Relaxed cafe with good coffee. Plenty of room to sit inside or outside if you're thinking of getting a group together. They made a mistake on my friends coffee order and I found a hair in my Danish but they quickly apologized and fixed the problem. However, I'm disappointed with their Danishes because they are completely hollow

Meeting place for me and a dear friend always. Ordered tuna melt and figs / goat cheese pizza. Delicious. The pair of servers, a young man and a young woman very friendly and nice. To end we had a creme brule and apple pie. Good prices .

Literally, the best cafe in North York area. All staff are very kind and the taste of food is good as well. Above all, the cafe provides customers with a fast wifi Internet connection which is really great for studying. Honestly, it's difficult to find a better place than this cafe. Highly recommendable. ????

I go here pretty often with my mom. We’re usually there in the evening and it’s rarely crowded. It’s very nice for a pretty quiet coffee and snack. The food selection isn’t huge, but what they have is good. I haven’t had breakfast there, but they do serve it. The staff are very friendly young people and there are often a couple of students in the cafe doing some studies. They have wifi (ask for password) and when the weather is good, you should take advantage of the patio. They also have the option of lactose free milk in their drinks, if this is something that is important for you.

Amazing little place tucked away on Finch W. We discovered this on our way back from a disappointing Foodalicious festival in Downsview park and had our best meal of the day here. Its got that 'cozy' feel to it, good coffee and good desserts to go along. Also seemed to have great food / bfast options, although I didnt try those. Definitely plan to go back to try those someday.

Wonderful place, very comfortable with lots of comfortable seating. Baked goods were fresh and very delicious looking. Ordered a London Fog and it was done to my tastes. If you're looking for a quick coffee or a place to relax I would recommend it.

Great breakfast spot nestled on the corner. I love that this little cafe isn’t bombarbed by a lot of stores and traffic. The atmosphere is just right here. Went back a few days after a while and I still enjoyed it just like my other visits. Great place to meet up with friends for coffee/cappuccino and a snack. I recommend Canephora!

I have been going to Canephora for brunch for several years, and always enjoy the food, as well as the cheerful ambience and friendly staff. The free wi-fi and the bright views through the windows, as well as the TV always showing the news, make Canephora a nice place to relax and visit with friends for a coffee and lunch. However lately I have noticed that the prices are a little high for the small portions that are served. My suggestion for the breakfast would be to give two slices of toast, instead of just one cut in half! Also it would be nice to get a second cup of coffee included with the purchase price of each meal. I would really appreciate those little extras! Thanks for your consideration. A long-time customer.

"Everything feels so homey here! Like my mom is cooking for me!" What time we arrived/Wait time? I've been here multiple times at almost every part of the day. I'm a regular. It tends to be busier during exam season as it makes sense when students are all trying to find cafes to study at. But it's okay other than that during the day. It's not near a lot of businesses so it might have a slight lunch rush but it's really kind of out of the way. Usually you will get a spot right away, it is first come first serve! Atmosphere? I love this place so much. It honestly just feels like the perfect warmness in it's tones of colours and it reminds me of a living room for some reason. Makes you feel warm and safe. Service/Staff? Everyone is so great! A lot of people I know have worked here and it just seems like a really cool and fun job. They seem very happy to serve and be there... makes the place a lot more welcoming! Food/Menu? Even though they don't have a whole lot on the menu... I just looooove everything here. They just use fresh simple ingredients and make it all right in front of you. To be honest, I could make any of this stuff myself... but it's just a great place to grab a healthier snack or meal. The pizzas are really good (I usually get the alfredo chicken pizza) and their chicken ceaser sandwhich is good too. They let you customize a lot as well. Great desserts and amazing pastries that they make fresh. Can't say how much I love the homey feeling of the food here. Omlettes here are made fresh and amazing as well!

I love how cozy and relaxing moments this coffee shop could give you to study for final exams :) I can also enjoy the view outside when I’m bored with my study lol. Tea is terrific with great aroma especially jasmine tea. Cheesecake is one of my favorite, really authentic New York cheese cake taste. Overall was super satisfied. The cashier was really cute and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Their matcha frappes are pretty good, highly recommend if your a matcha fan! Customer service is also top-notch, gives off a chill community cafe vibe. Inside decor could improve a bit tho, the chairs don't really match the atmosphere of a cafe imo.

Ordered two breakfast specials and two coffees and a bottle of Nestle Purelife water. I paid $26.00. The value of the food was not there. They took forever to serve and it was about 11:30 am, and not busy. The cashier/server forgot to give us the water we paid. No spoons for our coffee either.

Quite pricey, no free WiFi, if you use the WiFi it's really bad. Decent coffee. Couldn't order the breakfast special because they were busy using their ovens for something else.

