I remember when pizza hut was the place to go and the deep dish didn't leave you running for the deeper bowl. Oh well staff was good and food prep time was timely as well. ordered on the 5th of Aug 2016. placed my order online, and everything went well. that is, until the order showed up the driver was an older woman in her late 50's. when I opened the door, she literally dropped the case on my front porch. not placed it there, dropped it from around chest height. so around a 3 foot drop. whens he opened the pack to give me my order, i noticed one of the large chipit cookies. I asked what this was, she told me it was the cookie I ordered. I told her i didn't order a cookie. then the eye rolling, huge sighs and attitude started. I was told she didn't make the order, check the order, she just delivered the order. so did I want my order or not, she didn't care either way but she was in a hurry so could I just pay. it went on like this. very poor attitude, no customer service skills at all. I paid, of course. but, for very poor customer service, I don't tip. she noticed that and made a comment about it. and I told her...if you had had a better customer service attitude, you would've gotten a tip. thens he tells me next time I order, she isn't delivering to me. i can come pick it up or I just won't get it. nice. so, I open my food. wrong. I'd ordered the meal box. pizza, garlic bread sticks, chicken. the only thing right about my pizza order was the pepperoni. the rest of the toppings...wrong. buffalo chicken? no. honey garlic. so, I called the store. no offer to replace, just a weak apology about my order being wrong. never going back.

Terrible delivery experience on July 31 ordered at 8pm and order arrived on time but they gave me the wrong order - did not notice until the driver had just left. Called and was told it would be corrected and a new order would be sent out to me. I asked what should I do with the incorrect items which had now been opened and was told I should send them back which meant I had no food to eat. The driver returned approx 1/2 hour later with a second order that was also incorrect. I again called the store to have the problem corrected to have the supervisor on duty tell me that he personally inspected the items before they left but it was still wrong. I confirmed this with the driver when they delivered the second order but the supervisor would not believe me until I told him the driver was standing beside me and confirmed the food was incorrect. The correct order finally arrived at 10pm almost 2 hours later than the original order. They made me send back all the other food. What are they going to do with it? Deliver it to someone else?? I am a business owner and understand errors do happen on occasion but to argue with a customer is not acceptable for any supervisor on duty especially when the order was completely incorrect in qty and food items. They finally got the order right but who wants to eat dinner at 10pm on a sunday night and did not offer any assistance other than providing the correct order. This is just poor service. I have met and spoke with the owner of this location and know him to be quite amicable. Unfortunately they were on holidays and this kind of service should not be tolerated for anyone in food service. I would be glad to discuss this further by phone or email.

Horrible customer service. I have ordered several times in the past and the service has been great; this time was anything but. I understand with the COVID situation that most people would not be using cash; however the website listed cash as a payment option so that is what I selected. The bill came to $32.24 so I had $40 ready to pay for my bill and had planned to ask for $5 back in change. After ordering online, and receiving an email and a reasonable ETA, I proceeded to call the restaurant to double check if there would be any further delays just so I knew when to expect the delivery. I was told 10-15 mins extra; which I said was fine. Over 30 mins later, I noticed someone standing outside my house for at least 5 mins. He did not approach the house or try to ring the doorbell. So I opened my door to see the delivery driver and my order just standing in front of my house... I asked if everything was okay and if he was planning on ringing my door bell. The pizza was already cold and would need to be reheated at this point. He lied and said he’d rung the bell and no one answered. I corrected him and said I had seen him and watched him. When I went to pay him with cash; he then tried to tell me he did not have change and was just going to keep the almost $8. I said that is a lie and not what I ordered and was told on the phone. So I handed the pizza back, and said no thank you. He then said oh maybe he “had some change in his car”; and proceeded to return with $6. I accepted this and as he was leaving, he commented that I “should just chill.” I found this to be the most disrespectful part of the interaction. I had guests that included someone with Alzheimer’s and needs to eat regularly and stick to a schedule, waiting to eat. Hence why I called ahead in the first place. During this interaction I had tried to call the restaurant to clarify what was going on but was on hold. By the time I spoke with someone, I was told there wasn’t a manager available. The customer service representative I spoke with did try to handle the situation but clearly was not authorized or knowledgeable on how to appropriately deal with a complaint. I will be calling back in the morning to speak with a manager; but I will not be giving my business to this establishment after this interaction. It is very disheartening to see the lack of common curtesy and basic respect in an industry based in customer service. Extremely disappointed.

