Finally a coffee shop that gives you a chance to experience the brewing process from start to finish! Juan was amazing, I was able to choose my beans, discuss how I like the flavor, figured out the best brewing method and then made the coffee right in front of my eyes. An experience like this is not meant for everyone, but if you have a deep appreciation for coffee, I highly recommend visiting Vereda Central.

Vereda is a cute little coffee shop in Kerr Village. We weren’t allowed to dine in but they were offering beverages to go. We had a matcha latte, the flavour was good but I was expecting latte art as featured on their Instagram. We had a tasty white chocolate macadamia cookie as well.

Out of being very objective the coffee here was FANTASTIC (I had a flat white). Probably best flat white I’ve had in Oakville. The blueberry danish was good. Prices are decent $9 for a coffee and dessert. Main reason for a 4 star seats and seating area could benefit from better cleaning and dusting.

The best cafe in Oakville! The owners put such care into everything they do. The decor is cheerful but very homey. Everyone has a smile in the space, and is so friendly. It feels almost like visiting family. Their coffee is the highest quality and ethically sourced directly from farms in Colombia. They know each farmer by name and have their stories written all over the cafe. If I lived closer I would be there every day for sure.

Best. Coffee. ???? Support them and you won't be disappointed! I've been getting the odd coffee here when I feel like a treat instead of brewing a mediocre pot myself. The coffee - however you like it - is phenomenal. You can tell these guys know how to roast and brew. It is so smooth and balanced from the first sip through to the last. Since the Covid shutdown they have become more of a staple. My coffee maker broke and I've been getting my fix every morning thanks to the wonderful people at Vereda Central. It has been 5 weeks since my coffee maker broke and I still haven't replaced it. 'Nuff said! Before the closures my wife would love to work from there. Great atmosphere filled with bright sunshine and some sweet tunes that transport you to the foreign lands they source the beans from. And of course they practice socially responsible partnerships with their suppliers. There's also a great selection of little pastries, Oko bagels and other small cafe snacks like breakfast sandwiches and empanadas. All of which have proven delicious. I love this place and everything they're about. Awesome job Vereda team!

A fine café. Style and most of all, substance. Customer service is what it's about as well. These are some factors, no matter what era or period we're in, but even moreso now in the coronavirus era. And even more now that we must support our national, especially our local and independent "mom n pop" businesses because it ultimately ends up affecting us all. In this case, it's not just supporting Vereda Central, but it's simply knowing that you're purchasing Colombian coffee - need I say more?! Fine coffee, but fine finished product and roasting from this great local place. Because this place is about style and substance, I still recommend purchasing their beans and enjoying it anytime you like, on days when you feel like just being cozy at home.

If you’re a real coffee lover and you haven’t tried this place, you’re missing our big time. This Kerr St green dwarfs most other places I’ve been to. The coffee is perfect (tried a couple of them), the croissant and lemon cake were soooo good as well. Additionally, the seating is comfortable and the barista was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is definitely one of the best coffee places I’ve tried. Thinking of going back tomorrow ;) I even took home some of the coffee brand to try at home (Palestina coffee). I’m pretty sure that almost any coffee you try will score full marks. To cut a long story short, any Oakvillian HAS to try this coffee. Thank you Vereda for giving me a reason to drive across town to grab a cup of coffee ????????☕️

This is a really great space to get some studying done. Vereda offers plenty of space including tables, chairs, and comfy couches. The space upstairs is my favourite. There are plenty of drink options here, lots of coffee options, tea options, and herbal options like golden turmeric lattes. All drinks can be made with plant milks. There are lots of snack options here, with a few vegan options as well. There is a vegan protein breakfast cookie, and they also carry sweets from the earth vegan cookies (so far I have seen the Smores flavour offered). This is my favourite coffee shop in all of oakville and I recommend this place to everyone.

Kat was amazing at explaining the types of beans and what differences they make in flavour. As a first time visit I was pleased and excited to experience such service. I saw around the shop that they placed 1st in top coffee in Oakville and I would have to agree. Such a great cup of coffee I didn't need any honey with my usual latte. -Such a flavourful taste. A lot of seating for customers who enjoy to sit and relax, WIFI access. Warm indoors for the cold months. The only thing I would like to see in the future is no plastic lids for on-the-go cups. Other than that, I have nothing to critique. Service and quality was top notch from beginning to end.

