A great cafe in a beautiful, downtown location with views of parliament right out the window. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place to study, quite a bit of room to sit. Always busy.

Visited this location for the first time today. Very friendly staff, cozy but bright atmosphere, and great drinks and treats. I liked that they have a separate treat case for vegan and gluten-free items :) Will definitely be back again soon!

Definitely a new favourite spot of mine. Lots of seating with tables and a huge bar along the windows. The ambiance and drinks are great and the price is expected for a downtown cafe. The views are absolutely amazing with the windows facing Elgin, Parliament, the Château Laurier, and the old train station. Busy at lunch and in the evenings when shows begin.

This was a great place to stop for a coffee and snack on our way to explore downtown Ottawa. The view from the cafe is great, especially if you like people- watching and the smell of coffee. The coffee was delicious and there's a variety of treats. I would have liked a gluten-free or sugar free option of snack. I like that they have a jug of water. The flowers on the table were a beautiful touch.

Lovely find in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The barista was very friendly. The place is beautiful. Prices are reasonable. I love how the barista made the effort to make the mocha I ordered look like a swan. There’s also plenty of plugs for those who need a quick charge while they’re touring Ottawa.

My son ate the whole sandwich to which he is not normally a fan of. I had the turkey sandwich and it was delish! The latte afterwards was the perfect temperature and touch to wash it all down....not to mention the location is perfect with so many things going on in and around it. The staff was super friendly and moved around smoothly behind the counter.

Marcello's coffee tour in 2019 starts at Equator Coffee NAC/CNA! i had the peanut butter cookie with pumpkin seeds and dried berries, excellent relaxing environment with tables by the windows and plugs to charge electronics. There are good lactose free options, i got the lactose free milk latte and it tastes spectacular! I would recommend and come back easily. Enjoy my pictures!

My favorite coffee is now downtown! Love the Americanos. Not as much food selection here as Westboro but pastries and cakes etc. Great view of downtown. Not quite sure where to park for this.. some side street of Elgin I guess... I recommend Freekin Good, Sweet Justice and holiday Ho Ho Ho flavors! Thanks for opening another location!

Slick lines and inspiring view, this cafe is yet another brilliant upgrade to the NAC. The coffee is consistent and good. The service is top notch too. A great addition to the cafe culture in Ottawa.

Very glad this roaster has opened up a new coffee shop downtown! They make great coffee, and you can buy beans to take home too. Their new location is in a beautiful spot at the National Arts Centre, so lots of great spots to sit while enjoying your coffee.

There is a great lunch menu, baked goods and delicious coffee. There is ample light and seating options all around. It’s definitely a great spot to catch up over coffee, warm up on a cold day or read a book in one of the cozy nooks.

I really liked the staff and the environment. The coffee was not to my taste. The "bold" tasted weak and surprisingly was a bit acidic. Perhaps it was burned? So, the coffee didn't do anything for me. But the service was very friendly and courteous.

My new favourite place!! I came here to study and I was so focused. The prices for drinks are good, there are vegan and gluten free food options and very good quality. The atmosphere was perfect although getting a bit busy at one point, but that's to be expected. The staff were so friendly. Very relaxed, clean place with lots of power sockets and nice surrounding if you want to go for a short scenic walk in between studying. :)

Recently completed reno of the NAC has made it a very inviting space to just hang out in, even if you're not attending the show. Great to bring your laptop or a book and sit looking out at the canal and Senate. If you're a tourist, this is the best location to stop and enjoy a break downtown.

Downtown branch of well known Westboro coffee house. They do it all; roasting fair-trade and organic coffee beans for a delicious cup of joe. They have a good assortment of pastries and some sandwiches - enough for a light lunch. The National Arts Centre addition is a modern architectural masterpiece and a great place to enjoy a coffee. The noise level is not too high and there are lots of places to sit, so you can have a business meeting here as well. Perfect place for a coffee break. Highly recommended!

This place has everything. Comfortable chairs, a gorgeous view out the window, a long table with OUTLETS, wifi, nearby washrooms, and top notch coffee. Its competitors may have the latter as well, but in terms of the other amenities I just listed, Equator Coffee blows them out of the water. I will be back.

Delightful coffee place near my hotel in downtown Ottawa. Roasted nearby for extra value! Friendly staff add to the positive experience! Obviously the coffee is top notch. Grabbed a latte and some beans for the road. Highly recommended. Will be back!

A bit pricey but not out of step with other cafes in Ottawa and their drinks and food are good. The cafe is also in a great setting. This is a local company started out in Almonte! Take a look at their paper cups for a map of part of the Ottawa Valley

Visited many cafes during my short trip to Ottawa and I can saw equator had the best coffee and snacks. It is also located in the national arts center close to the Parliament so you can catch a show or tour of the Parliament while you're around.

Beautiful cafe surrounded by large windows. The natural lighting adds to the refreshing atmosphere of the place. The seating could be arranged in better ways, but it has the purpose of having customers face the windows and enjoy the view on Parliament and Château Laurier. On the picture, a delicious turmeric latte.

Great views and atmosphere. Expect to pay top dollar for simple coffee though. Whilst there is free WiFi courtesy of the NAC, there are specifically no plug points open to the customer. Staff friendliness is slightly mediocre, odd - given it recently opened. All in all, go to say you've gone but I won't be returning.

NAC is not only a wonderful place to I see performing arts. It's also a very nice place to enjoy a good cup of coffee. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of seatings especially those along the high glass walls with beautiful scenes looking over the Ottawa canal.
