Great little coffee shoppe located a little out of the way in Stittsville. But it's very much worth the trip. They serve great coffee and homemade goodies as well as a few sandwich options. Their tuna melt is quite possibly the best I've ever had! I also love their scones - worth every bite! They have a nice sunny patio out back where they allow dogs to enjoy a rest while their humans enjoy a treat. A nice touch. There's also a huge parking lot in the back that has recently been expanded. It used to be a pretty tight fit in there! They also have quiz nights and events in the evening but I haven't had the pleasure as of yet. The only reason they don't have 5 stars is because I wish they had a little more lunch food variety. I figure they want to keep it simple and I respect that because everything tastes excellent.

Good coffee and specialty drinks. Limited seating but a good spot to come and go for coffee. The time I visited it was scorching hot inside for some reason where it kinda ruined the experience. Inside looks nice with a focus of wood decor. Would definitely visit again.

Also, great summer spot... sitting on the patio with coffee and/or beer for the grown ups while the kids eat ice cream, fun for all. Cute and cozy indoor seating area too. Yummy treats. My family and I make a special trip here from Kanata, despite having a Starbucks on every corner. It's exactly what Stittsville needed in terms of coffee and atmosphere - as is evident by the packed shop. Arrive early morning for a quiet space. And, if you are inclined, order the almond milk latte. YUM.

Great little spot! It was a bit busy and got a little warm but they cracked the door and moved people through pretty efficiently. We sat at a communal table and our food took a touch longer than I’d hoped but it was delicious so totally worth it! Lots of vegetarian options on the menu.

Pilot coffee is so smooth and actually has the flavour they describe on each package. As a result the cappucino is superb as well. You can buy different variants. Heritage is the best overall and what they use if you order and coffee. But we have enjoyed nearly everyone we have tried at home. The cafe is very cozy and even has a patio outside. It's very busy on weekends otherwise not a problem getting a seat. God desserts as well!

Excellent capuchino and cookie. Stopped here while waiting for my wife after seeing positive reviews on Google maps. Strange location to find an atmosphere that might be in one of Toronto's hip districts. One more star would require more comfortable chairs and better (quieter) acoustics.

People just remember this is a small business it’s not a Starbucks. Don’t sit around a leach without at least getting a second coffee. Coffee is great by the way. Highly recommend Saturday trivia, if that’s your thing!

Great local place in Stittsville. Very popular meeting place for the locals with great coffee and treats. Right next to the trans Canada trail so you can pick up your favourite coffee and head out for a walk, ski, snowshoe on the trail.

I LOVE Quitters. I'm from Ottawa but moved to Edmonton recently and still, it's my favourite place to come when I'm home. The price is similar to Starbucks, so if you can afford that - this is the place to go. Tons of seating inside and out, amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches (Ham + Brie is my fave!), the best staff that always make you feel like you're at home and of course, the coffee is always fantastic. I can't say a single thing bad about this place - oh, and they even serve alcohol if you should wish! Of all the coffee shops I've been to across this country, Quitters is my fave and the only one that I don't have to listen to my own music because theirs is better ;). Worth the trip, hands down!

Coffee shop is amazing, my only complaint is the lack of phone to call and check if they are open. They host events but I personally find it difficult to find out about them if they are open events or closed to the public. Apart from that, phenomenal local coffee shop with a beautiful patio.

The non franchise coffee shop strives to differ however their attitude is not the best. Went ther in a morning to work for couple of hours, it wasn't very busy however, I couldn't connect to the internet. I went to ask about it, the girl at the bar told me that they have a limited amount of connections. When I argued that this is not an acceptable situation and I won't be able to come back she said "That's fine". They have another wifi but wouldn't share that password :( Well, if you plan to go there to work remotely scratch this place from the list. Phone signal in the building is also poor so tethering might also be tricky. I know my review won't dent their reputation as the older crowd of rural Stittsville is keeping them well afloat!

I love the concept of the coffee house but unfortunately the breakfast is not that great. Especially if u like having options of different types of eggs with your breakfast coz the ONLY option you have is to have an egg cooked in an oven -BORINGGG. Coffee blend they use has a sour after taste which some people may like but is not for me. I will stick to my starbucks Gold Coast :)

I'll be honest, I've never had a caffeinated beverage here and my experience has been strickly limited to the evening hours enjoying a pint or two. And for this - 5 stars! A wonderfully refreshing alternative to any franchised coffee shop. Located in the heart of 'old' Stittsville, the vintage building it occupies adds to the warmth of the rustic and cozy interior. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There's a huge selection of coffee, teas and other beverages to choose from, a display counter full of sweets and baked treats along with tasty and reasonably priced breakfast and lunch menu. In terms of accessibility, the back entrance is accessible by mobility devices, but there is no button on the door.

