Ordered the bbq Korean steamed buns and the sea bass. The buns were really good, 10 bucks is a fair price for that. The sea bass was good as well, I would have liked the skin to be crispy on the bass, it was soft. The broth was really good. The owner sat at the bar next to me and was very friendly.

My husband and I celebrated our 44th anniversary at Churchill's. What can I say from the delicious homemade breadTo the dill pickles and tasty spreads the warm.cozy decor...yes flowers on the tables a plus. The prime rib was mouthwatering and the veggies were perfectly cooked and very plentiful.new potatoes perfection We will return for sure and recommend it.The house special take on Cesar salad was heavenly and a meal itself.Excellent friendly attentive wait staff.Bravo North Bay you have a winner.

Attentive service and a British ambiance help make Churchill's a very good choice for a pleasant, definitely above average dining experience. The menu is varied, and you can eat in the pub or enjoy fine dining in a more formal setting. The salads are really fresh and tasty. The prime rib (the signature Churchill's dish) is excellent. We also tried the tiger prawn pasta; there was no skimping on the perfectly prepared prawns .

We were just in North Bay overnight and on our way back to the hotel from the waterfront, we stopped in on the spur of the moment for dessert. It was 9:30 on a Saturday night and we were very casually dressed (jeans and T-shirts) and we were still treated as well as the better dressed customers. We sat in the piano bar section in a cosy romantic booth and had a fabulous creme brulee and tartufo. I also had one of the best Old Fashioned cocktails I've had in a long time. There are different rooms based on the occasion you are there for and I would not hesitate to go again if I'm back in North Bay.

I had eaten here twice in the past and had exceptional experiences, however my last experience was very disappointing and a bit creepy. Our server was excellent. I made our reservation weeks in advance and the 4 of us were very much looking forward to a very nice meal to celebrate the marriage of my partners sister to her fiancée. To start we tried to order champagne. Real champagne from France, not a sparkling wine. They had just recently sold their last bottle of our first choice a few days earlier. When we tried to order the second choice we received the same answer. Our choices were then limited to Dom, at $350.00 per bottle or a sparkling wine. At this point I asked, only half jokingly, if the liquor store was still open. This was very disappointing, as one of the things they promote is their large wine selection that is updated weekly. The appetizers were very good. For a main course my partner and ordered rack of lamb. To my amazement we were only served 3 ribs each! Must have been a hell of a lamb! I have ordered this item in restaurants all across the country and other parts of the world, but never was served only three ribs. The ribs were good such as they were, however the vegetables looked like table scraps withsome over cooked, some under cooked and some properly cooked. My partner does not eat very much as a rule, but after bread, appetizer and main course he left hungry as did the rest of us....... then to top the evening off my partners sister forgot her mask and when she returned to retrieve it she was stopped in the narrow passageway by an older man who she took to be the owner and he started coming on to her. He asked her where she was from and what her name was among other things and as she was going out the door he said “call me some time.” She told us this after rejoining us in the parking lot. She said that she and a girlfriend of hers had stopped there once before for drinks and the same old guy invited himself to sit with them for a similar experience. Suffice to say none of us will be back, but if you intend to eat at this establishment I suggest you eat a lunch before you go, bring your own champagne and accompany any good looking young women in your party as you pass by the old letcher at the gate.

The staff at the hotel we were staying at recommended Churchills which was within walking distance. The main restaurant area is upscale and we were woefully underdressed after a long day riding our motorcycles, but thankfully there is a separate and cozy pub section where we were welcomed - there is a special pub menu with many very reasonably priced options, however the (albeit much more expensive) main dining room menu was also available to order from in the pub. All of our meals were absolutely spectacular - tasty and cooked to perfection. Just wish the table service was a little bit better, but overall a great experience. Thanks!

I went immediately after completing my last exam of my undergrad. I needed a place that was beyond good and had absolutely amazing service to just top off my day and Churchills delivered. Classy and friendly it's the perfect place for those special occasions and special celebrations. I also went for my parents 25th wedding anniversary and it just hit the spot as the right place to be. There is even a baby grand begging to be played!

Fantastic experience! Arrived in town late and the staff at Churchill's were amazing. Very accommodating crew at the bar and extremely knowledgeable about the area. With a great menu selection, I'd definitely recommend the crab cakes. Next time I pass through North Bay I'll be sure to stop by Churchill's again.

I have eaten at a lot of higher end restaurants in the past. The service here was fine but the food was mediocre at best tried the rib eye steak and prime rib prime rib was a little over cooked and kinda bland. The steak was better I don’t think for the price it was worth it It’s hard to beat the keg chain of restaurants

Churchill's put on a fantastic New Year's staff party last night for Burger World. My wife and I are vegan and she is gluten free. Normally we predict that we'll get a garden salad, pasta, and fruit salad at these types of events but Churchill's went above and beyond and absolutely delighted us with an incredible meal that met all of our dietary requirements while being remarkably pleasing to the tastebuds! Our group enjoyed a superb late-dinner meal here tonight. I had one of the best burgers of my life. The vegan in our party enjoyed a delicious noodle dis.and others ordered chicken and a salad. Everyone remarked on how great their food was. We ate outside under a tent with picturesque lighting. Our server was amazing; she was knowledgeable, responsive, and personable. Prices are slightly higher for our market, but this is an example of getting what you pay for: twice as expensive as fast food with about five times the fllavour which is well worth it. Bread and spread was served while we waited. I highly recommend eating here for a wonderful dining experience.

