We were well taken care of and even the band that kicked us off the stage at the back was kick ass. Attention to detail and a personal touch. Come here for big events, you won't be disappointed!

We Just finished our supper. I must say for the most part the food was good. My hubby always gets the porky burger & porky poutine! He seemed to have to chock it down tonight due to being spicy! (He likes spice) He isn't sure he will order it again. Our server well thats another issue. She walked by the empty glass 4 or 5 times. After both glasses sitting for 7 mins. Finally came over & asked if we liked some refills. My hubby sat for at lease 10 mins without a drink. No they where not busy! So not sure why? Its our anniversary & I must say this was rather disappointing.

Decent place, had their burgers at another location and loved it! Drinks were good, vibes are always great. Cheese fries were underwhelming (picture) the sauce was very runny. Don’t get the corn dogs .. they’re not great. The star of the show is the burger and that did not disappoint ! Lots of options for buns, sides and even proteins.

This is a quiet little burger bar found right in the heart of downtown. You better be craving a burger (since that's pretty much the only thing they serve apart from poutine and only a few other side dishes) since this place makes godly burgers. You'll be leaving this place depressed because of the fact that this is so far away from Toronto and you can't visit it on a regular basis. The prices are what you'd expect for a restaurant like this (around $15 for the burger) but by-god you'll be taken away to another planet when you take a bite of these burgers.

5 years ago when it first opened in Orillia they had great quality burgers great size and competitive. It used to be my go to. However now I feel as if I'm paying for an overpriced and more often than not overcooked patty. Overtime like the portions getting smaller the prices went up and I believe they changed there beef provider a few times either way I used to get excited when receiving a plate now its just sort of meh. I used to want to recommend this however lately I hardly think of it. Idk trying not to sound dickish but yeah gone downhill

Food is tremendous. The mozza and pickles were incredible. The burgers are excellent. Large selection of draft beers. The establishment also has a good feel. I can see myself coming for just a beer as well as bringing friends and family for lunch and dinner. Fully recommend. I will be coming back.

Where to begin? The stunning service, great recommendations, tantalizing menu or the drool-worthy, well-seasoned burgers? I loved them all. Jordan knew the menu, was totally open about what they did well, and didn't make in-house, and I went with his recommendation of the California burger (with bacon and avocado). You can select your meat (chopped up steak for the hamburger, but there's also fried chicken!), and then choice of bun (pretzel bun from Ace Bakery, thank you!). They have craft brews on hand which went perfectly. Andre was accommodating and incredibly nice. Best, too, was their woman bartender - whose name I've forgotten (sorry!). She was quick to reorder and replace drinks and did it in a busy bar with a smile and deft hand. If I had one thing to change it was the bright light for the kitchen and washrooms, which I wish could have been dimmed. As the light in the place was more muted, and table lights twinkled, and string lights created a party atmosphere as the band played, I loved the atmosphere. People were dancing and having a great time. Can't wait to come back.

My experience here was really at odds with the reviews of others. Burger was dry and overcooked, ingredients were not that inspired (i had the California burger) and fries were greasy, not crisp. I would give it 3 stars but at nearly $20/burger, you really need to be hitting it out of the park.

This place really lived up to its hype! The food is VERY tasty. The house blend beef is tender and tastes homemade. We had the Prime with pretzel bun and Californian in a flour wrap; both delish. Sides of onion rings and garlic parm fries also to die for. Jenna was our server and was both attentive and courteous - loved her!

The best take out! Easy to order and pick up via skip the dishes app. Only looks mangled because I forgot to take a photo before getting into it. Love the turkey burger and all of the gluten free options! Update: also dined in the restaurant and it was a great experience. Amazing wings and burgers. Nice mixed drinks. On a busy Friday night, I had one of best cheeseburgers I've had ever! Bun choices, meat choices, vast array of toppings, they kind of thought of every option imaginable. I ordered the Prime with Onion Rings. The beef is ridiculously good and the rings were just awesome. Honestly I was working there for the evening as part of the evenings' entertainment, but I'm a foodie and picky and so is my wife. This is truly worth a visit. We'll go back just for the food. Beer selection was also fantastic!

