I can't say enough good things about the coffee, food, or the service. The pastries are exquisite, and good value, but not inexpensive. The staff are wickedly conscientious.

maira zambrano

Forgot to take the picture of the pastry, because of it’s so good and I finished it in a second????. It’s also a nice area to walk around with a cup of good coffee.

I'm very happy I came in here when it wasn't busy. The espresso is very bitter/burnt. Cappuccino had no foam and the environment is not relaxing. But hey, thats just me.

Lily McGraw

Amazing atmosphere inside and great coffees!

Manal Alrfooh

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the baked goods but I had an espresso and it was practically like drinking battery acid. Not a personal favourite at least. No issues with service. Friendly with a smile.

Gary Wang

Great place to grab a coffee and fancy pastry and just walk the shipyards area! Lovely all year round.

This place is always packed which is a good sign. I have to say I wish they they baked more of their popular items as they run out pretty fast. I have tried a few of their baked goods , I would say my favorite is their pistachio swirl. And I was only able to get it twice as they always run out of it. Their cream puffs are very good and generous filling. Th dough is just so fresh and the ingredients are very tasty. The cream filled croissants are a bit too rich for my taste. And the big cookie is just decent. When it comes to their coffee it really depends on your preference and taste. I did not care much for it. Another attractive feature is their location. You can just get some baked goods and go sit by and enjoy the ocean view. If you decide to sit inside it’s has a pleasant ambience and the people that work there have a cool vibe. Overall I recommend trying it they have different baked goods and also breakfast items and brunch. Now I go there at least once a week on a Sunday to get their raisins swirls or the pistachios swirl. They are just so so good I wish they made more of them as they run out fast. I love this place and I have recommended it to my friends and now they are addicted to it :)

Talid Jalbout

Super tasty, well poured coffee and a great selection of sweet and savory light dishes. Wonderful airy space, very modern, good music and kind staff!

Ryan Aitcheson

Great place to start yous day. The bake goods are amazing, great atmosphere. Great addition to the LOLO area!

One word: QUALITY. Strong coffee, delicious brunch menu and mouthwatering pastries. They even sell fresh loaves of their sourdough, so you can relive their avocado toast at home ???? staff are kind and I love the glass windows that allow you to watch the bakers work their magic. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Finally paid a visit to my favorite café at this location. Always looking forward to their dishes at Gastown. This location seems to have signature pastry so I give it a try and have “The Queen” : caramelized palmer with hints of sea salt. Let me bow! There are so many layers and totally crispy with good balance of sweetness. Then you will feel the savoury as the last sense when chewing the pastry. No wonder they are selling them in a box of 6, around $6@. That’s expensive but I cannot deny their products exceeding the delicacy at the nearby Thomas Haan.

I can't remember the last time I came to Lonsdale, but I'm glad I did on a nice sunny day. What a surprise it was for me! The area has changed a lot, a huge outdoor space with log benches in front of the new and beautiful gallery. After taking some nice photos, we went to Nemesis Cafe - a bright coffee shop with modern decor. Unfortunately, we could not sit inside the store due to COVID. They sell many different types of fancy croissants. I tried the butter black forest, filled with chunks of light whipped chocolate cream with cherries. It is flaky on the outside. You need to be careful, though, of the cream that can be squeezed out when you are eating it, resulting in a mess. Make sure you have plenty of tissues handy. The Americano was also very fresh and had fruity aromas. The price was on the high end, but definitely worth the visit.

Bernice Chu

Food was good but terrible coffee great decor

Matthew Reid

I have been here 4 times in last 2 months...although a bit high on money, the taste is unbeatable. I have tasted almost 5 different sweet items, cranberry cheesecake croissants tops the lost.

Steve Kim

Delicious coffee and really well trained baristas. Every espresso drink so far from here has been pulled well and they use a great variety of beans from roasters all over the world. Their recent batch of home roasted espresso was also top notch. Don't miss out and definitely order the kouign amann...which is my favorite pastry there. Their cookies are quite good as well. The croissants all look spectacular but are a little on the heavy side since they are filled with cream.

