Lol...a coffee shop that doesn't have coffee. As usual..."Can I make you an americano instead?".... Sure.....ok... "Ok that will be 4.00." lol...twice the price for something you didn't want in the first place...pass.

Very disrespectful and rude experience. Was asked to buy something or leave because the sitting area is for customers(i was the only one there at the time), then when I did buy something, they complained to library staff because I was sitting there too long. If you're busy and I see someone looking for a table I will voluntarily get up myself. But when there is 3 or 4 empty tables... this is how you lose customers

THANK YOU for a TOP NOTCH service and amazing coffee plus my delicious strawberry smoothie! I was denied a cup of coffee at the Bean Around The World earlier as they don’t accept bills. It was innocent. Thank you Bean around the world for that otherwise I wouldn’t have known how wonderful this family run coffee place is!

Great place to work, chat and enjoy the terrace outside. Ask for the grilled cheese sandwich is great. They have soups and great food. Enjoy the NV City Hall plaza as well.

Family owned and operated- great service, great prices, great iced americanos, great food. Not as hip and designed as other spots but good family vibe, Good music, great location - pedestrian only. Can't do better in North Vancouver.

Little hidden Gem, South facing, nice trees around. Nice tables inside and outside. Kool owner. Good prices and nice quality menu selection.

I love the cafe and the drinks and sandwiches, its just that the girl with the curly black hair, glasses, and looks like a student seems to always be very unfriendly and rude. For starters, when you ask for sugar she sort of glares at you, won’t let you wait around for your drink, and is in general a rude person. I find this especially unfitting in a cafe setting and would rather be greeted with a happy, kind, and friendly person who will not ruin my morning. On top of that, she makes the coffees not as good or when I ordered a drink that contains just ice and coffee, she said it was "out of stock", just because she did not want to blend the ice in a blender in the morning. I've noticed she glares and does the same thing with other customers, so it isn't just her having one bad day. Anyways I love the cafe but I always try to avoid coming during the hours she works. The cafe is a much nicer environment and experience when the other employees are working. They are all very nice and friendly compared to her.
