Like their almond milk lattes and being able to take the coffee mug to the park across the street. Hoping they carry more vegan/gf/refined sugar free food options soon. Would also love if they had unsweetened almond milk as an option. Update - still no unsweetened almond milk. Sticking to jj bean.

Trevor Defehr

Love the Chai lattes; great place to sit for a few hours to catch up. Easy to find parking around it. Great neighbourhood cafe

I came here when visiting my brother and sister in law. It's the kind of place where they know their drink order by heart ❤ super cute, comforting space. Now I'm going to go home wishing I could take it with me!

Katie Riedstra

They use Moja beans. Good coffee, ordered an iced latte and cortado. Cute neighbourhood and outdoor seating. Friendly staff :)

JJ

Cosy place for a Sunday coffee. Good spot for taking the family and have a good morning. The coffee is not the best even having such a beautiful machine, but at least is a decent one. The people who work there are really nice, the helped me with some advice.

Riley Danger

Friendly staff. Great patio space to enjoy breakfast with your dogs.

Mockie

Good coffee and food, nice seating area and very friendly staff. Definitely a little nook off of Lonsdale for the quiet neighborhood coffee

J

Charming coffee shop nestled into a beautifully maintained historic building. Friendly service. Nice selection of treats. Very popular spot always busy with locals

Chang Benjamin

They've done a good job with plexiglass dividers, and coffee and service was very good. I enjoyed a nice conversation with a friend over coffee. I'll be coming back, for sure!

Mike Kant

Amazing coffee and people. Great atmosphere. Love this place

Ali Mehrizi

Cozy neighborhood coffee shop (serving Moja) with a nice selection of pastries and reasonable prices. Small but pretty patio although when I visited it was pouring and couldn’t enjoy the patio. Will be back if I’m in the neighborhood!

Sydney Dawson

Nice coffee shop, nice decor. Staff is friendly and quick. The place was busy for a Monday afternoon.

A. Pourmomtaz

Cozy and friendly environment with lots of options for food and coffee. Freshly baked items to pair with your coffee. ????

Jacob Campbell

I love that they offer gluten free items. Especially those from Delish Gluten Free. Great coffee from Moja too. Sweet location, friendly helpful employees.

KL Everfree

Great atmosphere but not great coffee tastes burnt

Emmett Armstrong

Great location for a coffee shop!! Lots.of outdoor seating and a small park across the street. Great coffee too!

Steph D

Adorable shop in quaint neighborhood. Quality of coffee not so great. We ordered medium Carmel macchiatos with add shot of espresso and it tasted like warm Carmel milk and no coffee.

What a great local gem in North Vancouver. Andrew's on 8th has great coffee, freshly made food, friendly staff and cool welcoming owners. This is a winning combination. All the sandwiches are freshly made in their kitchen. For the coffee connaisseur, they serve Fairtrade, locally roasted Moja Coffee-awesome. Great open patio space on the street out front right by a green space. Try the Carrot cake, its one of the best I've ever had. Also serve freshly made cookies, lemonades. Try it once you'll be hooked.

Cozy little corner cafe with a pretty expansive outdoor seating area that almost becomes a community gathering place in the summer. Laid back staff adds to the relaxing atmosphere. During open hours on any given day, you can be sure to find …

Good place for eats and and drinks... With a good spot to sit outside. Coffee in the park across the street is also appreciated!

Stephanie Stthomas

This is a great little neighborhood coffee house! I would say quaint, artisan, friendly, artsy... Great place to chill. Their food is delightful; the cinnamon bun I had was perfectly sweet and gooey, not burnt or dry. I'd love to come back here for lunch sometime. The sandwiches look amazing.

Tom Scherbluk

I have no idea why this place has such a high rating... The latte is bitter, way too strong, and actually sour... Completely undrinkable.

Colin McBride

One of the best on the shore! A building from 1912 with a wonderful cafe. Delicious take away dinners you can order and they have popular featured sandwiches. Love how they support local businesses and artists too.

Bela Oxmyx

First visit to this coffee shop and was I impressed. I ordered a panini and a cappuccino. The panini was absolutely delicious and fresh. It was as if they’d just made it. The cappuccino was strong but not burnt or bitter. There was a lot of customers coming and picking up orders. This corner cafe is popular. At 3 o’clock it was crammed with customers and school kids. The menu is good and the there’s a sandwich there for every kind of diet from meat to vegan. The muffins look scrumptious. I’m going there again.

This is a very unique local fare! 'Hellooo, gooood morning, mates'. Many to chat with and to enjoy their awesome tasting coffees and delicacies! Nice place to hang out on the Northshore and chill with yourself to do morning or afternoon work preparation or to chat with friends and locals. I was going to buy this character building and do the very same thing; but honestly they have knocked it out of the park! And even across from greenspace and mountain views! Wonderful!

Edna L

It's a great local coffee shop with top-notch coffee and pastries. There's small park opposite so while there's little seating inside the outside patio and park more than make up for it. They also do dinners, which I haven't tried. It's one of my favourites in Vancouver.