Richard Garrett

Music is loud and terrible. Interior is nice, but what's the point if you can't stand being in it.

Extremely nice coffee house, excellent coffee and very fresh pastries. Great service, highly recommended

First walked by this place few months ago and there was a huge lineup outside. This time we came earlier in the morning and ordered quickly, got our selection of freshly baked pastries and then waited outside for several minutes for our drinks to be prepared. First we tried chocolate croissant and it was one of the best I ever had. Hot chocolate was served warm so you can start sipping right away and it was not to sweet, and it reminded me a bit of Angelina's with it's rich dark chocolate aroma. We also enjoyed chocolate banana cruffin and tiramisu croissant as dessert after lunch, and both were amazing, with crispy flaky pastry just melting in the mouth, and not too sweet.

J C

Hit-and-miss with the pastries. Excellent quality and super flaky, but the flavors and presentation were a mixed bag. Tiramisu croissant (top right): fantastic cream filling with a nice hit of coffee. Would definitely buy again. Strawberry croissant (top left): the filling tasted like strawberry yogurt to me. I didn't hate it but wouldn't re-purchase. The hot-pink icing paired with the pink meringues on top were a bit off-putting. Raspberry elderflower cruffin (bottom left): not enough raspberry flavor as I would have liked, and the elderflower was nice, if a bit too subtle. Cream puff (not pictured): today was a lemon pie flavor, and I really liked this one. Bright lemon flavor from the lemon filling paired nicely with the white chocolate ganache, which wasn't too heavy.

Devika Malik

Some of the best croissants/baked goods in Vancouver although the price is higher as compared to most other places. However, I cannot get over the fact that you need to buy five items or more to get a box. Nothing worse than getting a squished croissant and cream puff because it was stuffed into a bag. If the premium on the fancy boxes are so high why not just order regular paper boxes, they all get thrown away/recycled anyways.

Tri Chiem

Not impressed with the quality and taste. Simple black coffee did not taste like a good brew and cappuccino wasn't it at all.... the cookie was just about edible! 0 for coffee. 1 stars for the cookie. Not visiting again.

Jessica McGuire

Great job on the pastries, coffee, service and atmosphere. Very well rounded coffee shop. Had their latte and creme brulee pastry, would definitely come again.

Ricardo Gomez

This place has great baked goods and great location. But it was super loud and just finding a seat was impossible. The seating faces the baking area which is cool. Tried the cascara soda which was a bit to sweet. Really enjoy their oatmilk cappuccino. Will probably just get my drinks to go next time!

Rob Whitzman

Excellent coffee. Terrible music.

One of the best If not number 1 coffeehouse in North Vancouver

matteo w

Great service and great food! The coffee was not bad but their pastry was AMAZING. They've done an excellent job in decorating the place by making it welcoming and just so aesthetically pleasing. Honestly, loved the experience and will come again for sure!

Mockie

Four stars because coffee tasted bitter and sour, but tiramisu pastry was bomb. Lots of seating in the back

Michel B

Unreal! The pastries here are phenomenal, from flavours to technique. It is worth every penny! I love that it is all done in-house. Coffee was fantastic as well! If they ever decide to offer a pastry class, I'm in.

Michelle Chan

It’s amazing to see the power of Instagram at work. Whenever you visit this location, there is a line up the length of the building and if you arrive in the afternoon, most of the baked goods are gone. So, the question is whether or not it’s that good and worth the wait. In my opinion, there are many other cafes in Vancouver that serve better coffees and better baked goods, they just don’t look as pretty and aren’t sold in buildings that are as beautiful as the ones Nemesis runs. This isn’t to say that the food and coffee is bad. It’s actually quite good, but it’s not worth the cost or the wait, unless posting your pictures takes precedence over flavour. Whatever formula they are following is working, and it must drive some of the other businesses around the quay nuts. That said, the next time I’m in the area, I’ll probably skip the line and head inside the market instead.

