I tried their Yemen coffee and never have I been moved so deeply by a bean before. I was thinking about it for days afterwards until I managed to justify spending that much money on a bag of coffee. It’s beyond coffee.. something more complex and tantalizing.. something that keeps you awake at night. As for their service: it matches the high standard set by the coffee. The staff are well-informed about what they sell and are happy to educate you about what you are buying. They look really cool but there is no “too cool to be friendly” attitude about these noble baristas. Unfortunately, it will be a while before I buy another bag of coffee from them. The only problem was: it was so next level delectable that I tripled my coffee intake. As I mentioned: their coffee was so good that it keeps you awake at night. I learned this firsthand. God bless you Ethica Coffee Roasters, for you are the kind of coffee and roasters that make me believe in a God.

A hidden gem a little off the main roads surrounding. Great coffee and fresh tasty baked goods. Nice and relaxed vibe to hang out in.

As lovers of good coffee, this is one of the best places we have been able to find to enjoy fresh coffee, freshly roasted and ground. It is a quiet place, with a very good service and attention.

It's tucked away off Bloor, so not line of sight for passersby looking for a good cuppa, so hoping that this review will help put it on people's radar. I've only tried their Ethiopian roast and savory pastries but both were phenomenal. Beautiful space with designated seating for both teleworkers and for those who'd rather not be be around laptops.

I stopped by yesterday to pick up some beans, and you get a free coffee with each bag purchased! I decided to try a coffee using the beans I just purchased, and unfortunately, they were a little too adventurous for me. I mentioned this to the staff, and exchanging it was not a problem. In fact, we nerded out over coffee and Ali took the time to make me a pourover of his favourite bean to make sure I was going to bring home a bag I was happy with. He really cares and his passion for coffee shows. All staff were pleasant and helpful and I couldn't have asked for a nicer experience. Thank you for making wonderful coffee!

Ethica Coffee Roasters is an absolutely unique coffee experience Once you try it there, you won’t be able to drink anything else Cappuccino on Ethiopian beans with an almond croissant is my to go choice! ☕️???? Meanwhile the place itself reminds of a little museum, considering how many art pieces and collaborations with local artists are displayed there Highly recommended!

Went for couple times for their Yemen coffee beans and special menu in summer! Great time and will be back. Yes, Yemen is seasonal coffee beans. If you like it and see it, buy one before it’s gone.

It was my first time visiting today! I live in the East end and checked it out after visiting MOCA across the street. The coffee and food were delicious, and the baristas were very friendly. They even explained the flavour notes of the coffee beans they had for the day.

Probably the best cold brew I've had, ever. I'm a coffee geek, so this says a lot about how serious they are. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular. I almost don't want to talk about the service, but even that they did well, offering suggestions on the retail bags on the wall and just talking shop with me. Keep up the good work!