My wife and I both had the black bean quinoa burger which had very little flavor, nothing gave a punch or bite of flavor as well as coming with a less than expected salad size and only a few onion rings. The atmosphere of a band was too loud for talking and made sure at least one order was wrong. Many staff and customers were dressed and acting inappropriately; not family or formal friendly.

Stopped by on our way up to a wedding in Muskoka. Really enjoyed the ambiance and my burger was so tasty! I had a beef burger - Californian toppings with Onion rings on the side and enjoyed (almost) every morsel (portions are huge!). Would definitely stop by again when in the area. What a lovely gem! We loved this place. They have so many interesting burger combinations, and lots of options for vegetarians. You can build your own burger as well. Went there for a friend's birthday and it was the worst service ive ever recieved at a resturaunt. I never got the drink i ordered. Our server was not attentive we were constantly kept waiting. Now i would have understood waiting if the resturaunt was busy, but it wasn't. Instead our server was behind the bar texting. Worse service ever and we will not be returning.

As someone who has travelled around US and Canada eating gourmet burgers, this was a little bit of a let down. I'd heard a lot about this place from reviews and recommendations, but there was nothing special about their burgers. While they were good, but there could have been more flavour and my burger was sitting in a pool of it's own grease. The service was exceptable but was nothing out of the ordinary either.

Superb! We were going back to Toronto from Muskoka and found this beauty on the way. Great selection of beers and one of the best Mushroom Melt I have ever had. Environment inside is cozy and candle lights on tables at night adds more to it. Server we had was extremely nice and polite and smart enough to pass by to make sure everything is okay. Highly Recommended!

A bit expensive for what you get, but what you get is incredible. My only gripe about this place are the prices, but even then the burgers (let me tell you about the burgers) are amazing. Staff are average, I haven't had a bad experience in the few times I have been there. My food comes out hot and in a timely fashion though nothing stands out in the service area. Best burger place in town for sure though, if you have the money to accommodate it.

It was good. Thicker and more fries maybe 1/3 more. Burger is good maybe 1/8 more. Tastes great. I want a good burger with just enough quanity and great tatse. Your menus are conveluted and difficult to understand. Consider a revision (simplify) The service was good but too many workers standing around and it seemed each one served us. One server is sufficant and betters the experiance. Would I go back? Yes I would but the way it is I would not make it my up most place to go since there are other options, but I would go back. Now this is my opinon about my experiance and as about as honest as I can be from my point of view. I like it enough to bother writing this lengh of a review and believe it has potential to be great! If you change those things I will delete this review That would be out standing!!

Not only is Kensington Burger bar the probably the best Burger I've ever had in my life. I had a unique experience North of the city completely random from their restaurant. I was stranded and these gentlemen not only helped me and refused to my money the also brought me dinner and were so accommodating. I will also have to mention that I was surprised that their group of friends were so culturally diverse also surprising being as North as I was. In these uncertain times and with so many crazy people these are the people we should be promoting and supporting local small business who are accepting of all cultures and doing the right thing in their community. I will be completely committed to supporting them for the rest of my life for what they've done for me. Long live Kensington Burger bar !

Have been here a few times with friends and have yet to receive good service. Not that the servers are rude, but just absent because a lot of the staff and their friends go in to get hammered on their days off so that's where the focus is ????‍♀️ Waited half hour to pay the bill on the last visit, and then still had to go find the waitress just so we could leave. Always get some sort of mixup with orders, and I even got food poisoning from the pulled pork poutine once. Done giving this place chances, go to the Barrie location if you can, much better service.

Kensington is always a fun place to go. Their burgers are delicious and they have nice apresention. But they also have lots a healthy option which is good to see! Usually I get the grilled chicken with the house salad. Amazing any location I go! And their staff is all so friendly never got bad service. I go to the location in Barrie as well. Also for late night that's the pub to go to with live bands all the time. Is more a mature pub/club. I like the vibe their for late night as well!