Walker

Everything made from scratch! Friendly staff, good vibes, tasty treats. What more could you want. 10/10????????

James Hsueh

It was a place that did not meet my expectations. The croissants were hard and there were no menus that I found attractive on Instagram. I honestly felt like the bread was not freshly baked.. It wasn't so worthy to wait in line. I also went to a branch in Vancouver City, but it seems to be better than here. I was hoping it would be as delicious as it was expensive, but I was disappointed.

Everett Krohn

love the pastry! I would say the best of the town!

Neil Gatpandan

Great croissants, nice vibes, and atmosphere. Buy their coffee beans as well - delicious and packaged in a nice box. A must-visit when you're in North Van.

Emin Nadjafov

I ordered coffee about a month ago and the staff asked me to stay out to bring my take out coffee to me, while I was waiting outside I was watching the staff that came to the door and started folding a rug that was in the front door!! then without washing his hands he held my coffee cup and brought it to me that makes me feel I’m taking my coffee from the dirtiest place ever, very poor hygiene!!

Athena Robichaud

Not pleased with their drinks or service. The flat white was in very small cup and tasted more like straight oat milk and they put too much cream in the americano that we had to dump it out. It's also not welcoming when they ask for a tip with the minimal service provided.

Didn't get a chance to try the food from the kitchen, so this is based on the two pastries. Firstly, the puff pastry is done and baked to perfection, my only complaint us the filling. There is just too much of it and I found both to be too sweet.

I got the smoke meat melt. The sandwich was burned and left in one big slab instead of cut in half to be able to eat like a human. Montreal smoked meat is supposed to be cut thin. This meat was in a big chunk, hard to chew and barely covering the bread. For >16$ this feels like a rip off. No sides or anything.

Comfy and classy as expected in an art gallery. Only charging stations are at the bar area while Drinks were solid. Would go back to try more!

Unfortunately I can't give 0! They are so slow to make the coffees even when isn't busy.

exquisite coffee. gorgeous baked goods, although many are VERY rich and VERY sweet. not my taste exactly but quite something to behold nonetheless

Had two cappuccinos made with their India washed roast. They were OK, but nothing special. I find it very odd that they do a 6 Oz cappuccino for their stay service but an 8 Oz for take out, so I asked for a 6 Oz pour. I repeated twice " no lid" but they came with lids. Poor listeners obviously.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Cracking coffee and unrivalled service. Wasn't a huge fan of their avo toast but the staff and pastries more than made up for that one.

Zoe Capps

It was my first time to this location. Food and coffee were top notch as always. One of the staff members was a little bit rude when I asked about how indoor seating works (I get the impression it's not like GNW or Gastown. Tables are a free for all here, and not first come first serve. Staff won't help you find one when you order), but the other staff we interacted with were nice.

Amy J

The hype associated with this place is exactly just that-hype! This establishment cannot even maintain the standard of serving water in a clean cup served to the customer (See photo). It is doubtful any cleanliness standards are up kept. Service is poor and and drinks are poorly poured (less drink volume than what a regular cup holds-see photo). Will not be returning to this coffee shop.

I love Nemesis Coffee. Their coffee is great and I often buy beans from their other GNW location as well. I take a look at other reviews but didn't find anything specific. It was my first time in this particular location and I hate to say I had one of the worst customer experience. I understand during covid it is important to have the shop as vacant as possible. However I would appreciate if the cashier mentioned that to me as soon as I place my order, instead of being scolded out by the barista with "Please wait for your drink outside". Side note: they also prioritize indoor beverage orders as well, which is why I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. The lady who brought my order out (which I appreciate) didn't even say thanks for waiting; instead, left it on the table outside and walked away. Not the best experience I was looking forward to enjoy my coffee

Chris Chan

You can never go wrong with coffee from Nemesis. Good & consistent drinks. Service is a hit or miss however. Sometimes they are super friendly and sometimes you order and they don’t say a single word (not even an “okay”) or smile and pass you the machine.