Shane Defehr

While we were visiting from Ontario we found Andrews on 8th and loved it!! Fantastic coffee and great people made for a wonderful evening each day we came for our morning coffee.

Siobhan Melican

Great local spot for food and great coffee. Walked by God place several times and it wasalways packed. Went to check it out one day and what a fun great experience this was. The ginger lemon tea they had was probably the best ginger lemon tea i had. The patio outside is great for summer time. Id definitely go again

Gerardo Otero

Great coffee shop for quality espresso, baked goods and sandwiches. The atmosphere is also very nice inside and is right across from a quiet park. Awesome place for lunch or just a quick bite.

Gillian Healed

We love this local cafe because it’s a small business. However, the single-use plastic and paper presenting the food and drink is unsustainable and environmentally unfriendly. Understanding Covid fears, we respectfully request returning to reusable crockery and cutlery. Commercial dish washers kill 99.9% of germs.

Randall “Ranbo” Alexander

Small coffee shop in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice, especially with nice weather when you can sit outside or in the small park across the street. Coffee is delicious.

Michael Montgomery

Quite possibly the best iced latte I've ever had, and their coffee is fantastic too. This cafe is tiny but absolutely worth visiting.

Sherry

Great Americano, the mocha is too sweet for my liking. But the sandwiches, quiche, and wraps are tasty and they have some local artwork on display. I love the bright location to meet up with friends or enjoy a nice lunch.

Nick Man

A stylish neighbourhood coffee shop, bustling with locals. Delicious coffee and baked goods. Outdoor seating available: chairs, tables, picnic tables across the road

One of my favourite places. The coffee is to die for (and they make the best mocha and iced mocha in the city), and I love that it's nestled in a neighborhood rather than on a block of concrete among a million other businesses. This place is friendly and cozy, and it has a real sense of community about it. Major bonus; a patio for sitting outside, which is lovely on sunny days. No, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. You won't find local, organic premium quality at Tim Horton's, but you'll find it here. The staff are always lovely and smiling, and, yes, in the morning there's a bit of a wait, but no worse than what you'd find at Starbucks. And it's totally worth the wait once you have that coffee in your hands. It's a little cramped and I do find myself feeling like no matter where I go while waiting for my coffee, I'm in someone's way, but that's just the nature of the small space, and not a big deal. My issue with that is based more on social anxiety than anything else anyway! Overall, I genuinely love this bustling little local gem and hope it continues to thrive. It's also a great place to bring kids for an after school snack while you caffeinate. Side note: the chicken salad wrap is AMAZING.

Bri Bull

My new favourite place. I really like these kind of small cafes, away from the shopping district. A community style coffee place. Decent food, a nice view of a park, comfortable patio. Great especially in warm days.

Leanne Wilton

A great little spot. We live nearby and stop in frequently -- great hot drinks and snacks, tasteful and simple decor, and friendly staff. (We've ordered the take-home dinner special a few times as well, and been pleased with that, too.) Glad to have it in the neighbourhood!

Iain Warren

I don't often come across coffee shops that make a great almond milk latte, but let me tell you, Andrews on 8th is one of those rare places. So many coffee shops use terrible almond milk that does not steam well AT ALL. Drives me nuts (third world problem I know I know). Thank you for the great coffee, I will be back soon, and then I'll be back again after that, and then back again and again and again. Oh yah and great food too! :D

TJ Harmony

Love the sandwiches & coffee here.

Gregory Jones

Unbelievably delicious wrap, great coffee. Definitely recommend this place

Katie Lim

Had an Iced Americano, it was really good, as was the service. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Virginia Dee

Consistently delicious Americanos and 2% lattes. Excellent outdoor seating with a partial view of Burrard Inlet.

Ricardo Aguilar

Really great cafe, open on Sundays, baked goods and good hot drinks

Carly Marciniak

I got a gluten friendly and vegan banana bread chocolate chip muffin, which they had separated from the other baking. It had almost like a chocolate malted flavour with cinnamon maybe? It was delicious. It was moist and not too sweet and it was barely noticeable that it was gluten free. I wish I have more right now. I also got a hibiscus lemonade iced tea which was very refreshing. The service was great, my barista warned me she was new but she was friendly and efficient. They have great patio space outside. We will be visit again next time we visit Vancouver for sure.

Marianne Laurence

Cute and cozy place with a friendly atmosphere! The cinnamon bun was tasty, although it could definitely have benefited from being heat up.

Erika Spadafora

Despite how close it is to Lonsdale, this is such a wonderful quiet spot just up the road from the sea-bus. Very friendly staff, tasty food and all contained within a wonderful heritage building. Looking forward to coming back here regularly when the sun returns; there’s a convenient little park across the street to unwind as well if the cafe is busy!

Warren McNee

Best coffee house in town! Sticky-Cinnamon-Buns are to live for; saturday's only.... so come early to taste this spectacular delight that's sure to please.... just make sure you leave at least one for me!

