Service was decent. However out of six of us, we all agreed the food wasn't worth going back for, especially for the price. Beer selection was domestic only. Decor looked like lots of patchwork.

Avoid the ribs unless you have a jackhammer to tear them away from the bone and a tall drink to wash down the one or two bites you'll try before giving up. Sent the first order back, second order came out in 3 minutes and no better. I suspect rib night was 6 nights ago. Others in my party of 7 enjoyed their meals. Cook should apologize to the pig that died in vain.

We had a great time. We went in with our family and kids. The baby was being fussy and unruly. The staff were quick to help us and ease the baby. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back. The food was excellent. They have deep fried cheese curds. They were divine.

You can't please everyone! I was satisfied with the service. The food is really sports bar menu type but really great. They also offer delivery, with covid it's really useful!! Can't decide what to order? Try the Taster Platter!

Used to be my favourite place to eat! But unfortunately, you are not welcome if you are not liked by any of the staff.. very opinionated place. Awful for customer service! My nephew found a screw in his food once! We were not impressed... but mistakes DO happen I suppose. If customer service was better, I'd give it another chance! Other then that, their food is fantastic. God I miss those wings :( :(

Exactly what you want in a sports bar. The food is solid (actually better than solid - quite good in fact) the service is prompt and the drinks are cold. The interior is comfortable and boasts almost 2 dozen flat screen TV's - a sports fanatic's dream. I know the owners personally and couldn't be happier with their success with Don Cherry's Sports Grill restaurant. Tim and Alda have worked extremely hard to make their business shine - and it shows. I wish them nothing but the best. Keep up the great work.

Went for a beer and was very pleased. Our server greeted us right away and provided our beers promptly. Beers were cold and crisp. Just what we wanted.

Like the real character: not impressed... There were multiple Issues with the kitchen: food was overcooked. Asked for medium-rare steak, got well done, ribs were hard as shoe soles, fries were cold. The service was adequate, ambiance was ok and they took good measures for distanciation.

Slowest service ever.. sat for 20 min with empty beer before i was asked for another.. sat for 40 min when second beer and dinner was done before I could even ask for a bill.. Im from Niagara Falls just visiting.. This place was quiet and there was no reason for this long of a wait.. Never go back..

Food was ok and did the job as I was passing through here from a weekend getaway. Place is a bit grungy. Must walk through the bar to get to the washroom, bar area does not understand the concept of physical distancing.

The service was a little slow and it wasn't busy at all. I think they may have forgot about us for a little bit. The portions we received for a poutine and cheese dip were fairly large. The food was okay.

We did love coming here for wing night. Wings are the best! Met some family that night but showed up later. We're sitting at a table for 6 just my brother and I. Every drink we needed to go to the bar and when we ordered we also had to go to the bar. Nursing our drinks all night and waiting for service!!! A waitress came to our table to tell us she needed us to move to another table because a group was coming in that takes this table ever other Tuesday. We were directed to a different 6 chair table in a not as nice spot. I put up a bit of a fight but my brother prefers to not make waves and just never go back.......... ever..... BYE BYE DON CHERRY'S

An hour and a half to get our meal.. which looked okay but felt like a boxed meal or Frozen.. we all felt terrible after we ate. one waitress did an amazing job but everyone else was totally incompetent I try not to say hurtful things about a place I visit but I would never go back there. Literally one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant everybody last night felt the same way people were walking out they were complaining but like I said one waitress tried so hard but they needed more staff. Unfortunately today with cerb maybe they just couldn't get the help with the girl said.. I think the owner needs to step it up and make the place feel better atmosphere

We arrived behind another party and since there was no hostess they seated themselves and we did as well. Almost 10 minutes later I finally got up and went to get some menus for ourselves. Returning to our table a waitress very rudely informed me that we were supposed to wait to be seated. She then offered to come take our drink orders shortly. We waited several more minutes while we listened to her chattering to the one other party of locals that was seated on the patio. She finally came over to take our drink order and then disappeared for another 10 minutes. Thankfully another server noticed us sitting there with no food or drink and very cheerfully came to check on us. While we were placing our order with her, our original server came with our drinks and slid them onto the table and disappeared without an apology. Our new server made up for the first one and was very happy to serve us and got us our food very quickly. The food was great. Unfortunately this is at least the 3rd time we have had an experience like this and so we will again avoid coming here for quite a while.

I’m new to the area and read some bad reviews about this place - well came in tonight to have a drink - nice atmosphere - looks awesome - great service - didn’t eat anything but food looked and smell awesome

Food was not bad but the service omg It was not busy and it took 1 1/2 hours for 5 of us to eat. When I finally got the bill she gave me the credit card machine and left. The other couple was so upset with what was going on that they just threw some cash on the table and left. I might add that we were both dumb enough to still leave a decent tip but don't worry we will never be back and will definitely never recommend the place to anyone.

