Terrible place. Ordered a large Ceasar salad to share the waitress came with a different salad saying oh the chef made you a different salad. Placed it on the table and left. When the meal came my Lasagna was half hot in one side and half fridge cold on the other. I asked and she said oh the chef is having a bad day today and the oven is not heating evenly. They re heated it brought it back and was a pool of molten cheese totally uneatable. I asked for the bill and the waitress removed the Lasagna from the bill. Very disappointed will never go back.

The food was a sad excuse of a meal,I felt like I was entering depression when eating this meal. The cream sauce tasted like milk, my friends meal was bland and the vegetables were barley cooked. It looked like the plates were prepared 2 weeks ago and warmed in the microwave 2 minutes before we arrived.

Cosy spot. Had the salad, chicken parm and NY striploin and it was perfectly cooked. Everything was tasty and the portions were big. Didn't have enough space to get dessert. $4 domestic bottles, too. It's also open relatively late.

Absolutely used to love it here. But I am absolutely appalled by the service the passed few times I have gone. This time me my mother and three others went out for dinner and ended up leaving after 30 minutes of waiting for drinks. No acknowledgement by the waitress either. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant. The waitress seem to be on a brain vacation whenever we go in there.

Great Italian food. Very authentic. This is the second time I have been there and there was not an adequate number of wait staff. They had to pull the bartender yet again. The two who were waiters were amazing but worked off their feet. Hire some wIt staff please! Because everything else is outstanding!

I have been a fan of Farina's for many years. But, after my last visit I may not be back. The beautiful ambiance of the dining room is left unused now. Instead we were told that we could sit in the lounge, outside - AT A PICNIC TABLE. Sorry, but I will not pay $22 a plate to site at a picnic table. They had to close the dining room due to staffing, which was clearly a problem. Our poor waiter was waiting tables and bartending, and was clearly too busy. It took 10 minutes to take a drink order. Appetizers came with no side plates. I asked if we were to get bread, and he said he's grab it, but never did. Our meal took almost 3 hours, and they had to turn away people because they lacked table space. If they had more servers they could move people faster and sell more tables. The food was good, but not amazing like usual. The arancini lacked flavour, the ravioli was under-stuffed and the sauce was soupy - which was why we needed the bread. I was very disappointed with just about everything about my $100 Anniversary dinner - except the company.

The dish I had was really good (mushroom ravioli). The bread and appetizers were authentic and really nice. My family got the lasagna special which was unfortunately kind of a let down as it was lukewarm and too soft. The decor looks like italian archways.

Excellent service and unbelievable food! The arancini were delicious and homemade bread with olive oil & balasmic - yum! Our server was spot on with drink recommendations and service. Make sure you order the Nippissing Sunrise or the Strawberry Lemonaide cocktail. After a long drive it will refresh you. For dinner we had the shrimp alfredo and their top dish which was the mushroom ravioli. Dessert was the raspberry chocolate tartafu. Every bite was cooked with love .... you could tell. Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection! What a winner for the Best Western & North Bay. Congrats to your whole team.

Decor is nice with Italian theme. Had breakfast, eggs benny was good. Coffee tasted like instant? As per other reviews, servers were doing their best but understaffed so slow and tables were not cleared while people looked for seats? Ok to have on your way out in travels but would not make and effort to eat there.

Went for dinner and then breakfast the next morning while staying in the hotel. It was super convenient and the food was great. Reasonably priced. The atmosphere is aimed more towards older people and you could hear the wedding down the hall quite a bit though.

Today my mom ordered from Farina and overall we were quite disappointed. First off, the online ordering system is very hard to understand. We ordered the family chicken parmesan dinner and the portion size is quite small for the price you are paying, as the picture shows you get 4 pieces of chicken, a small container of the pasta and salad of your choosing, as well as a random container of vegetables that we weren’t expecting. We paid extra for the bruschetta bread and thought we ordered another caesar salad, but like I mentioned earlier their site in not user friendly and apparently we didn’t order it. Finally, the site takes payments through PayPal and the first time we tried the payment didn’t go through and so we tried again and were successful. However we got a call from the restaurant indicating two orders were placed, we clarified the mistake and were told it was no problem and to just tell the delivery driver that it was paid for when he arrived. This resulted in another phone conversation, so that the restaurant could tell the delivery driver that didn’t understand the situation that yes the food has been paid for. After contacting the restaurant to tell them that we were dissatisfied, they responded by saying that they are aware of their online menu problems and that they thought they did a great job. Therefore, I wouldn’t order from Farina Risorante again or recommend it, as you can find much better food in this town for a more reasonable prices and portion sizes.

we went there for dinner tonight, the service was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The menu had broad and unique options. We ordered deep fried boccicini, prosciutto pizza, and limone lava torta; everything was delicious, especially the dessert I will definitely be back soon to have it again.

My husband had the mushroom ravioli and I had the chicken parmesan served over risotto. Both were exceptional! We also had the Farina salad and bruschetta bread. Both were good. We will return.

Chef know what he know and food must be his life cause I have never been happier knowing I had my wedding here. The staff were beyond professional and a curated menu helped streamline orders and helped curb and meet our budge too. The setting was great and we had our even in the elegant bar area. The food was amazing as well. 25 people fed and happy in about 2 hours including chatting time and a rather slow paced eating as well we were chatting or dinner right :D

Under staffed. Food was served cold. I mean the butter wouldn't melt on the toast.The eggs were cold and rubbery and the hashbrowns were cold. Service was equally as slow and disjointed. One member of the family got served after everyone else and after the front desk clerk took another customer order and checked out another customer's bill.

It is not a good Italian restaurant. Feels like eating an Italian dish cooked by McDonald’s. My order arrived in 5 minutes,it is pasta. Feels the taste of fast food. No plans to come back here again. Feels like I should have to go somewhere else ! Nice and quiet atmosphere.