Gorgeous cafe - great coffee, watched the snow fall through the floor to ceiling windows from the cosy inside. Worked on my laptop and because it wasn't busy, I wasn't asked to leave. Will definitely return.

Wasn’t planning on coming here but the decor caught my attention as we walked by. Once we walked and sipped my latte, it became my instant favorite!! I wish I can give it 6 stars. Everything was perfect. The staff by far the most friendly I’ve met and they really make an effort to talk to all the customers. The coffee is so AMAZING that so many people asked about the coffee beans (including myself). Apparently they rotate so it’s better to ask them what they’re using for your drink the day of. Oh! Their pastries are also freshly made!! Lastly, their decor and packaging is so cute and refreshing. The only thing I can pick on is that it’s a small space and not a lot of seating so you will have to be very lucky to get a table.

Jagdeep Rana

Finally made it here & omgoodness I'm in Flakey Buttery Heaven! Was hoping to try their new Blueberry London Fog, and as they say the early bird gets the worm & I ain't no early bird ????????‍♀️ so needless to say they were sold out by the time I got myself over there. No worries though because I got the chance to try their Cherry Almond PB & J Cruffin, which was to die for. It had a great subtle taste of PB with a tart Cherry Jam & the texture of the Cruffin was absolutely sublime. My partner had the Strawberry Buttermilk Croissant & omgoodness, it's everything you want in a croissant and then some! If you're a croissant lover & haven't tried this place yet, be sure to check it out, they take croissants to a whole other level & you will not be disappointed!

Maria Kearse

My Americano was really good and the egg and avo sandwich was really good too. The chocolate almond croissant was another good thing I ate. The salted caramel chocolate cookie was huge and tasted great, but it's a crispy cookie with no soft middle, which i usually like. Still the sando and coffee are the highlights and bring it to 5 stars

Literally my favorite coffee chain in Vancouver. Their beans are phenomenal, and Dope Bakery really knows what they’re doing. Just tried some of their beans from India. It’s a party in my mouth, and I’m not sure where the party started! So. Good.

Batya Fellman

Refreshing, bright spot in Lower Lonsdale to enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious baked items. Music is booming (perhaps a bit loud as the cabinets were vibrating from the bass), coffee brewed before your eyes in an open concept room with an attached bakery in full view. Both the coffee and the chocolate cashew cookie I had this afternoon were awesome! This is opening day, and I'm impressed... will be back!

Panda Bear

The rhubarb croissant was fantastic, and I’d eat it again right away if the first didn’t fill me up! Great coffee, friendly service, and my spouse was delighted with the bacon egg sando too

Grace C

What a beautiful coffee spot! The service is wonderful and the staffs were so nice and friendly. It absolutely brings such a charm to this place! :) The pastries are very good and aesthetically very pretty, and I loved the ambiance! I would highly recommend going there!:)

If you haven't been to Nemesis, you haven't experienced the best of Vancouver. Their Gastown location was such a hit, they had to expand! I love the Dope Bakehouse focus in the Polygon location, because their pastry program has levelled up to a whole other universe. They've got season-appropriate pastry creations (think fruit in the summer and nuts and spices in the winter) that I think are the most exciting and delicious in the Lower Mainland, especially their croissants. Flaky, crispy, buttery, and often filled with gooey goodness. Nemesis sets the bar high for the cafe scene.

Derrick C

The egg breakfast was good, but it has sweet garlic sauce inside that was not my taste!!!

Ian Lin

Nemesis Coffee Polygon & dope bake house - the baked goods are so crispy. They are a must try when you visit them. Especially good when you get to see the process of them making the bakery goods right in front of you. The location is perfect during summer times when we get to walk around the sea bank plus a good cup of coffee.

