the County. On Friday night after arriving we were looking for something light and tasty and decided to return to 555 Brewing Company. We were staying at Brown's Manor on the other side of town but it was only about a 10 minute walk. We each had a pizza that was tasty and thought we would bring some back to the B&B seeing as we ordered 2 pizza's...but we ended up eating both pizzas as they were sooo good. :) The craft beers are also very tasty. You must give this place a try!!

This is one of the few places doing takeout and we couldn't get in anywhere to dine so we ordered pizzas to go. It turned out to be a great decision. I thought the pickle pizza was really tasty with a lovely crust. Unfortunately mine was burnt compared to the others, but it was easy to forgive.

I wanted to try a new place I haven’t tried before and during this difficult time gives me an excuse to try all new places that are still open for takeout. The staff on the phone was really friendly and helpful and ordering the #4 pizza was really quick and easy. When I came to pick it up the pizza was fresh just off the wood stove and it was so good. I never tried a place that has a good pizza as this place and being a county resident I’m mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I recommend this place just for the pizza alone but they also do craft beer as well

Service was a 1 start apart from the fact that it was fast the second time, but the beer and food were both really good, although more on the expensive side for the flight of beer.

We did not enjoy our experience here. The service was sub-par, the woman gave us our drinks then never returned, even when the glasses were empty. The restaurant was buzzing, but not packed, the server just seemed very.... confused. There was zero attempt at building any kind of rapport with customers. We eyed up the pizzas from the customers beside us which looked nothing like wood fired, more like pale frozen pies. Even the beers did not taste how the person described them at all. Overall just a very deflating experience from a county establishment. We ll stick to the other brewery options.

After a long day on the road, we 2 of us, stopped in to grab a bite to eat, social distancing measures were in full effect. It was busy for a Tuesday at 4:30. Every available space was full except a table we were able to grab up. The crew were personable and professional. We were seated then the fun began. We ordered the Pretzel and Nachos to start and 2 full flights to try their brews. The pretzel was hot and moist with a nice Pommery Mustard accompaniment. The Nachos were loaded with cheese and toppings. I can say I enjoyed half of their offerings, as I stray away from hoppy, my cohort enjoyed hoppy so we were both pleased. Something for everyone, I will say the biggest surprise from the description was the Sour Gruit, Wow! It’s a home run of flavours, in the world of lime and lager, but better and that description doesn’t do it Justice! In this instance I am the Jury and the Witness to my delight! See what I did there????. Honourable mentions from the Bub’s favs ... Long Black, But Brown(?not sure if that’s right) Next we ordered two pies ...wood fire Pizza Pies. We are two larger fellas. The meat pizza and a lemongrass, sun dried tomatoes and pesto pizza. The meat (forgive me I don’t recall the names but it’s #6 I think) the sauce is rich, and balanced, the portions of toppings were not skimped on nor were they over powering. Not one topping was upstaged, nor was the crust, crisp and pillowy. The Lemongrass Chicken pizza I think #8 was next level, flavour explosions abound. While the chicken may have been the star, the supporting cast of flavours were not lost only elevated the profile of this pie! We ended up grabbing a few treats to bring home and are very excited to bring the families this summer. All in all it was an incredible experience, don’t take it from me, you be the Judge and deliver your own Verdict!

Absolutely loved this brewery! A MUST on your to-do list when visiting Prince Edward County. Beer was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our pizza (#8)!! Their patio is very welcoming with lots of bushes and trees so you don't feel as though you're on a main street. The location is ideal and easy to find. 5 is my lucky number so I felt compelled to check it out and it didn't disappoint. I'll be returning next summer for sure! Bravo to the owners...they've done an outstanding job representing their community and servicing tourists. Thank you for the experience!

We visited 555 on Saturday and had wonderful service and the pizza was incredible (garlic, olive oil, kale, bacon and cheese is the best one :) ) I would also recommend trying their hot sauces (if you are okay with extra hot spices!!) We will definitely be returning this summer.

This place sucked, awful service - server forgot my order and was nowhere to be found until after everyone I was dining with had already finished their meals AND had their plates cleared. Pizza was not very good, my glass had a HUGE chip in the side and it was pretty gross watching the two stoner girls working the pizza oven blow into it to try to get the wood pieces to catch fire while my pizza was cooking. When our bill arrived, the server didn't even offer to comp my pizza, which given the circumstance I feel was warranted (I had to watch every one of my companions eat while I sat there, starving). I said something to the server and she became very huffy - instead of apologizing, or explaining why she couldn't comp the pizza, she became very defensive and said "well, you got what you paid for, didn't ya?" - well, actually, I didn't... paying customers generally pay to eat at the same time as their dining companions, for good service and to be treated with a basic level of respect as a patron. Don't eat here if you want an enjoyable dining experience.

