Amuse just might be Peterborough's best café. Located just north of the core downtown area, it offers a clean, quiet and warm atmosphere with a fantastic selection of coffees and teas. The owners are wonderful and with the wifi, the shop offers a nice break from home especially during midterms and exams.

Biggest surprise: Amusé is licensed and serves beer! Amusé stands out among the many other coffee shops in Peterborough. Its interior is comfortable, decorated in wooden colours and hues, has great lighting, and the tables are almost all close to power outlets. WiFi is reliable and fast. Food is freshly baked in-house, and the many variety of coffees and drinks is impressive. Great staff. Highly recommended.

My favorite people run this shop. They are so.kond and the quality of the coffee and baked goods is mind blowing. I would advise if you are wanting a beautiful experience to stop in Amusè for lunch or a simple cup of Java. (They also offer fancy and festive drinks)

Amusé is a great café. They gave wonderfully friendly staff, a wide variety if hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea etc.),as well as baked goods and meal options. The prices are comparable to the other specialty coffee shops in town but with a less hurried atmosphere.

I've been visiting a lot of Cafes recently, but this one really stuck out to be a really great spot. We accidentally passed it on the drive here, but we were more than glad once we made it. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the food is great. Drinks are good, and the prices are pretty good too. The decor is nice, and the place was clean. Definitely four and a half stars. Will be back again.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We live in Toronto and visit relatives in Peterborough numerous times per year and we *Always* stop in for lunch here every time their home-made sandwiches and soups are that good. We make additional trips here to buy all our fresh coffee beans here...always fresh...just to also have lunch here! We love this place!
