So far I've been to all dispensaries here in North Bay, and its safe to say that ???? and ???? still remains my #1 go to for all my green needs. The staff is what makes me come back tbh. They always make me feel welcomed and most of them even remember me by name now. I know this doesn't mean anything to some, but personally customer service is a big deciding factor on how frequently I'll return to any business..these guys are knowledgeable, super friendly and they always go the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied. The fact that I'm a 5 min walk away is the cherry on top????

There are a large number of cannabis shops open in North Bay, making it sometimes overwhelming to know where to start. Fire & Flower is clean and looks professional, as do all of the other shops in town. What caused me to walk through their doors was their wide variety of CBD dominant products, and was prompts me to return over and over again is their broad product knowledge and their fabulous customer service. This is an excellent shop to fulfill your full spectrum cannabis needs.

I went to retrieve my order from the store on Algonquin Avenue this afternoon and had a horrible experience. Upon arrival I was greet politely and asked for ID when I arrived, which is a nice set up, however my ID was declined due to it being expired. The employee then proceeded to tell me (in a condescending way) “If you can just go to Service Ontario down the road to get that renewed it’ll only take 20 minutes”. I did this, and was informed by Service Ontario all ID is valid even without renewal due to COVID. When I returned to the store I asked to speak to the manger and the same employee that was there informed me he was the AGM; when I explained what was told to me at Service Ontario he responded with “Well, no actually. We report to the AGCO and that’s different”. Although I understand this may be the case, there is an expected standard for how an assistant manager handles an annoyed customer. There was no attempt to properly deescalate the situation which easily could have been done in the first interaction and squashed the whole issue. Furthermore as I approached the till the GM was at the till to cash me out, when I tried explaining the situation and what had happened I got met with the same rude and condescending challenges that the AGM had given me at the door. After leaving the store my partner informed me that the GM continued to talk poorly about me to the other customers in the store as well. I understand that the policies are different everywhere, but one thing remains the same this is a customer service role and as such there needs to be an attempt to rectify a situation when a customer is unhappy. On this occasion, there was no consideration given to the customer or the inconvenience that it caused. As well to conclude my lovely trip to the store, there was a lack of sufficient signage to indicated where they would like customers to exit and the AGM was not the most polite about telling me where to exit. As there are so many differing setups from store to store, I would recommend providing proper and clear signage to indicate flow of traffic during COVID times. Overall, beautiful store and layout, but the management team needs to be retrained on customer deescalation and how to interact with customers. As a result of this interaction I will no longer be shopping at this location and will be spreading the word around. This is an awful example of customer service.

I have been steadily weaning myself off of medications for the last five years now & have been in North Bay since last July, working on the last medication, while getting back into shape. I have to say that it's been frustrating for me, getting my usual weed necessities to battle my chronic pain issues & have to say that out of the three companies that I've dealt with, that Fire & Flower was the most helpful as well as the most courteous recreational weed company in North Bay. I think that I might be sticking with this company, if they can figure out a discount for us Elder's. Great place, good prices for top notch weed. This was my first experience with a brick & mortar type dispensary and was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable Mat was as I entered the store. Very professional and I liked how the rules don’t waver for any patrons. I’m 50 years old and was asked for ID before browsing. The store was well organized and extremely clean, but it was Mat’s informative and kind suggestions that made it an even more enjoyable shopping experience. I certainly would highly recommend this place for anyone from experienced to novice. ????

Been in here three times. Twice the clerk tried to up-sell me on the flower and attach some accessories to the sale. I've basically felt like a target that the clerk was trying to pin down because they've got some sort of metric they're expected to hit, which felt more important than simply getting me the product I actually asked for. This third time I spent about 20 minutes in the parking lot to avoid this by trying to set up an online order and the store went 0-10 on flower that was out of stock. Went for whatever the doorman could set me up with. Place is clean, staff is nice, but the checkout process is slow. Just an annoying shopping experience to be honest.