Chris Weber Mirlach

Great atmosphere, espresso and baked goods. I highly recommend going to nemesis

Probably one of my favorite coffee shops in the Vancouver area, next to Prototype Coffee and 49th Parallel. Many great options here, for different brews and styles of coffee! Have the most delicious pastries too, [f they're available], which I also highly recommend! Only downside, is that usually they are sold out. Great location, as well, as you can go for a lovely stroll thru the Harbour Quay.

super yummy brunch! salmon benny was wee bit salty but the coffee (Spanish coffee) perfectly washed it down. yogurt w the peach or nectarine stuff was delicious ???? lovely staff! they all seem like friends which is so sweet. very helpful and patient.

Caleb Buxton

I have been a frequent customer of Nemesis even when the Gastown cafe was just a baby. Ever since, no restraunt or cafe has ever been able to match the community that is created by this catalyst of human connection and culture. Today, a disgruntled customer was bashing the manager for not neglecting Covid Policies at their request. Because he followed guidelines, they asked him to switch careers; while he was on his break. He only apologized, after they left, he went outside to cool off. This is the most pristine example of "the customer is always right" even when they are transparently not. I have never seen such an awful customer, with such a humbling and mature response. Nemesis cannot be beat.

Cream filled chocolate banana cup cake is amazingly served my mouth! With their awesome coffee upgrades the entire experience! This combination is flavourful, smooth and delicious.

Was told to leave our table and wait outside while waiting for drinks and treats. Apparently seating inside isn’t for paying customers here. High end status and low customer service

Very disappointed that they only do a 12oz coffee and nothing larger. Was told it was 'quality over quantity' well some of us need both!

Rocealin Racert

OBSESSED with this place! The coffee is great and the pastries are to die for. It's my new go-to in Lonsdale.

Kirk Chantraine

Pastries? Great, phenomenal even—in taste that is. Price is tad high for what it is relative to other cafes though understandable to compensate for the location and it being made in-house. Coffee? Don't bother. Service? Lol

Madison Bartsch

Great coffee, delicious pastries, and lovely staff. I’d love it even more if it opened earlier!

Keegan Kent

Really poor service and overall bad experience today, which is shocking considering all the good reviews. The chai latte was 5/5.

Henry Kong

Coffee and pastries were delicious, I really enjoyed the Luna coffee and cashew chocolate cookie. Beautiful and bright decor. Would definitely recommend!

More options for awesome coffee in the north shore. Great location and a perfect spot for coffee nerds.

Magda Figueredo Diaz

Originally I gave this place 5 star. However, due to their unprofessional approach in collecting tips, I decided to reduce this to 2 stars. Tips should be paid privately. However, their person behind the cash register makes you say out loud how much tip you’d like to pay in front of everyone in the line. Their preset options for tips start from 18% and goes to 25% whereas you don’t even sit inside - while restaurants with dine in starts with 15%. If you want to pay a custom tip, you need to say it out loud which makes you uncomfortable in front of others. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional! There, despite I liked their sweets, I stopped going there. I don’t recommend this place.

The price is worth the quality. Considering the location, where it’s beside seaspan, the food is not expensive. Decent brunch and decoration. The only problem is with the seating. Hard to find a table - only along the bar.

First and foremost, Nemesis has some fantastic pastries! They’re fresh and flaky. I am a sucker for a croissant ???? and Nemesis delivers some dope ones. However ... I love a filled croissant but honestly, the filling is TOO much. So much that I can’t enjoy the beauty of the croissant itself. This was the Mother’s Day cassis croissant. Amazing flavours but, all that filling just takes over. Coffee and lattes here are good too however, they’re never quite hot - always just warm. I totally recommend Nemesis ❤️ It’s an experience.

Great vibe, unique croissants, small good food menu the only 3 concerns i had visiting this location of nemesis was that its super hard to find a seat and they are limited, they close too early in the afternoon and their coffee taste is not very good either as a Latte, Mocha or Americano. Simon Wu

this place is super close to our office and we have been going here in groups every week at least once of twice. Was excited when they opened again after it was closed due to COVID. I was put off when I purchased 3 pastries to take home to my partner after work and they were refusing to give me a box? The small take away boxes they have do not close when purchasing a croissant which does not work when A) all you can do is take away and B) we are doing our best to prevent COVID-19 so a box that closes would be great so I am not risking touching my food or something touching my food before I wash my hands or make it back to my destination. Only after taking the 3 croissants off my order did the cashier offer to give me a bigger box that are only offered if you purchase 5 or more pastries. I don't want to made to feel like I am being cheap but 3 pastries and an 8 ounce coffee for 25 dollars all I really wanted was a box that closed. I would have tipped more than the cost of the box.... Feeling discouraged to return at this point. I hope you increase the size of your individual boxes to fit your beautiful pastries.

