Click and collect is a joke at this location, they are under staffed and two experiences in a row I have waited 1.5 hours past my time slot to receive the groceries. Also received a call on our most recent click and collect order saying they are an hour behind. How is the store an hour behind after an hour of being open?? The employees are even saying they are under staffed when they hand off the groceries- Hint to management. Staff up or don’t offer the service.

PC EXPress is Not Great though. “Heather” who I Believe to be the Manager of PC EXPRESS is not Kind. I Have been in the store a Couple times for Optical, to use the restroom, and to Purchase a couple things to hear someone yelling in the PC EXPRESS Area. I look Over and See “heather” yelling at what looks to be A Group of Teenagers. It Was Very troubling, and as an older Woman myself, being yelled at as a Teenager by my boss in such a Mean way, I Would feel Very Stressed all the time. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR THE KIDS MENTAL HEALTH!!! Very Dissappointing and embarassing too see. Over All, PC EXPRESS was a Good Service a Few Months ago. my order Now is Never on time and i have heard that Some Kids are being Blamed for it. This is Not fair!!!!!

This is the last super market I ever want to go to. The absolute last resort. The produce is usually terrible. The prices are excessive. You will find people shopping there without a mask and no employee enforces the mask policy. And the pharmacy is so dubious. The optical is probably the only thing worth it in there.

Very well kept and very bright and enticing. I find that they do have great deals some times but their used to get you into the store to buy items that are priced on the high side with the sales. Doing a grocery shop here compared to a basic grocery store for a family of 5 is about a 50 to 100 dollar difference. However they do seem to have higher grade veggies and fruit at times and their hot chickens and wings are awesome.

Booked a PC Express Pick Up order for 12pm. The morning of pick up, received a phone call that my order would be delayed. When I asked how long of a delay, she said it would be "about two hours." Ended up canceling my order and going in to get it myself. My husband is going through cancer treatments, so we try to keep him (and myself) safe by keeping outings to a minimum. This was an inconvenience that could become life-threatening to him in this pandemic. Not too happy today Zehrs.

I like the huge, fresh produce department. I totally dislike the existence of the clothes Isles. They have the best donuts and muffins. The prices are usually too high for my budget to be a regular customer. The checkout lines are usually understaffed. It's a good place to go to, when you want to buy some fresh flowers quickly, without having to have a lengthy discussion about it.

The two Zehrs locations, one in Barrie and the other in Orillia are our go-to places on the way up to the cottage. They have excellent prepared salads, a great selection of fruit and vegetables supported by a very fine Bakery and Dairy operations. A small Cafe offering coffee bagels juice or sandwiches would be a nice feature to add to these two stores.... management should consider this option.

If you are planning to do an online order and pick up at this location don't waste your time!! My order was not ready within my time window then when I came back 3 hours later it was still not ready. Every time I called they claimed it "was just being bagged". I decided to leave and come back even later and when I arrived they told me that there was no order? This is probably something management should look into seeing as grocery pick up is a crucial service at this current time. Disappointing.

They surrender grocery space for a lame brand of clothing that hardly anyone ever buys . . . to compete with Walmart. That means they don't have space for the traditional grocery items I'm used to buying there. Which means I end up going to Walmart anyway to buy the groceries that Zehrs didn't have! There's some unmitigated Geniuses at work here. They're so busy trying to be like someone else, they drop the ball in their own area of specialty. And why surrender even more shelf space to sell alcohol when there's a liquor store a short walk across the parking lot??

High School Student here. I go in once in a while to buy the $6 wedges and chicken combo for myself, along with a few other things. The new system of buying the chicken combo is that you have to pay for it before you can even hold onto it, understandable to thwart theft. Then you can continue your shopping, the issue is that when you're at the main cashier even if you have the receipt for the chicken combo sticking out of it the cashier will scan it, and then will not be able to remove it from the bill. Effectively charging the customer double for one item, turning a decent deal into a rip-off. Fix this system. TL:DR Store will charge attempt to / charge double if you buy from the fast food section then continue regular shopping.

I was actually at Zehrs to go into the mobile shop expecting only to ask about a new phone deal. I wound up walking out with a fantastic new phone on a excellent plan with enough PC points for $200 worth of free groceries. A fantastic deal on a whim and I also got to shop for my groceries and grab my favorite ice cream and use the self-serve checkout option. There's always help, everybody knows what they're doing, and you might walk out with something you didn't expect that will serve you for years to come.

This is a big store with all the good stuff. It has a great hot food area with my favorite hot southern fried chicken. A huge produce area great meat counter. It's a very busy store and the employees are awesome. They have reorganized the traffic flow in the isle and protective plexiglass shielding around the teller areas for COVID-19 prevention. It's in a good area also with other stores nearby.

The Big Bay store and the new north end location are the best ones in Barrie. Loads of free parking and nice layout designs. The Big Bay store recently added a Starbucks. They also have a hot deli and sushi making station. Look for specials at the ends of the aisles and be sure to use your pc points card (now pc optimum) to earn free groceries back!