Nigel Reedman

Great little spot!!! Has tasty coffee to fresh local juices and the goodies are fantastic. Very busy. It's off the beaten path. Can sit out side with your dog. I would recommend this spot.

Christopher Brodie-Smith

amazing and very cozy neighbourhood coffee shop . Had a breakfast and coffee with my littleone and we both loved the food and drinks. Servers were also very polite and professional. deffknitely the best coffee shop in the City of North Van hands down.

Louise Curtis

Hidden gem. It's worth your walk (or drive) just off Lonsdale. Great coffee, lots of food options including some delicious gluten free muffins. Cure atmosphere in an old heritage house.

Jacqueline Smithe

enjoyed my first visit toAndrews There were other coffee drinkers, no surprise, people buying snacks to go, police people grabbing coffee, and dog catchers chasing a dog in circles around the block. :) The coffee was good too.

Natalia Pisarek

Great coffee my favourite local spot for a latte. Tasty fresh pastries and treats also.

Ahmed

Great selection of food, but your coffee menu needs to be updated to include what you actually have. Just because it’s winter, doesn’t mean people stop drinking cold brew.

Hannah B

The BEST caramel macchiato I have ever had! Beautiful location and great vibe to the venue. Relaxed atmosphere-fast service. No straws, no cup sleeves-environmentally friendly. Cheers!

Auston Quinton

What a beautiful place nestled away in one of the friendliest neighbourhoods in the lower mainland. Come here to have great service and feel the vibrancy of the surrounding community. Also the coffee is good.

Tom K

Great neighbourhood cafe. Food is very tasty; I especially enjoy the Thai chicken wrap. They make a mean chai latte.

Ben Dogan

Great Coffee and excellent service ! I love it. 14 Aug 2016

Brook McEachern

This is a cute little coffee shop with a lot of special drinks! I had one that was the special of the day and it had a cookie in it. It was a pretty good latte

Katie

Brilliant local coffee shop! Friendly staff good service.

Cate Curry

Cozy bakery and cafe’ central location across from CaBoom Engineering :)

Shannon Hampton

Friendly staff, very good coffee and cake

Hannah Sanders

The coffee was great, but it was a bit pricey just for our coffees and pastries. The biggest turn off was the cashier/barista, who was quite rude. Still worth it for the coffee, but a bit annoying being spoken to like we were.

Cokepiggy Dev

Great little local coffee shop, with lots of yummy treats (and healthy options too). Friendly staff, excellent service.

Dan C

This is our go to coffee shop. Located in a heritage building in a quiet neighbourhood across from a small park. Great food and coffee, very pleasant atmosphere.

John Woollams

Nice place!! Seems very friendly and cozy. I took a breakfast croissant and a cappuccino, very satisfied!!

Amr Aboulnasr

Quaint little neighbourhood cafe, right next to a park with it's own training putting hole for the golfers out there. The staff are always friendly and helpful, lots of delicious pastry to choose from. Set in a heritage building with some nostalgia!

Nick Boparai

Cute local suburban coffee house, good coffee and range of drink options with non dairy milk alternatives. Delicious treats and hearty sandwiches. Always friendly service!

Marikym Hébert

Such a charming coffee shop in a beautiful older building. Good coffee and a nice selection of baked goods. Nice indoor setting and patio outside. Close to park with lots of picnic tables.

Dan J

I discovered this little hidden gem in a lovely residential neighborhood years ago and have visited several times since then. The staff is friendly, the food and “Moja” coffee is outstanding and they are very neighbourly too. Dropped in yesterday afternoon and the credit/debit machine wasn’t working and I didn’t have enough cash on me. I was gonna go to the bank and withdraw cash then return but the lovely barista told me that she would be happy to serve me and told me that I could pay them next time I was in! WoW! This gesture of trust and kindness blew me away!! I highly recommended this little neighborhood women owned coffee shop. Please support them. You will not be disappointed.

Tammy Brunin

This is a great neighbourhood coffee shop with some food. Friendly service and usually with lots of local people some using the wi-fi or chatting away. A nice and cozy place in one of the few heritage buildings in North Vancouver..

Maureen McCauley

Small, quaint shop. It's really peaceful and relaxing, esp. In the mornings. The food is fresh, and they toast your bagels on the spot when you order. Great place to have breakfast or grab coffee with friends!

Whitney Crawford

Went here and it's a neat coffee shop! It's really unique in a sense that it's placed in such a random location and it's style is much different than the coffee shops on Lonsdale. Have it a try if you're around the area

Jorge Villa

LOVE this little local cafe tucked away in the residential area of lonsdale. Cute atmosphere, nice pastries, and great coffee. There's even alittle shop area where you can buy jams, and mugs. We love stopping by here when we walk our dogs in the area, and I've brought friends from out of town here on several occasions and they all love it. Definitely recommend.

Jess Choi

This place is adorable and they have very good coffee!

Sheila Alwell

Nice day to sit in the park across the street, with my sweet and my Chai Latte and a good novel.

Lauren Hutchins

Really good coffee, served very hot. I love that this coffee shop is within walking distance and has a community feel to it.
