Great homemade food! Try the pulled pork sandwich with apple coleslaw, the curried Waldorf salad wrap, or Indian tacos if you’re lucky enough to go on a Tuesday. And bonus tip: if pickle soup is the soup of the day, get it! No worries though on what to order, since it’s ALL delicious.

It is clear that Oak East Eatery food is made with love and so much soul. I was excited to see that they are offering taco Tuesday taco kits complete with home made fry bread and all the fixings. They told me they were offering because Pow wows were cancelled during the pandemic, and they thought people would want to have a taste of the pow wows this summer. Fantastic idea! What a special treat! Thank you/miigwetch !

My favourite downtown restaurant! And I'm pretty sure I'm a regular now with how often I order their 'Goat Cheese Quesada' special on Thursdays. Whenever I have a lunch date or someone is in town, I always ask if they want to go to Oak Street. Their coffee is good, they have ice cream in the summer and hot chocolate and baked goods year round. Their portions are AMAZING too. I order their salad (if it's not a Thursday!) and if I'm super hungry I'll eat it all but often times I have leftovers. There is a great breakfast and lunch menu and they feature local art on the wall that is for sale.

I Enjoyed my lunch today. Had the Curried Chicken Waldorf wrap along with the dill pickle soup. Was my first time trying the soup and it was absolutely awesome. Also enjoyed the Apple crisp topped with ice cream. Left there completely full. Love the food and had great service.

My favourite local restaurant. After a great meal I usually grab a bottle of their homemade salad dressing. Great staff, lots of smiles and laughs. They usually have an amazing selection of paintings by local artisans for sale as well.

I discovered this little restaurant "Oak East Eatery" today Oct 1st 2020, I was in a hurry and ordered a wrap to go. It was by far the best wrap I ever ate in my life. I will definitely be back. The wrap was "Curried Chicken Waldorf" Crisp salad greens with green apples, dried cranberries, candied pecans, red onions and house-roasted chicken in a curri.

My son and I came across the Oak East Eatery today and stopped in for a bite to eat. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were generous and we were made to feel very welcome. We were highly impressed! There were many vegetarian options which will suit my daughter when we bring her next time.

MY GO-TO LUNCH SPOT! Fantastic healthy options (my favourite are their wraps) and delicious fresh soup. Specials and daily soups are always posted on their facebook page which I appreciate. I dont bother going anywhere else for lunch, I'm never disappointed by their food and prices. Fast and friendly service always! Highly recommend this little gem!
