My husband and I sat on the porch at 2 tables pushed together to make a table for four people, so we scooted over a table so another couple could sit. The waitress said we couldn't do that and had to sit in the dingy, dark part of the porch at a table for 2! Insulting! Then the waitress sat her friends at the table for 4 where we had been! So rude! There is also no traditional breakfast on the menu, only waffles. Ugh!

While cycling towards Percé and ravenous, I was told by General Store folks in Barachois to go check out Restaurant Couleurs. It’s hard to miss because of... couleurs. A great place to eat and pick up some souvenirs or useful items such as fragrant soap. Food was yummy and my coffee cup frequently refilled. Servers were pleasant and efficient. There is an art gallery upstairs. I think I shall return and pick up a leather bag created by a local artist.

(Translated) THE place to have lunch with a view of the Rocher Percé in the distance. Their specialty is waffles and it's so worth it. Beautiful terrace, part in the shade and part in the sun. Inside there is a shop with real Local Crafts and not "Made in China" products like most of the Percé stores. However, there is no lunch including eggs. The detour is worth it, the prices are great and as it is further away it is quite calm, less touristy. I liked it a lot and I will return for sure! À l'intérieur il y a une boutique avec du vrai Artisanat Local et non des produits "Made in China" comme la plupart des magasins de Percé. Il n'y a toutefois pas de déjeuner incluant des oeufs. Le détour en vaut la peine, les prix sont supers et comme c'est plus loin c'est assez calme, moins touristique. J'ai beaucoup aimé et j'y retournerai c'est certain!

Discovering Destinations

We hesitated when we read one of the reviews talking about no traditional breakfast. It’s true, the main breakfast consists of waffles. But super delicious waffles, the best coffee we’ve had in a week and amazing service! Go there ! FYI: As of the end of August the kitchen closes at 3pm and they will close for the season on September 15th.