My one complaint would be the staff and especially the Management at the store being unfriendly and unhelpful. My biggest problem at Orillia Zehrs is the lack of price signs. Alot of items are 2 for ?...but are NOT signed this way. Alot of times it is difficult to tell what is on sale. Many displays have NO price visible at all. I have been a loyal Zehrs shopper for the past 20 years but this problem has only really developed in the past year & lately getting worse! I really like having Zehrs in Orillia because it gives people an opportunity to have various kinds of food and products. This is unlike other supermarkets in Orillia. On the other hand, I am giving it 2 stars because of corporates extortionate pricing of the customers money. They like to flip flop on their prices for certain items and I, among many other regular customers do not appreciate it. For example, the King crab legs in the frozen seafood section price will fluctuate on a monthly basis. It will go from a whopping ( 34.99 to 22.99). It is as if the people who decide the prices are testing customers to see if they are willing to purchase it regardless of the price. This feels like extortion and I will not purchase that. I used to Purchase King crab incredibly often (every week) and I will stop buying it until corporate decides to play fair with their prices. Otherwise, I am going to start buying from "Centra" in Barrie permanently. Another example of the extortionate pricing by corporate are their chili peppers and sweet peppers. Why is it that at food basics I can get the chili peppers for 3.99 for 1pound and sweet peppers (3) for 2.99 at food basics? Zehrs however, sells a small amount of chili peppers for a whopping $6.99 and sweet peppers for $8.99 ! How is this not extortionate pricing, especially when your vegetables are imported from the same country as the ones in food basics? Please be fair with your prices and do not extort people especially during these hard times. Prices like these will motivate people to report this crime and I am one of them. Thank you, God bless

Be aware of the seafood section. I have now written if off. Particularly with regards to their shell fish. On three occasions, I have purchased fresh mussels from this location. The first time, they were good. The last two times, including just now, the majority of the mussels were long pass their time. More then half of the bag, did not open when steamed. They were cooked, directly after leaving the store. Then there is the lobster. Be very weary of what they are packaging for you. If they are offering the lobster at a discount, watch how they retrieve your lobsters from the back room. Not from the front tank. Again! Twice now, I have purchased lobsters when they were on sale. They did not get the lobsters from the tank up front. Instead, they went into the back and came out with the lobsters in boxes. On both occasions again, at least half of the lobsters purchased, barely registered a pulse. Enough is enough. It's only a matter of time before these guys end up making someone sick. Providing of course, this has not happened already. Worse seafood ever! Go to Metro or Country Produce. I have never experienced such poor quality seafood as this at either.

Went yesterday to buy meat from the deli. The lady was busy reading something so I said hello to get her attention... Nothing . Again I said hello to which she rudely replied"I can hear you ". Ok how about acknowledge me, maybe say "I'll be right with you" . I was so insulted I walked away. Although I shop at this location on a regular basis, today was a terrible experience. Hoards of students blocking the exits and entrances. Large groups of students blocking isles. Seemed 100s of students in the store at the same time with 0 regard for any other shoppers. Over 50 students hanging around each exit and entrance making it impossible to get in or out of the store at a safe distance. Why does the store allow this to happen? Allowing way to many people to just hang around at the doors, and way to many people inside to keep everyone safe with 0 social distancing? This was a chaotic disaster and dangerous in the parking lots. I truly hope that this changes and Zehrs will consider all people who shop here to be able to do so in a safe and non stressful way.

Although I generally like Zehrs as a store, I do have one main beef with this particular location (Orillia). So many time I get home to realize I have been overcharged. This is not the fault of the cashiers, as they just scan the product. It is either the product is not priced correctly in the system, or sometimes the product on the shelf in front of the for sale sign, it not the product on sale. For instance the product on sale is 500gr, and the product on sale is 600gr. This seems to happen too often to just be coincidence. It’s a shame, because the store and the employees are great otherwise.

This locatiom is just like any other Zehrs or Loblaw's location, however, their washroom is disgusting and I have found expired food on the shelves several times, ranging anywhere from a few days to months past due. The staff is friendly but I was unimpressed about how they handle mispriced items, especially since their store operates under the Scanner Price Accuracy Code.

They have the worst quality of produce of any grocery store in Orillia anyway. Every time we buy produce it's always hard as a rock and nowhere near ripe, then it just rots before it ripens. Bananas and avocado has to be the worst thing to buy here. Also why does the exact same items cost half the price at No frills? Same product, same Toronto supplier for both stores but zehrs does some serious price gouging. And lastly they dont even price half the produce department! We always have an item that we want but never had a price on it so when you get to the register and find out the price and leave it behind cause it's a 8$ bag of oranges that are hard as a rock and green. I dont like shopping there and never have.

Don't shop at Zehrs during the Covid crisis if you value your health and safety. They are allowing customers to bunch up at the cash register instead of allowing only one customer at a time. Other grocery stores and even Walmart are using safer practices. When I phoned customer service at Zehrs to point this out the manager was rude to me by saying " I guess I will have to add that to our list of things to do " as if this was a bother. Then he said "I have to go ; I have other callers".

Ok. I love shopping at Zehers in Orillia due to the fact they carry pretty much everything that I like plus I know where everything is which makes it easy until you get to cashiers. I understand it can get really busy at certain times so to eleviate that problem I do my shopping on a Saturday morning 7 am. The last 2 times I've been there and wanted to check out they told me I had to use the self serve check out and said I wasn't going to do that. I wanted a cashier. After demanding to see the manager I finally got service. I feel self check outs are eliminating jobs. Shouldn't be forced to do self check out. I shop early to avoid the rush and also to accommodate my business schedule. I collect PC points and always load my offers weekly. If I can't get better service at that time in morning then I will start shopping for groceries at a different supplier. We have 1 in Orillia that's open 24 hours. Hope you will take my concern under advisement because I like the store and what it has to offer other check out.

This Zehrs displays their product well and is always very clean. Nice produce, meat and deli departments. Great clothing department. The only reason I do not shop there often is they are more expensive than some of the other grocery stores in everyday item products. They are a high end grocery store.