If that makes sense) Experience: 4/5 - Very good service with nice staff! - It was VERY busy, came at around 12:30 on a weekday, so wouldn't reccomend that time. Menu: 4/5 - Medium/large sized portions make for a good lunch. Probably won't be too hungry after a meal here. - Fairly priced ???? - Food was very yummy - Got an iced coffee with oat milk.. they pulled a Starbucks and did about 50% ice, so that was no good - coffee beans they sell in a bag to take home is some of the best in Ottawa. (Strongly recommend that) about $17 or so for I believe an 8oz bag

Quitters is such a stand out place in Stittsville. Not only is the cafe just really cool itself, the quality of all the drinks is outstanding. I have never tried their food so I can’t comment on it, but I’ve had their coffee, London fog, hot chocolate, and peppermint mocha among others. Would recommend this to people who want to have a nice chat and/or need a place to study. Free Wifi also!

Such a cute little place. I wouldn't have expected anything different from Kathleen Edwards. It feels the way her music sounds. Homey and natural. It's quirky and fun and intimate, perfect for meeting friends. It's unfortunate that it's in Stittsville, but maybe that's part of its charm.

Great place to stop in for coffee and cake. In the summer the ice cream van is out back selling Carp Creamery ice cream. Lots of space to park your bike out back now that they have made it bigger. I only wished they sold coffee roasted in or around Ottawa. We have a number of good roasters that means there is no need to go to Toronto.

Cute place out in Stittsville. Has a Laberge back alley patio area with picnic tables where you can take you me coffee. Still open during the COVId situation and the coffee is really great along with the nice atmosphere. If you are going to snack on anything there do the lemon bread/cake, it has a really nice quality lemon flavour with a good level of sweetness.

Cute little cafe in Stittsville. It’s a local favourite by many. Been here a couple of times for lunch meet up with friends. Lots of seating area outside in the back along with ample parking. I’ve only gotten their brewed coffee and iced chai. Standard tasting drip coffee in my opinion. Their iced chai is very tasty and not too sweet. Recently went for lunch a few weeks ago and got a wrap. Sandwiches and wraps are delicious. A bit sad that my wrap didn’t come with kettle chips like the lunch specials used to :(

Really nice place, coffee is amazing. Only thing is that their lemonade is only partially pasteurised, so not the best choice if you've got a compromised immune system. Great place to bike to!

Okay, first off I LOVED this place. Discovered it by accident while killing time before an appointment. I'm a little concerned the staff are drugged/robots in disguise as they are too happy and helpful (if they are on drugs can I have some as I would love to be that happy). Coffee was really good and on par price wise with other upscale coffee places. Atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. Planning when I can make it back there with my husband.

so I walk in and order coffee, and I tip the baristas, and I was nice enough to sit in the far hidden corner during this trivia night that i didn’t know about just to give people their space, only to have this girl barista come and tell me and my friend, and I quote “next time if you’re staying this late you have to order more stuff, cause it’s busy and some of our customers don’t have chairs to sit” I look around and I see everyone is sitting down, not one soul is standing up. I barely saw anyone “ordering more stuff” and lastly for her to say “our customers”? what am I then? Is the coffee I have in my hand for free? Next time? I assure you there won’t be a next time, I’ve worked in customer service and as far as I know, this is a red flag. Making a customer feel unwelcomed and more of a burden

Went here during a Saturday afternoon in the summer and the place was very busy. Parking in the back was full, luckily someone left as we arrived otherwise it would be difficult to find parking. There was a bit of a line up to order however it went pretty fast. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich, salted caramel cookie and a cappuccino. The food is great, prices are reasonable and the place has good vibe to it. The place has some tables outside during the warmer weather and the best part is that it’s dog friendly.

