The coffee is amazing, and the place has a great atmosphere. Very welcoming. The staff are so great and I wish I could spend my time there always. Very good prices as it is local, and they have tasty treats. I recommend their Spanish Latte for something really fun.

Stumbled across Republica as I am not often on this part of Pender. I had a fabulous Caramel Macchiato. A beautiful bright space with comfortable chairs at communal tables. I didn’t buy any coffee beans, but appreciated the names of their roasts. Fort Langley. The Perfect Storm. Dark Angel. To name a few. Lots of teas too.

Nice place. The distribution is a bit weird but I liked it (two tables with four seats each, and two more seats at the bar, so most likely you will be sharing a table), the place is rather small. The barista is very good, efficient, good presentation, drinks as they are supposed to be. Since the place is small, it is quiet, so it is a nice place to be in peace while having a hot drink. Aztech mocha is very nice, chocolate, a shot of espresso and chili powder. I would have given them five stars, but the chocolate is from syrup, which could be easily improved.

It is very disappointing to find out that well recommended cafe is closed on Saturdays. Even though the door sign indicates that it suppose to be open.

We tried some of the best coffee places in Vancouver , and Republica Coffee is by far, THE BEST place for a espresso. Simple, elegant, cozy, old school atmosphere and delicious coffee. If you like espressos , that's the place for you. Great staff always

I moved here from Italy more than one year ago, and I have to say that this is the only coffee shop in Vancouver where I found the most similar espresso to the original Italian one. The coffee tastes good and the espresso is thick and creamy ( like it’s supposed to be). I strongly recommend trying out this place if you enjoy a rich coffee taste.

Quaint little coffee shop with a rustic appeal and beautiful chalk drawings scattered by the walls. The iced Spanish latte my friend and I got was delicious. Welcoming staff as well.

This place is a hidden gem. The coffee is delicious, but their specialty coffees are downright inspired. Service is friendly, neighborly, and excellent. Environment is peaceful with a view out over industrial North Van to Vancouver's skyline. It's got that working North Van charm. Personally I love getting off the bustle of Lonsdale into the side streets with brewery taprooms and places like this alongside semi-industrial businesses.

One of my favourite local roasters. I was super happy when I heard they finally opened a store within city limits (their main store is in Fort Langley, really out of the way!). You can buy their beans (generally a day or two old) for very reasonable prices, or kick back and enjoy a coffee while having some quiet time. Store is pretty small, but during all the times I've been, it's not particularly busy, since that part of downtown does not see too much foot traffic.

Although this coffee shop is a bit small, it’s not crowded at all surprisingly, I had the whole space to myself. I really enjoyed their mocha with soy milk. I also had carrot cake (?) which was just okay, I hope they’ll have more food/pastries options in future. Will definitely come back!