Pizza was okay and beer was good (that's mostly why im putting 2 stars instead of 1) THE SERVICE, omg, I never experienced something like that before. The server asked us litteraly 4 times in a row : What was your beers again ? 1 minute after, he brings us a cider... We tell him it's the wrong beer, he takes the cider and drinks it on the spot (he actually chugs it in our face) after that it went just downhill, the table next to us was worse for them... i feel bad for them. The worst thing I think is that ALLLLLLLL the staff knew he gave a bad service and NOOOOO ONEEEEE came to help... I guess they really don't care about client satisfaction lol I am sorry, but this is very true... the server had a rainbow bandana. Also, we were 2 couples and drank 2 beers each so I don't really understand where the story that we were too drunk comes from ?????? we were there a week ago

Can't wait to go back. Moved to the area within the last year and this is the best place I've been to. The pizza is really good and the hot sauces are perfect (tasty and not too crazy spicy). I really like the beer, especially the sours and the wit. Every beer I've tasted has been high quality. I always have trouble picking which one to fill my growler with. Okay maybe there was one IPA that was a little lack lustre but that's literally the worst thing I could say. Great atmosphere, nice patio. The staff are amazing. I got food once, the server was good and not over our shoulder the whole time. Usually I just go to fill a growler or two and the person behind the bar is always knowledgeable and open to letting you try a few things. A must stop if you're in the Picton area. Worth the drive from Belleville everytime!

THE place to go for anyone seeking that fun and funky brewery atmosphere and a tasty bite to eat. The expansive beer menu has just too many great brews to try in one go (unless you're staying within walking distance, that is), so repeat trips are unavoidable. And their pizzas are also masterfully crafted and complement the beers just right.

Great beer and pizza. Very good service. Ask your server what the significance of the noose on the logo is. It is part of an interesting story about the Picton area and the reason behind the naming of their beers. Wood oven pizzas start at $14 for a plain cheese and range to around a max of $18 for their top end salmon pizza.

Visited July 16 at 1:15pm. Approached the hostess (dark hair in two short braids) to ask for a table. She said they didn't have any and that there is a waitlist. Okay fair enough, so then I asked how long the wait is. She responded by laughing "Oh I have no idea". I had to ask a few questions like how many people were ahead of us, what are our other options (take out etc) in order to get some kind of answer from her that perhaps suggested our business was wanted. It's not a huge deal but I feel like a hostess' one job is to provide the customer with that kind of information without me having to pry for it. After she finally confirmed the wait would be really long (again, that's fair), we decided on just ordering the food to-go. She directed us to a different line by saying "well you can't stand here anymore if you're ordering take out". Fine, so I went to the 'take out' side and picked up a menu to read on the picnic table she directed me to. After I put it down and proceeded to the counter, she approached me and said "Did you just touch that menu on the table? Because if you did now I have to go sanitize it". That was kinda the final straw for me, I was not going to drop probably $60 on a place that within 5-8 minutes had already given me 3 unfriendly interactions. I'm not a Karen, and I'm patient understanding of the changes due to covid, which is why I didn't leave after the first interaction, or the second. All of this isn't a huge deal either, but it was enough to deter me and my party from your business. It's little things like an inviting welcome in the first 5 minutes that would have made that difference in the last restaurant we stopped at on our little vacation. Just thought I'd let you know and hopefully this can be worked on for future guests. *Edit: no need to further discuss as I don't live in the area anyway, just wanted to leave feedback and I appreciate the response :)

Pizzas are delicious. Sadly no french fries or kids menu offered. A family of 5 adults spent $190 incl 5 beers, 3 pizzas and one salad

Just had an overall bad experience. Exceptionally poor service. Mediocre to poor food. So many other good places to check out in Picton, avoid 555. - told 40 minute wait, took 1.5 hrs to get seated. - Hostess was rude when we checked back after 50 minutes to see how things were progressing. - short beer list, and they were out of some of their own beers - took 20 minutes after we ordered to get our beer, had to ask a server (seems like they forgot our order) - my wife’s pizza had so much garlic on it she couldn’t get through it, threw some of it out - no waitress checked in on us throughout the whole meal - went up to pay, waitress just gave us the total without showing us the bill. When I asked for the bill she made a big stink about it, as if it’s weird to confirm what they are charging us for (like the $1.50 charge for hot sauce... at a pizza restaurant...) Left upset, bad way to end what was supposed to be a good night out on vacation

We were visiting Prince Edward County, on our way, we found this place. We ordered four different pizzas for take-out. We had to wait for 20 minutes, but it was worth it. I only tried Vegetarian ones. So I can only write about them. The first one was: . PESTO + SPINACH + RED PEPPERS + OLIVES + RED ONION + VEGAN PARMESAN. and the second one was OLIVE OIL + GARLIC + MUSHROOMS + BRIE + PARMESAN + TRUFFLE OIL. I Loved both of them. I definitely will go back.

