As of day the business receives a rating of 4.5 stars over 5 and this score has been calculated on 40 reviews.

You may have noticed that the average of ratings is nearly the top, and it is founded on a large number of reviews, so we may think that the score is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

As you know, we do not usually bother to place reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

The coffee is fantastic and worth every penny. I ordered two bags of coffee for pickup - the Two if by Sea blend, and the Figurehead filter blend. Pickup was super simple, and they ensured proper social distancing by placing it in our trunk. I will definitely be ordering again!

Great coffee and bakery. The prosciutto & provolone croissant was incredible.

They have some good coffees! Some of their single-origins are the closest thing to third-wave roasts I've found in Nova Scotia—if you buy it fresh at their roastery. But they stopped printing the roast date on the bags: if you're buying at a grocery store you have no way of knowing whether the coffee was roasted this week or 6 months ago. Yes, there are still businesses (etc, ahem) who believe that hiding important information will improve their relationships. Five stars for their best roasts when fresh, two stars off for the position that they are better off when their customers know less. The message that they would rather trick us into paying a premium price for stale old stock than help us brew the best cup possible is received loud and clear.

Coffee was great. Taking away a couple stars because I also bought some coffee and asked for them to grind it for a hario pour over, but they they ground it much much finer (it's maybe suitable for an aeropress, but will likely still be bitter). Hope to update this if/when I go again

It's our Downtown Gem. Coffee, Tea, Treats that you can only get here!! Make an effort and get down there if you're reading this and haven't been.

Heard great reviews. Unfortunately I never had same experience. Bought nighthawk dark roast. Turned out to be a tasteless blonde. Made complaint and in the end the response was "we dont roast our beans to a true dark roast so if you desire a true dark roast not to use anchor coffee". My customer service only got worst from there. Hopefully my experience is one of a kind because I've worked the customer service industry for years and this was one of the worst experiences I've had.

Cute space, friendly vibe, and super helpful owners. Wish that the bulk order of coffee had been smaller but it is a charming local brand and everyone always loves their product.