Mike Rotch

Our go to place for coffee. Oh yeah and amazing tasty treats. Love the friendly outgoing servers. ????????

Nemesis did it again. I tried the Creamsicle Cruffin; it was light, buttery and sweet. Their Americano was also really good. For only the second day after opening their brunch service seemed well-put together.

Ariana Roach

I liked their avocado toast!

Tony Lee

Excellent in every way. Drinks, baked goods, food items, and the environment are all exceptional. The only down-side is that you might have to fight over a place to sit. The atmosphere at a coffee shop is important and they’ve created a beautiful space that’s brightly lit and very inviting. They’ve made their baking a focus by creating an open-kitchen that is visible from the seating space. So it is no surprise that the baked goods in their display case are exceptionally tasty and fresh. They have a made-to-order food menu in addition to their display case of baked goods and their food is magnificent. I was blown away! Plenty of coffee shops dabble in made-to-order, warm food items, but they don’t have full kitchens and tend to be pretty mediocre at best. Nemesis is a different story, their food is better than at most restaurants Be warned that you may have trouble finding a seat during popular hours. Think twice before you bring your laptop here - it isn’t really the place for the coffee shop camper.

The coffee is amazing! The croissants are tip top! Such flake. Much butter. The avo toast was ... soupy? It just left something to be desired but I know that other people recommend it and that it’s usually good. Maybe we just had a bad avo day, but the bread was super dry and cut up our cheeks while the avo was watery and spilling everywhere :( didn’t have much taste other than the bites with the little cheesy dollops. Nevertheless, would certainly go back!

An absolute dream, Nemesis has done a wonderful job with their Polygon location. The space is beautifully curated down to the tiniest details. Top notch food and baked goods. Always a world class selection of coffees on rotation, served on the bar or sold retail. Great music selection too! Nemesis is truly bringing the specialty coffee and foodie culture to the masses.

This coffee shop is a pleasant place to visit, in my opinion. Much smaller than the Downtown location. This place is adorable and has wonderful service. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended the Nemesis Coffee Polygon at Lonsdale Quay Market.

I personally don't drink coffee so can't say anything, but my husband said their coffee tasted very good. I enjoyed their shop though. Nice and clean, and it's in a pretty building.

Karen Woodfield

Expensive coffee; it really works as a laxative. I almost didn’t make the ride home.

Such good coffee, incredible pastries. So glad you guys came over to this side of the water ❤️

Terrible hot chocolate and coffee. The cashier that served me was amazing but I feel like this place is overhyped. I didn't like the drinks at all - food wasn't so bad. I also ended up getting a croissant but they didn't provide any cutlery. I understand they may not be providing them because of Covid but at least they can provide reusable ones.

Meera Somji

Not sure what their coffee tastes like but if it is half as good and the Pistachio Swirl I had it is worth the crazy delightful line up! Due to COVID measures (they are doing a good job) there is quite a long line up! I have been spotting it for a few weeks now and today I jumped in line with my sister. As I already had my coffee from home with I sampled one of their pastry delights from their Dope Bakery! Holy Cow! Buttery Goodness!! Everything looked delicious and based on what I had I can imagine it is. Jump in the line up and check it out for yourself! You will be glad you did!

Morgan Harrop

Incredible coffee and desserts, friendly staff, and I love the hip hop decor.

Fun, artsy and modern space with really solid coffee (go and try the pourover!) and insanely good pastries. I'm not even a pastry kind of person

Ordered breakfast here and had the avocado & egg sando paired with an Americano with an extra shot. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time, and the sandwich was unreal, it really hit the spot.