GREAT!! The noteable part of my meal was portion size - it's not enormous - I was kind of expecting a huge dirty burger. I'm a big guy and I like to eat but I had the COWBOY BURGER - it was a modest size (EFFIN delicious) but plenty enough to make me feel satisfied without having to take a nap after. Quite often if you were to order a plain jane burger somewhere you'd be disappointed by the flavor and texture. So o often burger places count on the extras to hide the meat..in this restaurant I highly recommend doing exactly that so that you can appreciate the quality ingredients. Couldn't be happier! I've also had the Californian which was also excellent! And the way the chef cooks thte burger cannot be beat (medium to medium rare), please don't change it!

Great fries and friendly service, but their vegetarian and vegan options leave much to be desired. Their only veggie burger consists of quinoa and black beans on a bun. It's supposed to be a patty, but any time I've ever had it, it falls apart and turns to mush between the buns and the texture is enough to make me gag. Also they've recently advertised for their meat burgers, while putting down vegan options and ridiculing veganism through their advertisement and I really don't appreciate this approach. Be welcoming to everyone and try to have an option for everybody.

The very best "homemade"....really, not premade, HOMEMADE!... hamburger ever ....just like mama used to make from scratch! Every kind of topping is offered... excellent. The poutine is exceptional. For hamburger lovers, "Kensington Burger Bar" should top your choices.

Food was amazing , love the choice of beer, any where that sells Beaus has my vote. Service was slow first time only got one beer the entire time I was there - sat at the bar and my server never came back another server brought my food no one asked how it was or came back had to get their attention to get my bill - server was to busy talking to others and it wasn't even busy compared to the Barrie location. Second time going same story-except got one beer refill when my food was finally ready. Overall great food just bad service

My bf and I ordered take out and this is what our food looked like when we opened it up. Our fries were over cooked and my chicken fingers were black. Everything was burnt. His onion on his burger was this tiny little circle. I feel like no care was given tonight. Every other time I had a good experience but not tonight.

Ever since trying this place for the first time, it has easily become a favorite of mine and my fiance. Great food (pricey but worth it), comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and short wait for delicious food! Every burger we've had has been wonderful and with so many options you would be hard pressed not to find one you and your friends will all enjoy! Highly recommend the garlic parm fries and ALL of their poutines.

Love the burgers here are they are 100% customizable. You can choose your meat, bun, and toppings and they are just awesome. Not absurd prices but if you want a cheap burger then you need to look elsewhere because these are glorious and gourmet!

We went here for dinner last night (Saturday). It wasn’t busy, we walked in and got seated right away, shift changed must have just happened because we were placed by the bar and listened to nothing but the employees gossip about another coworker that was getting fired (or had been fired) either way it was non stop... everytime a new worker came in the whole story got brought up again. What shocked me the most was none of them realized how annoying and unprofessional they were being. Won’t go back, my fiancé made a comment saying “ wow this would be a dramatic place to work”.

Met my son and niece for a quick bite and a drink. The food was pretty good but the service..was great! Friendly, fast..even picked up and moved a chair for me to sit on when I was not sure where to sit due to co vid. Asked if food was ok, checked up on us without being over the top. Lunch was really outstanding. Skip the lines at Webers and come here for a genuinely great burger. Hip, modern decor and friendly service. Was just driving through so didn't drink but looked like a great line up of beers on tap too. Open one in Sudbury plz!

ordered a pound of wings and fries delivery through skip the dishes. Wings are a disgrace to the culinary world: so small hardly any substance or meat to them. The fries seemed to be bottom of the bag, end of the bucket, small, piddly, scraps. also they forgot the single serving of utensils.

It was a group of us and we ordered different items, burgers, wings, salads, and it was all very tasty. The serving sizes were pretty good. Everyone enjoyed their food. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in town. The servers were friendly and patient.
