In comparison to other Michaels stores, this particular one is pretty awful. They have poor selection, it's very hard to find staff to help, it's not very often that a staff member is knowledgeable enough about the products to help, prices are high. I only go to this store if no other store in North Bay has what I'm looking for. Oh, and they cannot special order items from their website (what's the point of showing products if you can't get them?), or get items from other stores. If they're out of something that they've definitely carried before, staff won't be able to tell you if it will be shipped to their store again, because ordering is apparently handled at the corporate level. Now for the positives: It's a very clean store... You'll never find their products dusty or find garbage/damaged products anywhere. If I'm looking for something specific and they don't have it, they'll often have something similar that will do until I can order something online, and considering that they are pretty much the only craft store in North Bay, they do have a lot of departments within the store (just not a lot of selection in these departments).

Probably the best Michaels I’ve been to. The staff is wonderful, the prices are understandable since it’s a craft store. They have kids programs and classes. I’d recommend this store for crafting needs to most people.

Although the prices can be kind of on the expensive side they always have a clearance rack and a 50% off coupon. The staff there are super nice and they have absolutely everything you could ever need for anything involving art and crafting.

I bought all the packages of the product that I need for my wedding...Unfortunately it wasn't enough. I asked the cashier when they would be ordering in more and she told me to come back on Wednesday to see if they were in. So I called Wednesday evening and spoke with someone and they told me yes they were in Stock. So I jumped in my car and drove over there and to my suprise they were not there.I went to the cashier (same lady I spoke with over the phone) and she basically called me a liar saying that she did not speak with me. In this, the manager was there also and she took my number and told me that the truck was still unloading and she would give me a call the next day and let me know. Well shockingly (not really after the previous day experience) I received no phone call. So I called the store back in the evening and spoke with someone else who said they would go check. Had me on hold for maybe 10 seconds and came back saying they don't carry them... now I have to scramble to find the same product else where as I do not have enough. Terrible experience and worst customer service I have had in a long long time.

Their curbside pick up is amazing! I compared prices to Walmart and got a bigger pack of cardstock, better colour selection and it was CHEAPER! And I was able to get it within an hour for pick up. Just drove up, called the number, and they ran out the order. Was so impressed and was embarrassed that I even tried with Walmart for craft supplies.

massively over priced, the staff never really seems to know where things are...assuming you can find someone who can try to help you. don't count on much being in stock, it appears whoever does the ordering just sort of orders whatever. you go to the web site and it says in stock...but, it's not. essentially just a massive waste of time.

I used to wonder how this store stayed in business. Then I got engaged and visited the store to get wedding supplies. Since then I've spent thousands on framing and craft supplies for neices and nephews. Lots of cool stuff for the hobbyist. Prices seem inflated however there are frequent sales in the 40-60% off range.