Everything was excellent. Cortado, whole grain croissant (better than it sounds!), chocolate croissant - all excellent and fresh. The place was immaculate, nicely decorated, safe for pandemic standards. And the barista (I forgot her name but she had a rainbow/unicorn mask) was extremely polite. My only regret us that we have been in the neighborhood for over a year and just now found this place.

Had to find a decent espresso place in Oakville for coffee and decided to stop in at Vereda Central for a caramel latte. In short, the barista that served me was very friendly although he was very busy he managed to bust out a fantastic latte. I'm pretty sure they use top quality caramel to because it tasted much smoother than most I've had which tend to sit heavy in the stomach for me. They have an in house grinder for their own coffee beans (not sure if roasted in house but probably not) and a nice looking double espresso machine. I'm happy to see a place with a well-experienced barista who seemed to be enjoying his job. Other perks of this place is that they are right on a main street in Oakville (Kerr), with free wifi and a variety of indoor and outdoor seating. Good place to sit down and work or go for a casual meeting. Everyone lined up there seemed happy to wait for a good coffee which is hard to find now in Oakville. Forgot to take a picture but definitely will next time I visit.

The coffee here is one of the best I've ever had, definitely a must-try if you're in the area! One minor hiccup is their app, I had (still have) a 'ready to redeem - free drink' but for some reason it was not registering on their iPad. I showed the barista my phone app, the email I was sent and the expiry date of the voucher, but she did not seem too interested in helping with the issue. Hopefully it works on my next visit :)

The owner/barista is so nice and welcoming, he gave us a nice tour and showed us his 3 types of coffee beans he roasts. The flat white I had was so smooth and perfectly made. The inside decor gives you the feeling that you are at a house and not inside a cafe. Highly recommended!

A fantastic coffee roaster and shop in the heart of Kerr village! This place truly impressed me. The venue has a feel almost like entering a home, with plenty of table and seating space. Everything is neatly decorated in a minimalistic fashion, yet very elegant. The coffee is some of the best in Oakville. Roasted in-house and sourced from different regions of Colombia. Each roast has a name of either a province or region of the country, with very specific details about the bean, the roast and where it comes from. I tried their Sierra Nevada roast on a pour over, and all I can say is that it was a superb cup of coffee. I can’t wait to come back and try their espresso. The service was excellent as well, the barista was friendly and knew her craft. Can’t wait to come back! 10/10

With the various covid restrictions, we have been ordering our beans online from Vereda. They offer free local delivery, and it has always been very prompt (on occasion, the same day the order was placed)! Would absolutely recommend online purchases and local delivery from them.

While their selection of coffee beans to take home isn't extensive, the staff really understand their craft and are usually friendly and knowledgeable enough to talk your ear off about coffee making if you ask. Wonderful service, good coffee. Definitely a good location if you want to make a good impression on someone (s.o/date/friend/boss etc)

This is by FAR my favourite coffee in the GTA. Hand roasted by the owner. I buy the beans and make it at home on the days I can't make it in person. The staff are so so friendly and the coffee is divine! I love the pour over experience, which is so unique and fun! And I love that you pick your roast for your espresso - light, medium and dark (I think those are the three - I always pick dark! Lol.). I am so happy they opened a second location near me at Upper Middle Plaza. :)

Absolutely the best cafe/coffee shop/roaster out there. The owners are very personable and very customer service oriented. And they really know their coffee. Since we discovered them we don't go anywhere else. They also have a nice upstairs area with a comfy couch and a big table for groups or friends/family get togethers. Can't reccomend this place enough.

We soon as we walked in, I felt great energy. My mother and I went for the first time and tried their Matcha and Turmeric Latte, and their chocolate chunk gluten free cookies. SOOO delicious! Will definitely be going back for more to try some other goodies and coffee. Great little location too in Oakville. :)

I come here to work. Plenty of plugs, comfortable chairs and desks. Free parking on residential streets nearby. It’s great.

I visited Vereda Central recently looking for some Columbian coffee beans for my Chemex. I've been looking "high and low" for a good Columbian coffee, and after speaking with the owner, he recommended La Aguada. I brewed some up when I got home and all I can say is "WOW", what an excellent cup of coffee. Vereda Central is my new "go to" coffee supplier serving up quality coffee and fabulous service.

My favorite coffee spot!!! They have amazing roasts and the finest staff you can find. The owner and his family are incredible, soo friendly and kind. The brew is spot on everytime, the treats are also fantastic, everything from rosemary and sea salt bagels to empanadas along with delicious treats that cover all aspects of your cravings.
