Such a fun place for date night. My boyfriend and I came here a few weeks back and loved it. One of the employees was very knowledgeable about the games and recommended a few for us to play and explained the rules of the games for us. The food there is also very delicious. Only downside is that it's a small space to you have to find the right time to go. Would recommend to anyone looking to have some fun!

The gentlemen who own the place where great! Super helpful when we needed it but they weren't the sort of business owners who helicopter around you. They were knowledgeable and they keep a good selection of games with a good organizational system for game recommendations while also providing a fine food and drink menu. Locally sourced cheeses, meats, breads and veg for there charcuterie really made the day. While I am not local I can't say when I'll be back, but if I have time in Peterborough again I am sure this will be one of my stops.

I loved this place. Its kind of small but that is fine. The staff was very knowledgeable and showed us how to play games we didn't know. We had allot of fun. The food was very pricey and was not the best. I recommend eating before going there.

What is there to say about Boardwalk? These guys are stellar and I can't believe it's taken me this long to give them a review. Some of the best dates I've ever had with my girlfriend have been just bonding over a new game that's so easy to get into thanks to the owners. That's also without mentioning the great food that I've been fortunate enough to be a guinea pig for when it comes to their cookie selection. We are simply counting the days until everything reopens so we can head back together or with family and just have a nice, relaxing (and usually hilarious) time. Great game selection, great food, great owners, great time. Do yourself the favour and check them out - you won't regret it.

Spent New Year's Eve here and had a blast! The staff is amazing and so friendly and they really make you feel like you're apart of the family! Not only is it a fun place to be, but the Boardwalk lounge is all about promoting local! It was a great environment and I can't wait to come back soon!

Poor communication; had to drive to the actual location to discover that the Lounge was closed till Oct 20. No mention of that on the phone when a nessage was left on Oct 14.

This is a date night staple of ours! We supported Boardwalk before they had a brick and mortar locations when they ran pop-up events - the service is just as personal and the experience is just as fantastic now as it was back then. They constantly bring in new games, add new menu options, and they support local vendors. There is always a mix of families, couples, and groups of friends enjoying the games and it's a wonderful atmosphere. They recently began selling games as well which is great because you can play them first to see if you like them. They also accommodate vegetarian/vegan diets for snacks, meals, and drinks!

These guys are super nice. They have a vision of how to run a boardgame cafe and soon after they opened they were hit by the pandemic. They came up with neat ways to survive with online weekly games. And when they reopened they continued to maintain a good drink selection and games. Really hoping they continue to thrive in the city. Come and visit and support local! (They also sell boardgames to take home which is awesome)

I absolutely love this place! Big selection of games with great recommendations and explanations for new games to try, so that it’s not so intimidating to try something new. Something I didn’t expect was how incredible and unique the food is! The other day when I wanted to go out for dinner, I was craving their food and we just ended up going there! Service is always fantastic and friendly as well :) Will definitely keep coming back again and again!

This is probably my favorite place in Peterborough. The people who work here are absolutely amazing, they take the time to chat with the customers and are always there when you need assistance. The food they server goes perfectly with playing board games.

Absolutely fantastic place. The owner is super nice, the decor and vibes are great and the food/drink selection is on point. Only improvement would be to add more games but that could be never ending and the game selection is pretty good for the size of the place! Definitely hope to be back next time I'm in Peterborough.

This place is utterly amazing! Incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff who know how to play every game in the Boardwalk! They have a giant selection of games. Went into it with high expectations which the staff at the Boardwalk surpassed! Very impressed! Also their COVID-19 safety precautions were well thought out. Will definitely come here regularly in the future. Especially at a price like $7 per person for unlimited game time!

Dylan and Connor run a fantastic shop! The board games are always really well kept no missing pieces and if you're ever in a pinch for a game you can check out the recommendations board or simply ask Dylan. The food is first class Connor really puts his heart and soul into everything he makes
