Ordered black Americano and coconut milk mocha latte, both not bad but I prefer the americano more. It was fresh ground coffee, it was bitter and sour, but I like it. The coconut milk mocha latte was a bit sweet. Overall it’s a pretty good place to visit especially when you are commuting from far away.

Was asked for my order: chia tea latte, AND then the barista asked the people behind me if they wanted coffee (he was grinding some) which all 5 did, so I was asked to let them go ahead of me bc their order was quick! I was on a work break and didn’t have time to wait around for their coffee, food orders, and debit transactions when I arrived and tried to order a head of them. Rude servers and rude customers for not standing up for me! I walked out and went back to work. Lost a customer forever and If anyone asks, I’ll share my experience

LOVVVE this place! Such a nice atmosphere and the owners put a lot of emphasis on the environment!! Great environment, pleasing to the eye and soul. Any coffee lover will love the smell in here. The owner is passionate about coffee in the ingredients that he uses. To paraphrase him "I've been doing this all my life. If it's not done right, then why bother doing it?" Amazing that it is open during the pandemic. He truly cares about his regulars and their well-being. An extensive menu, there is something for everyone, even if you don't drink coffee. He sells beans and I believe there is a grinder in store, although freshly ground beans are best. I've worked as a barista for 3 years and know what it takes to keep your customers coming back. Blackwater Coffee Co. is a place I will definitely visit again and again.

Blackwater has been in Sarnia for probably more than a decade (although it wasn't always in this location). The coffee is great, and I suggest the Vietnamese iced coffee if you like your coffee to taste like coffee and also be super sweet at the same time. Atmosphere wise it's very comfortable but because of the small space the seating is a bit minimal. During the Summers though they will move some tables and chairs outside for patio seating. And whoever puts the music on when I'm there has A++ taste.

Nothing's better than ordering an espresso from the man who selected the beans, roasted them, ground them, and pulled your shot. It's a rare chance even among fancier coffee stores. Well worth a special trip. And they have fresh roasted decaf for you evening strollers downtown.

Great coffee that is roasted in-house, in a comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. A great place to bring a book or a laptop to work while you enjoy the coffee. Big door in the front roll up in the summer to open a small sidewalk patio. Americanos or cappuccinos are great here!

Not sure how many stars to give here. I had THE BEST cappuccino of Sarnia with THE WORST brownie I ever had. I love coffee, so I'm keeping 4-stars at this time. I'll be back to try something else to eat. Hopefully, it was just a bad choice today. Hi Dave, Thank you for reaching out to me. We were at Sarnia's location. There are a few reasons why we did not like the brownie: 1. Over sweet 2. It was dry, maybe/probably old. 3. There was a crost of sugary/fat chocolate on top that is extremely sweet. 4. There was an extra liquid chocolate put on top that is also very sweet. 5. It was very hard, difficult to cut or eat. 6. The sign said it would have expresso on it but it didn't seems like. 7. It was extremely overpriced for the quality displayed. I hope it has helped you to understand my point regarding the brownie. Thank you for checking in.

LOVE THIS SPOT!!! Found this after a Google search for coffee houses in the area! Was so impressed that we came here every day while on vacation. The staff are amazing especially Rafi who made us feel so at home and upon every subsequent visit went out of her way to talk to us. The coffee is superb. The fact that the roasting is done in house with rich quality beans makes it a must try. We even bought several bags of coffee to take with us. Highly recommend this place. They even offer some gluten free options in baked goods. Very cool atmosphere with outstanding friendliness.

Good coffee, good service. As coffee goes there is only one place I've had better in Sarnia which happens to be downtown as well, but they don't have the same hours so Blackwater is my regular backup. The options are nice, but occasionally because they do caraffe's for regular coffee during the day the coffee can be a bit cool from time to time. Love that they roast locally but I'd love it more if I could have it piping hot every time. Their light roasts tend to be closer to a medium, but other than that, good coffee.
