This place was ok. I had a beet-flavoured latte, but I could kinda taste the powdered flavouring. The sandwich and peanut butter bar I had were amazing. Decent ambiance, if perhaps small. Love the video store next door, lots of fond memories of that.

Friendly service and homey. Had a cappuccino with soy milk--stellar! Also tried the beet root latte with soy for a warm caffeine-free alternative. It was pretty good! I like the rich wood interior, it's cabin-like.

Had a quick bite and a coffee here with my wife and the food was fantastic, fresh and super yummy; the coffee was one of the best brews I had in a while. The place is new so the overall cleanliness is on point, staff is friendly and ambiance is super nice and calm. My only pet peeve is two large screens playing news all day long; not sure it is necessary. We all have way too much screen time daily, having it while enjoying coffee or a meal is completely unnecessary. other than that I highly recommend this place for good, fresh and tasty food and superb coffee. I know, wife and I will be back on regular basis.

Tried Green Bean breakfast with my friends for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint! The traditional breakfast with gluten free toast and homemade blueberry jam was fantastic. I had no idea how much better organic eggs are until I tried them (poached medium) at Green Bean yesterday. The portions were generous, price was right, service was on point & the space is beautiful. We all left with our belly’s full & a big smile on our face. Highly recommend!

Had breakfast there with my partner and 2 kids today and it was fantastic. Food was much better than your average breakfast place and reasonably priced (nice bacon and sausages, jam). We will definitely be going back.

Really interesting menu selections. I enjoyed poached eggs on toast with an avocado spread and Green Bean home fries. Eggs were done perfectly and home fries were very tasty. And, they offer cappuccino, my go-to wake up coffee. We'll be back.

Great coffee and breakfast. In fact, the breakfast is TOO good a deal - way too much food, doesn’t fit on a table for two. They should dial that back a bit, didn’t need the 2 pancakes on top of everything else. Best deal is the breakfast panini and coffee. Still new and a few teething problems - very pleasant and accommodating staff but often seem over-worked - I have been there 3 times in the last week (and will keep returning). Server forgot my toast but quickly corrected it. Brought my dishes back to the counter, the guy saw me holding them but just continued making the cappuccino instead of taking them from me. Ordering at the counter takes WAY too long (but it’s worth it in the end). These are just bugs I hope the owner will work out - looks like he watches these reviews - but we have recommended the joint to all our friends. Might try to figure out a way to refill your coffee - maybe charge extra up front if necessary rather than keep returning to buy coffee after coffee. Great neighbourhood way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning.