Nice seating area, free WiFi and free parking in the back which is nice. Very close to bus stop if you are taking the ttc. Depending what time you go, it can either be busy or quiet. Good place to have conversation or work on projects with a partner or two. Not too many plugs so come with devices charged or work on paper/pen kind of stuff. Inside environment is like Second Cup aesthetics and cozy feeling. They have a patio outside which they open in the spring/summer so there's a bistro feel and I believe they serve weekend brunch options. Friendly staff, clean single bathroom facilitaties, wheelchair accessible, good food. Suggestions for improvements to the staff: -Matcha latte is way too sweet though, imo. Canephora should considered a non-sweet version. It's healthier. -Free wifi password should be on a public displayed sign, it's easier than customers needing to ask for the access code (changes every 3 hrs). -They should install more outlet ports or extension.

Went to Canephora today for a family day treat. There were NO FAMILY DAY specials. Too bad. Ordered a latte and returned it twice because it didn't have much coffee in it and instead had too much foam. Order a smoothie and my son got an icy drink instead. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and the crust was hard and burnt and the pizza cost $10.00!!! OVER-PRICED!!! Oh boy. $24 NOT well-spent today. Doing only coffee here in the future.

Funny story. I said "could I please have a muffin?" and the barista thought I said "Latte." The words aren't even that similar! He offered it to me for free :) Lovely atmosphere, classical music, four tables for groups of 4 people and a few tables for pairs. The only improvements I see are that the patio is awkward and small.

I bought a fabulous bundt coffee grinder. It is a hand grinder with ceramic "blades" and it is top quality! They sell all sorts of coffee enthusiast gifts too. Love this store!

If I can give this place no star I would have. Worst experience ever. The coffee wasn’t that good, the pastries and sweets were not fresh. The tuna sandwich we got was absolutely disgusting. I called the manager to ask for a refund because the workers were not experienced with the refund system or how to use the debit machine, I know shocking!!!! Long story short, the manager that I had a phone call with told me that their debit machine is broken and that he will do a refund to my bank account... never heard of that!!! Clearly, he doesn’t know how to give a good excuse for not wanting to give people their money back!!!! Terrible experience, customer services, and food. Honestly does not deserve the high rating!!!!

Very sweet place, cozy, very friendly staff. Had breakfast here 2-3 times, always a pleasant experience. It gives you a good feel that there is a moment for yourself not just running around like crazy with a paper cup of coffee in your hand, you know what i mean ;) Keep in mind they have parking behind the building with direct access to the cafe from there. Strongly recommend!

Humble and underrated but is a gem. Their menu isn't long but the food and coffee are terrific. Try the Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza. And the prices are insanely cheap.

I like this place personally because the atmosphere and interior are very quiet and cozy. Desserts are so sweet that it's not good in my personal opinion, but the coffee tastes good and the brunch menu is a favorite. The brunch menu is also good for the taste without being too greasy.

I was looking for a place to eat a late lunch on Mother's Day, but was finding it difficult as I had not made any reservations. I discovered this Cafe nearby and decided to go here. The place was not busy at all, with plenty of empty tables. You simply go to the counter and order what you want. If you are eating inside, they will bring your food right to your table. We ordered some lattes, as well as freshly prepared food such as pizza and wraps. The lattes were amazing, and the food was very good as well for the price. Will definitely be returning considering it is only 5 minutes away from me!

The chicken ceasar panini was the best panini I’ve ever had. It was amazing and seemed fresh. Also Iced tea and matcha latte were sweet (literally) and I liked them. An egg wrap was ok actually it tasted really healthy if you know what I mean. No salt, pepper or sauce. Furnitures are quite old and if you’d like to use wifi more than 3 hours, it is quite uncomfortable though. Staffs were nice and helpful as well.

The barista is lovely and the coffee is nice. Shame that the manager started demanding the customers move tables because we had the audacity to sit on a small table on our own. Really poor. The barista looked really embarrassed and rightfully so.

They're breakfast special was great. They're bacon has a really nice beef jerky texture, flavour with your traditional bacon taste. Wedges are ping! Service is great and a good atmosphere. Highly recommend. Free WiFi aswell. Will be coming back. Thanks to the staff. :)

Cute little coffee spot. I came here to meet a friend- I ordered a peppermint tea. Loved their team selection and looks like they had a cheap price for breakfast. It's smaller than expected. A very small cozy place to have a coffee and catch up or chat.

Beautiful little hidden gem in North York. All day breakfast option available. They also offer pizza, sandwiches, baked goods and serve a variety of tea and coffee. Staff are really friendly and take care of you. Seating is a little limited on weekends. The booths are great if you happen to get one. Recommended

We normally had good experiences here but today was not one of those days. We got a raspberry cheesecake tart but found mould building under the raspberries. We exchanged it for a creme brulee but the top was soggy and not hard. Not a good day.

The interior and atmosphere of the cafe is very cozy and comfortable. So, if you want to do quiet office work or tasks that require a long period of concentration, it's not bad to visit here. The coffee taste is good, and the brunch menu is not stimulating, but it is light and easy to eat.
