Great place to hang out and play games with friends. They have a decent collection and are open to people bringing in their own games. Everything is available for any paying customers with no additional fees for game time. Also serve great bubble tea and snacks

This is the best place to go if you like Anime, Bubble tea, Smoothies, etc. honestly it's so welcoming! I have multiple posters of MANY different Anime's and Vocaloid, I also have a Christmas Hatsune Miku nendoroid and a plush of Hatsune. The quality of the items here are VERY high and the price is excellent! I've never used the VR BUT I've watched my friends play it and I've been told it's up-kept. This IS the place to be, It's very homey and all and all VERY enjoyable!

Very friendly, and accommodating. I twice ordered the mocha latte and is a nice balance of chocolate and coffee. Also he was very patient with my girlfriend and I who are not very familiar with gaming and helping us select a game.

Really neat place, it’s a must check out if you’re in the area. Drinks and food are really unique. Has a great selection of anime figures and posters and anything you’ll ever need if you’re a fan or are buying for someone. Has a bunch of video game consoles downstairs with couches and is a cool place to have a party.

I was in Peterborough visiting and had been told by many people that Dodrio Bubble Tea was *the* place to go. Well, I sure wasn't steered wrong! I ordered the Taro Milk tea and cradled it all afternoon to keep the flavour coming. The gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and shared some of his thoughts about which teas blended best for bubble tea. I believe he said he used a Jasmine Green in Taro, though for me it tasted a lot like Earl Grey, but I was still quite satisfied with that fruity pebbles taste! I hope to be back soon as I have a pre-teen that will go gaga over the anime poster collection!

The anime and gaming cafe is a sorely underserviced industry. For the most part, it's easy to find gaming cafes in most parts of the developed world. But anime and gaming cafes? Or just anime cafes? All that said, I never expected to find a place like this in PTBO. Toronto, for sure, but not a smaller city. This should be a thing. We need more of these establishments. Dodrio focuses on this and brings delicious bubble tea and snacks to a relaxed atmosphere where you can hang out or game to your heart's content. Bring your friends, because places like these are way more fun than Starbucks or Tims. Posters, figures, wall scrolls, plushies, bags, and various other accessories await you. There are VR games available on PS4. The basement lounge has multiple XBox and Wii U stations. And hey, they even started carrying K-Pop stuff if you're into that!

I love this place. Sometimes as a customer it's hard to see from a store owners perspective. He's a reasonable and respectful guy. Being a store owner is stressful . As someone who has had their own business for many decades I applaud his patience and will to keep going regardless of what people say... you know what they say about opinions...

There is soo many different kinds of Bubble Tea and each drink is made with care! This Cafe is amazing with lots to do from board and card games to virtual reality and watching anime, also video games down in the lower lobby and extra comfy seating. He has a variety of hot and cold snacks and deserts, and a store filled with many unique things from cool anime backpacks to plushies that are too cute. I am not much of an anime person but when I walked in there for the first time it was a great experience and only get my bubble tea from there! Thanks Dodrio (I am not related to anyone at the store, I just make reviews to stores that deserve the review where fit)

My daughter really loves this store. No where like it in Peterborough. An accletic gathering of merchandise from clothing and statuettes to posters and goodies. Every time we visit down town we stop here.

Drove over an hour specifically to visit and both times it was closed even though the website and store signage hours indicated it was open. My daughter was very disappointed as it was her birthday request to go here. Please update your store hours so our time is not wasted.

Amazing hidden gem! Really tasty teas, great customer service and really nice relaxing atmosphere. The VR set up will have you losing track of time and the cake is a must for those with a sweet tooth. Great place to buy gifts for those who love Pokémon and anime! A must try location for sure!!

Saturday March 9/19 Disappointing experience. Owner not professional. Too busy making teas then dealing with customers who have left a DEPOSIT to rent and play at this establishment. Did not take time to explain how their games cafe works, and said it was responsibility of customers. Would benefit from having signs/rules if not explaining to prevent confusion. Owner/staff openly talking negatively about their own customers. Not professional at all, and our group ended up leaving and asking for refund of unused time. NO WORKING WASHROOM, and booked a 4 hour session for multiple people, was not told this by staff. It shows why there was no business in there. This establishment may be "the only thing around" however you're not missing much by not spending your hard earned money at this place. Move on.

