My family.and I decided to take advantage of an opportunity to have dinner in a snow globe. And what a breath of fresh air it was. The set menu offered us a change from our traditional menu. Great food, great portions and amazing atmosphere. Being able to make our own SMORES was the highlight of the night. Thanks for a great night out!

Bought the breakfast platter this morning and it was enough to feed 6 and some. ONLY $30. It came with sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast and none of the arrogance of Cora's. Great value, people and the biggest sausages i have ever had!!!

First off: HOLY FRENCH TOAST! I almost cried of joy when I was served that deliciousness. Great service, decent breakfast prices, and an awesome atmosphere. Lunch isn't as good as breakfast, but I'm partial to breakfast, so maybe I'm just biased. Definitely a great place to bring the family out too AND their coffee doesn't suck.

My 58th Birthday celebration on Saturday in the glorious afternoon sun! Drinks, food, and staff were all perfect! I can't wait to come back and take in the cozy huts, fire pits and friendly staff and owners we spoke with. They have tried so hard to keep the festive vibe on what was a very cold Saturday afternoon. Mini burgers wrapped in bacon were delicious! The Boneshaker IPA (which I've had before) was a bonus at the ice bar! See you all soon for more this year! Cheers

The winter dining experience was so fun! It was such a different and unique experience. The food was good - it's like mom's cooking. The bubbles outside are so cool. Each with their own heater and personal speaker to play whatever music you want. All around a good time.

The outdoor dining setup is pretty cool, well engineered for a temporary setup. We really wanted to like the food, but it fell short of expectation. It really needs to be elevated to the next level, it tastes like something you could prepare at home. We applaude the effort during covid, but I would give the food a pass.

What a unique and beautiful spot away from the hustle of downtown Orillia! Tammy and Chris (husband and wife) have built an incredible spot that runs a Hawaiian theme throughout the summer with cabanas, hula dancing and the bar built into a shipping container. Chris took the time to explain what they were building for Christmas, he is turning the whole place into a Winter Wonderland themed patio complete with individual huts for dining. It's incredible what can happen when two people share a passion and it's clearly on display here at Tammies Place. The food was delicious, I had the BBQ chicken, bacon, mushroom quesadilla and it was everything I wanted it to be - cheesy, full of protein and crispy on the edges. Their summer beer is the Fria Cerveza by Amsterdam Brewery which fits the theme to a tee! The service from Chase (their son) was impeccable and friendly. Chris said that next summer, they're potentially building a rooftop patio too, when that happens, this place is going to dominate Orillia - so get in here now while you can!

The cabanas are cute and give a fairly nice look and feel. The service was good, but the food fell short. Fettuccine sauce looked like it had cooled off and lumped a bit, and tasted like it was from a jar. The chicken in the fettuccine looked and tasted like overly processed pre cooked chicken and the veggies in the entree was 1 veg of about 2-3 spears of cut up asparagus. Wings were ok, a bit overly breaded, but sauce was good. Fries were nice and tasted like chip wagon fries which was a nice flavour.

Food is basic, nothing special. The service though is the worst. And the restaurant policies. Trying to be health? Want to skip the home fries and get tomato slices instead? Too bad, you will pay for both, NO substitutions. Giving up your toast and home fries? asking for 1 slice of tomato instead? Too bad, you will still pay for everything. Good luck getting more coffee (which is bad anyway) or getting anything other then what the menu states. No flexibility at all. Food is bad anyway. Time to go somewhere else. The waitresses and owners act like you are annoying them by being there. Food takes a looooooong time too and the place is incredibly loud. We had to yell to hear each other at the same table.

Cabanas were cute but food and drinks were not great. Fettuccine Alfredo looked like it had been sitting for a while and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Mojito was terrible. Tasted like tonic water and mint. Pickerel looked and tasted awful. Veggie quesadilla was decent. Would not go back.

Ordered a BLT for breakfast, was charged an extra 0.70$ die to item not being on breakfast menu but item was on the "all day available" list??? Then I took.off the slice of bread to put my mayo on only to find out there was only 1/2 slice of bacon. Asked waitress if this is supposed to be that way she asked manager and said it 2 slices of bacon per sandwich...showed her that in total my sandwich only had 1 slice. They said they would take plate back and not charge...at this point could not order anything else. All I wanted was for them to offer me at least the amount of bacon they claim they put in the sandwich...I had 1/2 of that??? Good customer service would have been for them to come back with a plate with a couple slices of bacon. Very poor customer service.

This place was so dirty I'm surprised they are not shut down my food was horrible the waitress kept flirting with my husband calling him hunny and whatever else so not appropriate and could care less to bring me a drink after asking three times but had no problem bringing my hubby a beer before serving time for alcohol what a joke it stinks probably the carpet that has not been cleaned in forever so dirty the health board should pay frequent visits to this place

I assumed because you need to prepay for the outdoor experience that we would have really enjoyed it. They do a beautiful job of making the domes. I thought it was going to be such a magical place to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. We all ordered different items off their prepaid menu and they were all microwaved when we received them. Not the kind of meal I expected at $45/person. I am sure the food was fresh at some point. But it was definitely not fresh last night.

Being a nice walk from home over, it felt so welcoming. Upon entering, I ordered their turkey pot pie $10 special, as well as their Tammies Burger. From the special, I went with their soup, and that tasted like a soup like no other. Fresh, delicious, and was better than what my mom would make. Then went for their Tammies Burger, and lets just say the mushrooms and onion together with the toasted bun and extra fresh beef altogether was a match made in heaven. Mushrooms on a burger are always a must for me, and it was perfection! The turkey pot pie with gravy on top was definitely the good finale there. The turkey was so tender and juicy-uicy in that, and in the end, even when they didn't have the key lime pie available, due to Kawartha's ingredient problem due to this COVID-19, I fully understood, and was super happy with my meal regardless. Service was fast, workers are super friendly, and the food is excellent overall. As promised, you got your 5 star review from me, and I'll definitely be coming back someday. Thank you for making my first time over be a great one, Tammies Place.