Update: So nearly a year later a friend wants Pizza Hut so I order only to find my account has been credited with $15. I would of liked that to be given at the time of complaint but still, they did compensate me. I am changing my 1 star to a 3 star review because it still leaves a bad taste (pun) in my mouth but they aren't total bad guys. I may return again with this knowledge but why wouldn't they let me know I was credited when they have my phone number and email? They aren't all bad. Unfortunately I am adding to the 'got the order wrong' list of reviews here. Seems to be common at this location. Along with a salad and garlic bread I ordered a 22 pc, honey garlic wings. I was told 15-20 minutes for pick up. Over 30 minutes later they gave me the food. When I got home to my hungry family we discovered we were given a 14 pc Buffalo wings. We don't go for anything remotely spicy so I couldn't just let it go. When I called back I got the manager on the phone and asked him what my order was. He confirmed it should of been the 22 pc H.G. wings. He offered delivery in 40 minutes. Unacceptable, my family is very hungry. I said I would drive back. He said ready in 10 min and to their credit it was done in 9. I returned the 14 pc Buffalo with 2 wings missing. I was clear that I was not happy to return on my own time and gas to correct their mistake. Manager offered the 14 pc mistake as "it's no good to me now". The spice level was no good to us either. I let it be known I wasn't happy with an "I'm sorry" as compensation. Manager said "Well what do you want then?". I said if he isn't able to offer anything then he wouldn't get any repeat business from me. He was fine with that. Wow. TL:DR Wrong orders seem to be common here. Regardless of inconveniences to the customer manager is unwilling to offer any compensation that has monetary value. How does corporate Pizza Hut let this store continue to devalue their brand? I will never return.

They put way too much cheese on the pizza, really salty bread sticks, uneven coating of sauce on the chicken wings. The cheese was too much we had to deconstruct the pizza. It was a last minute choice to eat here but might be the worst Pizza Hut I’ve eaten at.

Dining room was closed due to the lockdown so we walked in to do a takeout order. They were pretty busy but It seemed that my order seemed to take an extra long time. Initially I was told 20 minutes but it ended up to be an hour and 10 minutes. Would have probably would been faster if I just ordered delivery. I like Pizza Hut but I would recommend ordering delivery.

This is a typical pizza hut chain store. The exterior of the building, especially landscaping is in much need of attention. You get what you expect from this store for a bit more than you want to pay. With so many excellent local independent pizza shops in the area with better pizza, I personally wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here.

Ordered pasta from this location, it was not packaged properly and as a result the food was a complete mess when it arrived. Called the location and the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive about the issue, and at one point handed the phone to the driver as if I was supposed to have him help me instead. Tried calling the general complaints line about a refund or some kind of compensation instead, but the customer service agents have no authority to help at all. I have been calling for nearly two months once a week because the agent on the phone has to escalate to the problem to a manager for any actions to be taken, but the managers have just been marking my tickets as "Customer contacted: Issue resolved" without ever making an attempt to contact me at all. At most I've been offered a 10% discount on my next order, but after this experience I will likely not be ordering from this location again and just wish I could get a refund for my $50 box of destroyed pasta. Please, just order from Toppers instead. They have better pizza and its cheaper, the customer service exists as well, unlike with Pizza Hut I guess. Or go local and order from Ivans, they deliver as well and if there is ANYTHING wrong with your food they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. I once ordered a poutine from Ivans that was missing one topping, and within 20 minutes they were at my door with a free replacement without me even having to ask, I was just expecting a refund for the missing topping. With Pizza Hut I had a $50 order ruined because it wasn't packaged properly, the driver had nothing to do with it, he had no idea it was pasta sliding around in that giant pizza box. And instead of trying to correct this, the manager tells me "Too bad, we don't have lids, sucks for you" and says he's not gonna do anything about it. The food is alright at Pizza Hut, but its overpriced and very unprofessional. If there are any issues with your order, do not expect them to care or help you at all. Absolutely not worth the hassle when you could go somewhere cheaper that will make an effort to actually get the food you ordered to your house in one piece

I don't know how many corners they are cutting but I am tired of this. First I order a pizza and they forget the bacon entirely. (we paid extra for the bacon) so they only give us a 15$ credit on a 34$ order(after adding toppings and whatnot) . Then the cinnamon buns were soggy and under cooked in the middle, but I wasnt about to call back and complain on the same order (oh they also forgot our salad) Then I called back to setup ordering the same and get quoted 44$ with my discount... what the f... Okay got a manager to fix that but my Cinnamon buns were still soggy and under cooked -_- not ordering any extras from here again.. Then today I called and its 12:30 pm lunch time all over Ontario, and they say they don't have drivers till 4. That better be someone calling in sick because if that's schedule based then that's just poor service as it makes it impossible for someone to get an online deal before then!!! So to sum it up their 15.99 make a meal deal is about the cost of just was messed up in my 20.99 meal. I ordered 1 size up so i could get me and my family a side of boneless bites and a salad. In the end thats all my family ate and I paid them 15$ for it. I am disgusted with the service here and DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE GO HERE. Its sad to see this store fall so low since its been here since I was a child and Burger King was still a thing in town. I hope a change of management or maybe head office steps in to help but at this point I don't see that being very likely.

The food is consistently good, and the service is always friendly and fast. The lunch buffet is a good value, and you can be in and out very quickly if you are in a hurry, The restaurant, itself, could use some work. The benches in some of the booths are cracked or torn, and the decor is generally outdated. Overall, though, a pretty good place to eat for a reasonable price!

Ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra bacon, and instead we got a bacon lovers (with tomato sauce) and it turned out to be a happy mistake as we loved it so much that we ordered it 3 or 4 times again and it always came with tomato sauce. Then one time we ordered bacon lovers with extra pep and extra green peppers, and it came with alfredo sauce as well (it showed alfredo sauce as an extra on the receipt right beside pepperoni and green peppers), which we did not order because it would kill my wife who is allergic to eggs. My wife who just got home from a 12 hour shift and was starving did not notice this before she opened the pizza and took a bite.. After giving her allergy meds and making sure she didn't go anaphylactic , I called and had a heated debate with the manager who is pretty much the owner in his words (Kyle). Apparently true, and also sad with how condescending he was, implying that he was right no matter what and we were wrong. Granted, apparently alfredo sauce is normal on bacon lovers, but he wouldn't even conceive the idea that we came across bacon lovers when they messed up our order, or that they did it several times after and we kept getting it with tomato sauce, or that I had the receipt that said alfredo sauce was an extra on it.. So after calling customer service and being told the head office would get back to me within a week and not receiving any such call, I decided to boycott pizza hut for a bit. It's hard to deny the $5 deal though and when my friend ordered for us tonight to watch the NHL playoffs with and this happened I couldn't not post a review, hopefully they don't kill someone. Added the pics as proof of this one, seeing as head office or the management don't care what their employees do.. Receipt shows the items ordered, mainly the bacon lovers with extra tomato sauce.. Then a pic closer, and for those that can't make it out I pulled apart the one piece to show the alfredo sauce. Receipt has the date from today.

Ordered two pizzas, breadsticks and pasta. Our pizza and breadsticks were burnt. The pasta I received wasn’t even the one I ordered. The food was hardly edible. And delivery was almost a half hour late. Called and complained to the restaurant and all he could offer was 10% off my next order. The only nice thing about the entire experience was the delivery guy. If I could give less than one star I would. Never ordering from here again.

Terrible experience. The first time we decide to pay in advance online, suddenly the food takes 45 minutes longer than normal. When I called the store to inquire, I was told by "Kyle the future owner" that the wait was "too bad" before he ignored me and starting talking to other staff while I was asking for help. Terrible.

Absolutely horrible place! I preorder (3 days in advance) 8 pizzas for my daughters birthday party. The day of the party I called the store at 11:15 to confirm the pizzas would be delivered for 1:30 as I previously arranged. I would told yes they would be there on time. At 1:44 I stepped away from my daughters party and called because my pizzas had not arrived.,i was told any minute they would be there. At 1:58 I was calling back as I has 25 hungry kids to feed and my pizzas still hadn't arrived, I was told there was nothing he could do he was short drivers. (not my problem) finally at 2:05 the pizza arrived.i couldn't refuse them due to having 25 hungry children. So angry and on a time limit I had to take them. The driver left and then returned with a pizza he had forgotten...this is the worse pizza place in north bay for customer service and I will never order from pizza hut again!

Definitely the worst pizza place in the city. It saddens me to know their has been a second location built. I asked them for a large veggie and for some odd reason, I get a pepperoni pizza. I understand restaurants don't have the most requirements to get the job; I suggest having IQ tests or literacy tests done before employing. Never going back to the establishment. NEVER.

We went in for the lunch buffet. $10 each all you can eat. There was pizza, macaroni and cheese, french fries and dessert. Service was great. It's cheaper than the fast food joints!!????

If i could give it less then one star i would give it a negative 4 stars!! Since its new ownership and management, the quality has gone completely!! Both pizza huts in north bay are terrible and i will never eat there ever again!! I hope more people dont put up this kind of quality decline, refusing to give them there bussiness, forcing them to sell to quality minded owner!!

We ordered three pizzas, one gluten free and two gluten pizzas. My husband picked up the pizzas while I was out doing errands. When I got home three hours after he had picked up the pizzas and discovered that they were all gluten pizzas, I called and requested that they correct the mistake because I am unable to eat gluten pizzas. The first thing they did was blame me for the mistake and then told me that they didn't know what to do. Management argued that they couldn't do anything about the mistake because it was three hours after the pizzas had been picked up. They apparently only give you one hour to discover a mistake with a pizza order. Management finally agreed to correct the mistake after much discussion. When we picked up the gluten free pizza, it was sloppily made, had very little cheese, and barely had any toppings on it. Thanks a lot Pizza Hut North Bay! Staff frequently close the store early. They should be taking orders until 9:00 PM, but they stop taking orders around 8:30 PM. The customer service or pizza quality at this location is unacceptable.

Delivery person coughed all over the pizza. Called and complained after my guests left, immediately we threw in dumpster due to covid. I called and they wanted me to retrieve the pizza and return it to the store. They asked why I did not call immediately, well my friends, I have a living room of guests. I called as soon as they left, furthermore, the attitude was I was lying and that made me even happier I disposed of the contaminated pizza as I now as positive they would have re-sold. I have tried to call customer service to no avail, trying again today to het a manager. If I get no were contacting covid reporting with police to investigate why this delivery person was even at work and hacking all over my halls, the pizza, the railings in my condo area.

Would not deliver pizza to NBRHC after my son was born, because I didn't know the exact address. Since I do not live there, I did not know the address except for to tell them its the only hospital in North Bay. Horrible customer service.