The wings, prime rib are very good. Service has been more than adequate, good servings, and the prices are reasonable. Thanks to ALL the staff for working during COVID. If you expect fine dining, and service.. best to take your service somewhere else, and max your credit card.

Good bar great atmosphere, food isn't the greatest but its bar food not fast food and not a luxury restaurant so its what's to be expected They know how to make drinks and keep them coming Can do some horse race betting,or just sit and watch the sports on the TV either way it's a good spot and you'll always meet some interesting characters. If I could put 0 stars I would. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!!! Terrible service, served meat to a vegetarian and when asked to fix it, waited over an hour for it not to come and then decided we did not want to wait any longer so left. Got a "discount" on the incorrect order that was not able to be eaten. Service was absolutely terrible, people that came in after us left before us. When we asked to speak to the manager they said "they are busy so you can leave or wait for them." After 30 minutes of waiting for the manager we got up, paid for a meal that couldn't be eaten and left because we could not stay in that environment any longer. To top it off, only one employee in the entire restaurant was wearing a mask. When asked why they aren't wearing masks the waitress said "they have COPD and Asthma." It is hard to believe that all of the 6 other employees have one of those diagnoses, however it is "possible," I guess. It is sad to see this because I have been going to the other location of Don Cherry's for years but ever since it moved (and I am assuming got new owners) it has gone completely downhill. I will NEVER return here, and will tell all my friends to avoid at all costs.

Just had a wonderful Mothers day dinner.Four of us.the prime rib was exellent.and cooked perfect.The stuffed chicken breast,which my wife had was also great. One guest had the blackened salmon,also excellent.Great service By Alda.Keep up the good work,and good food.Recomend it to everyone.Thanks.

Not a great experience. Started off with them losing our reservation. Waitress was rude a number of times and absent when it was not even busy. Bathroom smelled like marijuana, floor was sticky and no toilet paper. Waited over an hour for mediocre food. Will not be returning.

I'm not a fan of the brand, but it was the only place in town that was open on Friday evening (of all days, come on Parry Sound). The service was selective, the establishment clearly favours their regulars over strangers passing by. In my opinion this is poor customer service. You treat customers the same, regardless of your varying comfort levels with people. The table right next to us was getting regular visits from the server, striking up small talk, asking if they need water. I had to get up and walk to the bar area at some point to look for ours. The menu was disappointing. Full of carbs and fatty red meat, minimal vegetables on offer, very unhealthy options. The food prices are decent for this type of restaurant, however value for money is lacking as the food was extremely salty and took a questionable amount of time to produce (labour shortage maybe? If so, pay your people more, not my problem). Overall poor experience, the place was otherwise clean. I will avoid going to any Don Cherry's in the future.

Did takeout since we were staying at a resort close by. Food is overpriced for the quality served. Service was mediocre, I had to get my own menu and approach them to place my order. Kids love lasagna but not theirs. And I guess being in a small town there is not much covid protocols, servers had masks down to their chin.

Stopped here for lunch after being disappointed at another "sports bar" in Parry Sound. I called ahead of time to ask if they were playing the Cowboys game and the woman said that they had the game on. We arrived and they said they did not have that game playing.....Server was kind and the food was excellent. Very limited parking on site.

Waitress does not know what she is doing all over the place. Did not get the right order asked to have it changed and she told me to pick around I do have allergies. Absolutely garbage service avoid at all cost a mcdonalds drive through saves you time and way less hassle free. Dont eat here!!!

Waitress was awesome. Fast, friendly and very helpful. However, we we're completely dissatisfied with our meal. Appitizer was decent and timely. However the main course was not. The wings were terribly dry and the ribs were so overcooked there wasnt any edible meat left on them. Will definelty not go back to this establishment which is disapointing becuz they used to have the best wings in town

If i could give ZERO stars I would. Do not go here unless you are local to the area or, believe me, you will be treated horribly. Waitresses seemed to be busy chatting in the corner while we sat and waited over an hour for our food (it was nothing crazy, just salads). The waitresses were also not wearing masks meanwhile we are in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, which is not only disrespectful for customers, but also could potentially be harmful for our own health . I felt very disrespected and i encourage people to definitely stay away from this restaurant at all costs. Sad seeing this restaurant go to waste once they moved from the previous location.

I love their Irish Nachos! Pic attached. I couldn't eat it all so took the rest home. Also a pic of part of the menu. Goodmfood, good value. Has a patio if you want to eat outside and inside it has lots of big screens to watch sports shows. I have been there ovreweight ten times and not been disappointed yet. Not gourmet, but good food.

May 14/17 20:00 2nd time back. Delicious wings and lasagna, the staff is prompt and courteous making sure we were happy and taken care of. My server, a short spunky brunette was especially easy on the eyes ????. Wish I had left my number.... Or got her name. Definately will be back.
