Gotta love the food! We stopped by once and and it won’t be the last. I was disappointed though, as we brought our child and naturally ordered them food too. The waitress completely forgot about my kids food and we tested her to see if she noticed, she didn’t even bring the food until we were done our meal. It was dead in there she was just distracted. It’s not the businesses fault.

I grew up in the neighborhood. Many friends and even my own brother called this place they're first place of employment. Today I spent 50$ for 3 burgers and fries which isn't bad..... but the burgers were from a box... the fries were soggy and barely had gravy... worst meal in North bay in my entire life.

Being 2 disabled individuals with a service dog... The staff was great but the owner harassed us about bringing our support animal in with us. She was rude and unapologetic... Had I been in a wheelchair, she probably would have kicked me out or just stopped me at the door and turned me around. Her treatment of us was embarrassing... I will be writing a lot more about this later.

I have never had Mozzarella sticks done so perfectly in my life!! Our serving sizes were the perfect size! The atmosphere was adorable, I loved how old fashioned it was. We were driving through on Sunday morning Sept. 8th 2019 and trying desperately to find a proper place to have a nice sit-down breakfast ???? and here if we didn’t see the wonderful, beautiful Diner right on the corner! Hey what an incredible discovery!!! The waitress that served us what so sweet and kind and chatted with us, on top of it was from the same part of the country as where my parents are now living, what a small world. We just love the ambiance is diners and this one is right up there at the top of the list! It’s been around for decades, since 1975, and it’s not for nothing! What great food! Wish this place was close to home cuz we’d be there all the time!! Can’t say enough good things about this lovely place! It sure made our day!!

And what a lunch. Good portion and great taste. And the price is very reasonable. (Original) Restaurant ancien style mais très bonne nourriture. Les employés sont accueillants. First off this place feels like it’s from the 50 awesome decor and great staff. If you are military you also get 10 percent discount as well. Ordered the steak sub and it was amazing. Prices were cheap for the large portion of food received as well. And for that it gets a five star rating.

I personally like this little greasy spoon 50’s diner inspired location in North Bay. First, portions and price are great, so you will always get a satisfying meal. Second, it’s so much fun checking out the classic decor around the walls. Lastly they do the hoagie of the day eh I I always love trying because the combos they come up with are great. If you are looking for something quick, cheap, and comfort style food this is the place, especially if it needs to be quick because they are located along the highway off the O’Brian exit.

Food was good and service was ok. The reason for 3 stars is we were finishing with breakfast and was asked if anything else was needed. Asked if we could have a refills of coffee in a to go cup. She said sure. Got it for us. Little did we know we got charged FULL PRICE for two cups to go. I don't know other places that do that. Pretty stupid. At least let the customer know that you are getting charged for a whole other drink. They can decline it if they don't want to pay. So for two people we paid for four coffees. Would have said no if we knew. COMMUNICATE THE PRICE WITH THE CUSTOMERS!

This used to be my favorite breakfast spot when on my way through North bay. Stopped in recently and was very surprised at the mediocre food quality and the terrible coffee. Food service was acceptable but not the upbeat atmosphere I'd seen in the past. Sad to say I probably won't be back as even the once beautiful 50's Diner style decor has gone downhill like the quality of the food :(

This is a very quaint diner. Good fast service. I was in a hurry and ordered the basic menu. The food was really good, especially the potatoes. The sausages were larger than average and not too greasy. The only point that I was not happy about, is that the coffee was not included in the breakfast price. The breakfast costed just over 10.00$. For a basic breakfast during the week, this was a little expensive.

Our first visit was a busy Sunday breakfast time. Despite this service was fast without being pushy. Both my wife and I had the basic bacon and egg breakfast but still had a choice of four different breads for toast, home fries deep fried or grilled and lots of coffee refills. Good solid basic breakfast and we will definitely be back.

This is pretty much a Sunday morning tradition for me. The staff are polite and quick. Food has never been an issue in terms of speed to the table or accuracy. It helps that I'm such a regular that they pretty much already know what I'm ordering. I would highly suggest stopping for breakfast if you can. I recommend the veggie omelette or the ultimate omelette.

Went tonight for fries and a poutine, worse meal I have ever got From a chip truck. The pogo was over fried, and so greasy I couldn’t eat it. Very little fries and not much cheese. They Didn’t give us any napkins and she asked for a tip when I was paying. What upsets me the most is having to write this revue . Was not a good experience at all. I definitely will not go back.

My partner and I were only in North Bay for one day and were happy we found Hoagies. They were closed for seat in because of Covid, but still treated us super friendly. I stop at Hoagie's Diner when traveling through North Bay. Yesterday, I had the Beef Barley Soup and Tex-Mex Hoagie with home-cut fries. The meal was absolutely delicious. I am never disappointed. The staff is terrific too: Heather, Bonnie & Kate.

Been coming to North Bay for 8 years, and I've eaten here at Hogies several times however this will be the last time I eat here. Last time I was here the steak was flavourless and over cooked. Left half of it on my plate, and the vegetables were cold. Today I ordered liver and onions with mash Potatoes. The mash was barely mashed with huge chunks and was cold along with the corn which was cold and stale. The onions barely cooked and we're almost raw. They should be caramelized. Instead they were crunchy. Worst mash I've ever had, anyone can mash a Potatoe with their bare hand. I miss my kitchen were I can out cook the cook here by a million to one. So disappointed with the food here, it's flavourless and cold. I'm sure in the past it was great food but I strongly believe they won't be around to much longer. Stick with burgers and leave the real cooking to folks who enjoy and are good at it.

Worst Ruben sandwich I've ever had! Very little meat and mustard had to ask for sauerkraut even then took the cook a couple of tries to get that right. He gave the waitress coleslaw first time then tartare sauce the second time. Finally did get sauerkraut. Not impressed at all!

Told we could sit anywhere that was available so we took a booth. Then we were asked to move to a 2 person table by the kitchen door incase a bigger party came in. I've never been asked to move in a restaurant before to accommodate people who aren't even there. Unacceptable. We frequently go to this place and the food is great. But this was rude and unprofessional. There are lots of other places in town to spend your money.

We love eating here. It's a small 50's style diner with really great food. I actually always eat the same thing when I go, Ultimate Egg Scrambler. However anyone else who ever comes with me always really enjoy their meal as well. I love bringing people here because the staff are really personable and friendly and usually you get good service "or" good food, rare that you always find both.

Great atmosphere, good service. Food was piping hot. We had the fish and chips special which was a real bargain for 2 good sized pieces of Haddock. The only rub is I had to hail my waitress for my 2nd beer and we never got the malt vinegar my wife asked for. I get that these are trivial things but I'm a bit of a customer service stickler All in all I would highly recommend Hoagies. Food was good and can't beat the prices. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic 50's style diner in North Bay. Excellent comfort food and large food portions. I have never left hungry. Fair prices. Always visit for a meal when in the area. Good service. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. A must go to destination in North Bay!
