Gave me coffee with about a tablespoon of coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. The bottom of the cup was literally black when the barista handed it to me.

great treats and yummy free, the server corrected my pronounciation of mochaccino but i guess that was my fault! a power bar was exposed on the table next to us but i don’t think we were in any danger... overall a riveting experience full of excitement and learning opportunities.

We ordered a cappuccino and macchiato and both were too sour to enjoy, so we ended up throwing them out. We also purchased a crownie, a brownie baked with chocolate chip cookie batter on top. It sounded interesting, but once we got in the car, we discovered several spots of mold on the bottom of it. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law had already taken a bite and later felt sick. The girl at the counter offered her a free coffee and gave her a refund when asked, but it was concerning nonetheless. We won't go back, which is too bad because it's a cute little shop inside.

I will admit I wasn't impressed by the house blend, but the service was pretty epic. Will give them another go soon and will update to reflect at that time. Great selection, but hard to make when you haven't been before. I've since been told you can get tasty treats here too!

I always look forward going up to the cottage to stop in and grab some coffee. Last time I was here, the staff helped me pick out some new coffee to try based on my tastes, and boy are they ever good!!

Hands down the best coffee in Peterborough County! To top things off, Tracey has a great staff working with her. It could just be my loud truck tipping them off, but whenever I go in, my coffee is already being poured! LOL

Not really what I was looking for. I was seeking out the best coffee in Peterborough while I was visiting, looking for more of a 'third wave coffee' kind of experience. I found the coffee, both the brewed and the espresso, to be quite dark and bitter. The service was fine. The selection of whole bean coffee is eclectic but the bags didn't seem super fresh and without roast dates.

Beat cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time. Sumatra, black. Ended up buying a pound of it, wish I had bought more! Edit: I am going to be in the area in a couple weeks and am making a special, out of my way stop to load up on coffee here. There is nothing like the aroma of fresh roasted coffee in my FACE.

Kyoto Coffee deserves more recognition. I use their Sumatra coffee with my Breville Infuser to make Americano's. I've always put milk in my coffee until I had theirs. It's that damn good. So delicious. Of course its key you buy fresh beans and they roast there at the store so you aren't getting anything that is older than 2 or 3 days and half pound bags so you can get fresh coffee right to the last bean int he bag. I highly recommend this company. The owner is very knowledgeable when it comes to coffee and the staff are courtesy, helpful, real gems! I will continue to buy from them. Thanks for roasting coffee the way it should be roasted. They have a lot to choose from too.

Stopped by the Peterbourgh farmers market, and tried Kyoto's coffee. Their cinnamon coffee was awesome. Definatly will stop again next time we are in Peterbourgh

I really wanted to like this place. I like to support local business during the pandemic. Instead of going to Starbucks, I decided to take a different route and try this place out because it was local. I ordered medium flat white. See the picture. Even with the foam it’s only 2/3 full. Once the foam settled down, it was half full. How can you serve a drink that is visible not full? Not only that, the coffee was bitter. and it seems they used 1% milk when flat white calls for whole milk. Not coming here again. Even though i really wanted for it to work. If it did, I would’ve made my daily coffee stop.

We delight in outstanding coffee. For years, we have served the Sumatra blend at our house. We are always asked where we get it. Now that we live three hours away, Tracy ships 5 lb bags to us. We tried to shop local here, but none of it comes even close.

Anything I learned about great coffee was from Kyoto Coffee. Staff is very friendly, always great service both at the coffee shop and at the memorial center market! My father always bought his beans from there and I will carry on the tradition! Keep up the great work guys!

Coffee taste variable with in the same named coffee. Weight of the bags of coffee varies in weight and are mostly low in the designated weight. Company was notified but diff nothing.

I have never found a coffee as amazing as Kyoto. I live with MS everyday and battle fatigue bad. I finally found a coffee that not only waKes me up but gives me the energy to face the day. Not only is her coffee amazing the heart and passion she has put in to each and every bean is just amazing. I have tried many brands and Kyoto hands down is my win! I wouldn't recommend anything but Kyoto ????????????????

Like there coffee but they dont seem to be open when they say they do. If there hours were more reliable I would definitely stop in more and give 5 stars.
