The cheesy pickup is amazing! My boyfriend and I went here yesterday as it was our 2 year anniversary and we wanted to try somewhere new. After speaking with the kind lady taking our order and telling her it was our anniversary she said our meal was on the house! We were so taken aback and surprised. It was such a sweet gesture and the food WAS AMAZING!!! We will 1000% be back here to try everything else on the menu! I had their macaroni and cheese. It was watery out of a crock pot. They didn't melt any cheese on top when they gave me my serving. The staff was nice and they they gave me these dog bucks. I think I will go back to try a grilled cheese because that is supposed to be their specialty.

Customer service was atrocious.The woman taking our order was not friendly at all and made everyone uncomfortable. The grilled cheese was nothing special. The Mac and cheese is a watery chunky mess. Only decent part was the free pickle. Definitely not worth what I paid.

Walked to this amazing restaurant on my lunch break the other day. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible, and the portions are so generous! It even comes with the most incredible pickle on the side. Thanks for being a high point in a long week!

Just wanted to leave a few positive reviews while I was online. Cheesy Pickup has been a staple for me these past few years. The owners are so sweet and really want to contribute to the community. They are always doing fun and funky things with their menus like themed specials, etc. Once in a while if you're lucky they will have yummy baked goods as well. Super reasonably priced and delicious. Helena's Heat is on the secret menu and it's my go-to but before that I really enjoyed the "Up Yer Kilt". Also - they do homemade salad dressings and their salads are always very fresh and fairly portioned. I really love these guys and hope to see them continue to succeed moving forward.

I am a regular to this place, I’ve gone since they opened. I love the sandwiches here, my favourites are up your kilt and ooh la la. I do like Buffalo soldier for a variety since it’s a bit spicy. Take a look at their secret menu online as well. My son and I love their Mac and cheese and when I was pregnant I was addicted to their nachos with homemade nacho sauce ????. The owners are very nice and friendly as well as the staff. The cheesy pickup is a great addition to the downtown area and I’m all about supporting local! Give it a try!

I ordered the other day over the phone, first time trying, I ordered two grilled cheese, tomato soup & ceasar salad with homemade dressing-omg so good! ???????????? It was all phenomenal, I really reccomend you try, they put $5 worth of cheese on your sandwich ???? The woman who answered the phone was so kind and patient with me. Nice people, good service and excellent food!!! I only wish we lived in Orillia haha, t h a n k s a g a i n, stay safe ????????

The grill cheeses are amazing , and your sides are generous and yummy . The only suggestion I would have is a better ordering system. We were there during the sidewalk days downtown so it was rather busy. There were people there way before us that had order and were waiting they hadn’t gotten their sandwichs and we got our order before them. I mean it worked out in our favour but I felt bad for the people waiting. We will definitely be back however the oh la la grilled cheese was awesome!

This is a must stop if your in the area, hands down the best grilled cheese I have ever had! You get good food, a generous helping, and a drink for a very reasonable price. I had the turkey dinner grilled cheese and everything inside of it was incredible! I also bought a mini pumpkin pie which was to die for! This place is seriously awesome :)

Had a spectacular homemade dessert and tea. Limited seating, and a short wait to order ( It was the lunch hour, though ) displaced a fifth star rating. I will be back to sample some more of the menu!

I wanted to try it out so dragged my hubby. I had tomato soup which was homemade and so good. My hubby had the jerk chicken grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. He liked the mac and cheese, and thinks the grilled cheese is the best sandwich he's had. Excited to go back for more. The staff is great and helpful, overall great experience.

Awesome little spot for a quick sandwich and soup. Everything is made in house, so they’re very knowledgeable about what’s in their food. We’re able to accommodate my restrictions with GLUTEN FREE bread. They knew that I couldn’t eat the jerk chicken sandwich because of the soy sauce (not gluten free) in their seasoning, and their baked beans had Worcestershire sauce in them (not gluten free) so I had the coleslaw with my sandwich. Would go again!

First time eating here and will never do it again. My husband and I ordered the butter chicken sandwich - the chicken was dry - and then ooh la la with the bacon and syrup - the bacon was extremely undercooked. And the macaroni was disgusting! Not impressed.

Sandwiches are yummy, I'd honestly pay more if they were real deli size.. Like the ones you don't think your mouth is big enough. Mac and cheese was tasty but too runny, but I could dip my sandwich into it so it kind of worked out.

went with my wife before winter, every thing we ordered ended up having to be un-thawed from a freezer and heated up, butter chicken, tomato soup mac N cheese and what ever my wife ended up having I think she also had the tomato soup and a Buffalo Soldier. The soup was more like a salsa and less of a soup, texture and taste wise. My order tasted like freezer burn. I remember asking what they where doing when i ordered our food and they went and garbed a freezer bag and to my horror they said it was my butter chicken. its a shame google wont let me give zero stars.

I didn't enjoy my food from here, lack of toasting on the bread made for a soggy sandwich. The bread was thin and flavorless, this place could improve a lot just by using better bread and crisping the sandwiches for a little longer. I am disappointed, would return if own addresses concerns as they were very likeable people.

This is a cozy little joint to have some amazing grilled cheese with many options to make it a meal. The soup is great, the mac and cheese is great. But the GRILLED CHEESE IS AMAZING. I’ve had all but the butter chicken (which I hope to try soon) and they are all 10/10 for quality and taste. And really for under $15 you get a full and complete meal with a grilled cheese, soup, drink, and complimentary pickle (which is 100/10 for taste). Do yourself a favour and go!

One of my favorite lunch spots in town. The staff are incredible, super friendly, and welcoming. All menu items are great, but my go to is the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese. If you're looking for a nice homemade meal give them a shot.

Awesome Buffalo Soldier sandwich. The jerk sauce is excellent. Mac and Cheese is tasty and filling. Will be back to try the Jammin Jerk sandwich and homemade baked beans. Can't believe the great price!

yummy the jerk chicken grilled sandwich was the best ive ever had... the chicken was sooo moist not dried out at all! hope to have that one again sometime. already craving another only complaint would be the chili i got wasnt isnt very good, it looked great and it was a generous with lots of quality ingredients in it ... but has this overwhelming sweet flavour, very strange for a chili and i couldnt adapt to liking it that way . wish you had some different side options otherwise great service and cute atmosphere ! :)