Such a great spot! Had a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich and the wife had a Breakfast English Muffin. My sandwich tasted great AND value for portion was spot on. They have all your typical coffee choices plus Nitrogenated Coffee on draught. This was something I never experienced, tried it and it was really good! Like Guinness coffee without the alcohol. They do have a few beers on tap, Ottawa Valley locals at the time. Tall can selection of Ottawa Valley brews, I had the Calabogie Chocolate Milk Stout... Love those guys. Finished things off with a butter tart, I don't want to sound like I'm upping the place like crazy but it was the best butter tart I've had in over a decade. I feel like there's a touch of cinnamon or something that makes it a little more distinguishable. The have merch on sale some sporting their nifty logo. Next time I'm in I'm going to get a onesie for my son. The place is clean, the decor of nice wood and rustic furniture is a great touch. There's a patio on the back that isn't licensed but hey you can't win it all..... The staff were really friendly and engaging. All in all this is an excellent addition to Stittsville, and one that I will now be frequenting often. A great cafe indeed!

Chairs by window had rips in the material When I asked for help with wifi answer was just keep trying, which I did with no success. Will not be going back.

Small gem, excellent for cyclist heading for a 100 km ride from Ottawa. Its one of our go to place. Dedicated bike space and great coffee and even local beers. I have been a regular here since they opened, and Quitters has evolved quite a bit since then. Although I understand and sympathize with their decision to remove Wi-Fi access during lunch hours to allow more space for diners, it is definitely worth noting that Quitters is no longer somewhere you can come at lunch hour to get a bit of office work done. They also removed the Romesco sandwich from the menu which bummed me out a bit, but the veggie wrap is almost as good and the beer selection is always interesting

The place is spacious and the tables are big, perfect for those who come to work. There's a free parking in the backyard. Although it's 30 minutes away from where I live, I enjoy going there. My fav spot in Ottawa. PS: ask the staff about the name of the cafe, very interesting story.

Cute cafe and I love the idea of it being a bar/venue at night. We visited for the first time this past Saturday, as part of our efforts to support local businesses. However, the espresso we ordered was, by far, the worst we have ever tasted. The iced coffee was just ok. The cinnamon bun was amazing, though. And it's nice that they're dog friendly. YMMV, maybe it was an off day, but we won't be back.

Great place, environment and food. It's cool inside with all of the original things used as part of the décor. The staff are nice the food is good, although their hours are a bit odd and once I threw up in the evening after eating there earlier in the day. Not sure if it's connected. However, it's a great place and a major hangout in Stittsville. I would recommend it.

My favourite local coffee shop in Ottawa! They have a great black bean burger and my favourite cappuccinos. I love the vibe and wish they were open on Sundays and Mondays! They have a great outdoor seating area and they welcome puppers of all sizes in the summer time. I love the service and the food!

Quitters is the best coffee shop in Stittsville. Local, great selection of food -I tried the bean burger, harvast salad, a mushroom soup and the breakfast wrap on different occasions and they were excellent. I love the chocolate pumpkin spice loaf (seasonal)! Chai latte is also great, delicious and creamy. I honestly haven't tried anything at Quitters that wasn't good. Parkign at the rear with a rear door for entrance (no need to use the main entrance door).

Quitters Coffee is the most AMAZING place to visit to get a coffee. It is the cutest little shop with the most delicious coffee and the friendliest staff. The pastries are great and they have a wonderful selection of coffee and lattes. It's a bit far from me, but completely worth the drive. I've dragged a couple of friends with me and they've loved it too! Trivia night is the best!

Arrived at 6:30 and they close at 7. All the cookies were already put away. When I asked if they could show them to my son (9), it seemed like this huge deal and one staff reprimanded the other for honoring my request. While we were eating our cookies, the staff cleaned up and closed up shop which made me feel super unwelcome. Definitely won't go back.

GREAT food, from a limited but healthy and fresh menu (sandwiches and salads, that sort of thing), super coffee, plus local beers and wines. Pleasant interior and a large patio area out back, much of it under a pergola - wonderful on a nice warm day, order food and pick up drinks inside and the food is delivered to your table when it's ready. Friendly and competent staff. I've been twice and quite enjoyed both times, so I recommend it! Next to a park and bike trail, with lots of bike parking in the back next to the patio.

cute cafe that's always packed. good coffee and alright food, but the food is extremely overpriced; $10 for a small sandwich and chips. odd that they use pilot coffee from toronto instead of supporting a local ottawa roaster. the pilot coffee sold here was often a month off roast and now pilot doesn't even print the roast date on bags anymore.