Awesome space. By far the best coffee shop on the north shore! Glad they’re not doing the table service thing that gastown does

jay han

Finally!!! Best coffee on Lower londsdale!

Chris Bowman

These croissants were so freakin unbelievable. Never seen such pretty baked good before. The coffee was also fantastic and it's attached to a really nice quiet art gallery to go and just chill and look out to the water.

Jess West

Pastry is good for your IG photos, some flavour is tasty and some could be too sweet. Their coffee is mild and smooth, just that they don't have almond milk to substitute which was sad...

Laura Wilson

Really loved the croissants here. However the line up was too long and the bathroom was slightly dirty. I'd come back again but I was hoping to try there avocado toast but there wasn't anywhere to sit. Worth a second trip!

Zoe Liu

Good design features, it was cold inside, far to many windows around the tables. I like the open concept and the kitchen in total view. Good croissants and fair coffee, nothing extraordinary about this place. I was very disapointed to learn that breakfast is only served until 9AM.

Lattes leave a lot to be desired, and the cookies could be better, but the other pastries made up for it. The other nemesis location always does their lattes solid, so not sure what fell through here. Creamsicle is awesome, definitely recommend that. Glad the area is getting another robust coffee shop! All the best.

Most excellent coffee house...love the experience...the servers are top notch, friendly and outgoing. The food is great and the pastries are divine.

Amazing strawberry croissant. Delicious pistachio swirl. Great latte. Friendly service. I’ll be back for sure to try the food and more baked goods as they all look mouth-watering!

Anita Ngai

The welcoming and friendly staff paired with the tantalizing selection of fresh pastries elevate your experience to something exceptional that will have you thinking about this small café in the back of your mind for weeks. The atmosphere is calming, and as long as you order coffee as your beverage you will be satisfied. The chai leaves something to be desired and is more akin to horchata than tea. All in all, wonderful and highly recommended.

I come here pretty often and it has never been disappointing. Great coffees, small brunch menu but enough to choose from and everything we had so far has been delicious. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly as well. Definitely one of my favourites in Lower Lonsdale!

prasidha thapa

Good pour-over and fantastic bakery ☺️ Although it’s hard to take a seat due to tons of people, It’s worth to wait for it.

Mary Thompson

Very meh, if you like coffee don't go here. If you just need a place to chill and coffee is an afterthought... sure go here, why not.

meowmeow-meowmeow, excellent

milad stanley

Very highly rated coffee shop with top bakery offerings. This place is always at the top of the best Vancouver coffee shop lists and deservedly so, great coffee, banger pastries with comfortable and cool vibes. The staff are really nice too and have a lot of character. Highly recommended

Hannah Lai

Positives: good coffee (excellent oat milk flat white in particular), friendly staff and nice interior. Negatives: overpriced and baked goods are a bit gimmicky. Standard croissant was sadly lacklustre. On balance a good café

Elly E

Baked goods and coffee are great but the service was awful. I placed my order and the guy at the counter asked if I wanted to leave a tip (not something you ask but I left 15%) I went to the other window to pick up my order and was only given one espresso (by another worker). When I told him I ordered 2 not 1, he said “it says on the receipt you ordered 1, you can get back in line since it’s not that busy.” Considering it was your mistake not mine, you should be fixing it not telling me to put another order through on my card (take it out of the tip fund you asked me for). I was also given no napkins or anything. Pretty atrocious considering what you pay. I’ll stick to Starbucks.

TOM CHEN

Bakery 9/10 Iced mocha 4/10 sry it was very plain.

David MCADAM

You can't go wrong here. Everything is on point. The line is there because they are incredible. Join in, have fun, and get those DOPE Bakedgoods!

Nicole Hoffart

Incredibly unique pastries, definitely worth a visit for that! The coffee isn't my favourite, leaves an odd aftertaste.

Ingrid Zeng

Coffee, ok ... space, ok ... muffin, very nice, service, ok ...