We live in Picton and this is our favourite pizza spot in the County and anywhere! We often order take out pizza on Friday nights and we're so appreciative that they have a vegan pizza option and gluten-free pizza dough. Delicious. Fast & friendly service.

We had lunch here today as part of Fall 2020 Countylicious. We had the BEST pizza we have ever eaten!!! It was the balsamic reduction + smoked duck + caramelized onion + brie + arugula. We each had our own pizza, it was quite large but so good that we managed to eat it all. The crust was very thin and crispy. The flavours of the toppings were absolutely delicious. The lunch also came with their house beer or cider or mead. We chose the Waupoos cider and it was lovely with the pizza. Our server was very friendly and there was good cleanliness and good social distancing between the tables. We will certainly be returning to 555 Brewing Company. The menu had a large selection of different pizzas and many of them look good but we loved the smoked duck pizza so much I expect we will have it again (+ again + again +.......) Many thanks, Kay

Back at the beginning of June, my spouse and I had organized a brew tour for her sister and fiance as a joint bachelor/bachelorette with friends and family - 30 people in all. Natalie was there to greet us and took all our orders personally. She was (and still is, I presume :) ) awesome and friendly and on top of everything. We all had a blast as she hosted us on that beautiful day on their outdoor patio. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thanks Natalie and 555 Brewing!

Terrible service. When we sat down on the patio the table was rocking back and forth due to not being leveled out. We had to ask for cutlery, water and napkins. When they came with it there wasnt enough water glasses and cutlery for everyone at the table. Slow service too. Also menu is not so big. All they had is pizza. They should have more than just pizza.

Great craft brewery with a broad range of regular and seasonal beers. We particularly liked their stout, IPA, and the Marzen they had for the Fall. The pizzas on their menu were also quite good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their patio is dog-friendly. We enjoyed our time there so much that my wife and I visited twice while we were in Picton - once just for drinks, and again for drinks and food. We'll visit again next time we are in the area.

Visited friends that live in Picton and we shared lunch at 555 Brewery. First the staff has super friendly and chill, second the beer (all 7 + cider) outstanding. I had the 8 sampler flight and I was instantly converted. If that wasn't enough we all ordered different pizzas and the experience was elevated to the next level. Super thin crust with just the right amount of everything. We had to take some yummy beer home to TO and after a 3 hour trip home all I could think of was having another pint of 555 Judge. Fortunately we also purchased some 555 Jury, long black and footprint (that we had with lunch on Monday). Couldn't have had a better experience, well maybe if they had dessert but the beer more than makes up for that. Keep up the good work 555 and welcome to Picton. Jane & Deniz

Overall servers are super nice and vegan pizza was tasty too. I would never go back though, as the guy who took my order (Matthew) made snarky comments when I ordered the vegan pizza (if you disagree with my order, either don’t have it on the menu or keep your opinion for yourself!) and later when I asked if I could use some chairs that were stacked on the corner he also said no and that I should take a walk while I waited for my order. Two mins later another server said I could the chairs while I waited. They also gave us the wrong order twice. ????

Great Service. Pizzas and garlic fingers were really good. Everyone in the party enjoyed their selection of beers and cider. Fun atmosphere.

Stopped by for some pints and food and loved this place. Pizzas are fantastic (especially gluten free option), beers are amazing and great vibe with the music, patio and staff are awesome. Definitely go!

Do yourself a favour and go order a flight, you can pick as many of their long list of beers to put in a flight. Didn't have a beer a didn't like. The pizza was super good, but the Hawaiian was a little light on toppings

vacationing here with my girlfriend ....555 looks like nice place and the staff were great . On a busy night , we ordered 2 takeout pizzas BBQ chicken AND Haiwian ...BBQ chicken it was tasty there was hardly any chicken AND haiwian was undercooked , gooey bread and the ham semi cooked like if it was microwaved .....we're not picky people , good flavour BUT average at best !!!