There's a reason why the only low ratings are people who didn't go into the store. We had am amazing time there today. Vr headset was a blast, bubble tea was delicious, staff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He gave us extra time to get used to equipment and was super accommodating to our 4 year old, giving her treats and making sure we were comfortable. Delicious food, board games, video games, tons of fun things to buy. I highly recommend trying Dodo out. Peterborough needs more places like this.

Fantastic store, the bubble tea is fantastic and there's tons of cake and drinks to choose from. It all tastes amazing. There's a ton of posters and collectibles from anime shows as well but if that's not your thing I would definitely recommend you still go there just for the bubble tea. (Banana with strawberry balls is the best) The owner is also always there, super friendly and fun to talk to.

Got a regular bubble tea today. The tea is alright, but the bubbles aren't the best. I'm not sure if they're homemade, but you guys should double cook the bubbles twice if they're homemade. The first time is to make it fully cooked, the second time you need to cook it with brown sugar and some water. So that the bubbles are flavored and less chewy. They're flavorless to me. A little suggestion from a person who came from the original bubble tea country. The service ain't bad though, thank you.

This is my favorite place in town to get drinks. The London fog, earl grey milk tea, and mocha frapp are my all time favorites so if you love Earl grey I would definitely try these two out! They're also extremely accommodating for my dietary restrictions by adding less sugar when I need and etc.

Bacon Management

The Cafe is one of the few Haven's for gamers and anime fans in this town. The service is top notch and they have sign out game systems for in facility use while you are drinking your beverage. Game systems include a wiiU and an Xbox 360 to my knowledge, these systems also come with multiple controllers and multiplayer games which includes but is not limited to super smash Bros for wiiU and Pokken tournament. The employees are very relatable and easy to talk to about gamer topics, they are also very polite and are very kind to the customers, whether they are making a drink or helping with VR equipment they are ready to assist you. The price is good for the teas and they also sell some Japanese foods and drinks. They also have a seating area below the main cafe that is used for gaming and tournaments. Overall DoDo is the perfect experience for gamers or anime fans in this small City.

If you're an anime enthusiast and are wondering where to have a gathering with like minded people, this is the place to be. They serve snacks and drinks that are perfect for a hangout and the atmosphere is very unique for a place in Peterborough. Pretty quiet and very well decorated for kids and enthusiasts. They have a game lounge as well as a console corner all this with super comfortable couches and a reasonably priced menu.

Worse customer service. Took my little sister here as I thought it was a cool little place.... well I was wrong I go it with a coffee from tims as we stopped there until we figure out what we would do and grabbed a drink. We decided a desert and some games would be fun. We go in the store start looking at cakes, I get a piece and she got something as well. After I finish paying and he gives me the change the young man says "this is to go right?". I respond to him with "excuse me? No we were thinking of playing games.." He proceeds to tell me no outside drinks and tells me we cannot stay and have our desert we just purchased from him and tells us pretty much to leave. I say "really we just bought something?" And he proceeds to argue with me that other places do the same for about 5 minutes... but from experience if I purchase something from somewhere I am welcome to use their bathroom... if my dad wants subway but I'm allergic and want mac Donald's I've never been told to leave as long as a contribution has been made to that business.... All my sister wanted was desert and to play some board games. I maybe see her once a month and as a Sunday everything was closed... we decided to go to cineplex and use the arcade which was way more fun any who and we're never bothered about our drinks. Shame on you. Horrible customer service. Next time say something before someone buys something from your awful store not after and kick them out.... pathetic... honestly... I would have understood if we had walked in and just played games but that.... you won't keep your customers acting like that. ZERO STARS!

My boyfriend and I were so glad that we stumbled into this place! It has bubble tea, which I always have trouble finding. It is also a great deal! If each person purchases a drink or piece of cake or merchandise, you get to play a video game for an hour and a half. We found the owner to be very friendly and genuine.