For mains we had the striploin, which was nice but certainly had better. The side of baked potato was somewhat dry. The ribs were exquisite, they were so delicious and tender, would definitely have them again. Creme brûlée fur desert can’t go wrong.

Went to Churchhill’s in North Bay for dinner and had the Prime Rib. It came with their own in house horseradish. They shave it and it looks like shedded Parmesan cheese. It was hands down the best meal I have had in a long time and truly the best horseradish I have ever had in my life. My wife Michelle had the confit duck pasta. We had a reservation for Valentine's Day dinner. Upon arrival management (Jimmy) was not seating people by reservations just picking and choosing to overfill his restaurant. After waiting for over an hour past our reservation time we were seated. Both meals arrived cold and had to be sent back. This was after my order could not be filled because they ran out of bison. An apology from our server was their solution to several complaints about the poor management and cold food - more proof of the terrible service. Overall terrible experience, and the owner/manager doesn't know how to manage his restaurant. Also had off shift kitchen staff sitting in the bar on a busy night, instead of ramping up and following their on reservation book. Would not recommend this restaurant. Several other unhappy couples experienced the same poor service that night. Contacted the owner to relay my unhappiness with his restaurant - no response.

Two hours after ordering our prime rib dinner it comes to the table cold. Vegetables were not cooked and only offered a dessert or part of the bill compt. Definitely not worth a star even. Don't waste your time or money at this restaurant.

Terrible experience. All 4 of our wine selections were out of stock...the wine list proved almost useless. Then the wine they picked we were over charged us on the bill...and took forever to bring. The steaks were tough and the plates cold. All the dinners were over cooked. One dinner was wrong and the waitress, who was pleasant, offered to comp the dinner by saying they couldn't cut another steak (LOL). Then the bill only took off half of the value and kept on the mushrooms! My mashed potatoes were lumpy. Trying to over charge us for bad cold overcooked food instead of apologizing is not the way to run a business, especially considering the prices are expensive, particularly for North Bay. I would rate less than 1 star if possible. AVOID.

For $ 179.00 for 2 I feel ripped off . Service was good , atmosphere was pleasant . Sunday dinner and we were the only ones there . Food was not very good . Risotto was very runny ( watery) prime rib was tough and over cooked . Tasted like it was precooked, frozen and reheated my mashed potatoes were served drenched in butter . Not happy with that over priced cut of beef nor with any of it . I didnt finish it and was not offered a carryout option .. I wont be going back !

The food was very delicious and well presented. I had the rack of lamb which was juicy and paired nicely with the roasted potato and vegetables. The atmosphere is excellent and feels warm and relaxing. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the money. The only thing is that I think they could have is more wait-staff, but a very nice restaurant nevertheless.

I’ll start by saying that the service was excellent. The food however was not. The prime rib was chewy where it shouldn’t have been, and flavour was average, the Yorkshire pudding was the best item on the plate. We also ordered the “fries”. They sounded good on the menu, turned out to be essentially a box of McDonald’s fries with some cheese sprinkled over them and a couple of sides of dip for $9. The atmosphere is nice, but the food is well below average for the price point. If there where a Keg steakhouse in North Bay, Churchills would be out of business.

Main course pretty good, although slightly over priced by GTA standard. Salad absolutely atrocious. Charged double digit price for a Caesar salad that's basically half a head of romaine lettuce UNCHOPPED, olive oil (no other seasoning), and one eighth of a slice of white bread (the croutons). Strangely reminiscent of Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmare episode. Not sure if a waiter made it.

On the day of, she was with us every step of the way from queing us to walk in during the ceremony to changing over the room. All the staff were so amazing and accommodating and made the whole experience stress free and seamless allowing us to take in the moment and enjoy our day. The food was amazing and we were told by many it was one of the best weddings they had been to! Just had lunch today. Salad was wonderful and mushroom risotto was excellent. Dessert was fruit and cookies. Cookies were burnt on the bottom and the grapes and blueberries were way too soft, bordering on rotten. Server was good but was run off of her feet. Should have had two servers sincere there were three groups dining for lunch.

Amazing food and excellent service. You can get a great meal here and really enjoy the entire experience. They truly raise the bar for service in North Bay. The chef is truly talented!

I had a salad with three ingredients and they forgot one of them. They described the steak sandwich as a piece of sirloin, compared to the shaved prime rib sandwich. I chose the steak sandwich which was more like pieces of grizzle from someone's prime rib.

Five days before our event the manager called and stated we could no longer have the room we wanted and tried to shove the party into a little room in the front. Very disappointing. Lucky for us the fantastic people at Cecil's restaurant pulled through and helped us out.

I visited this establishment this past weekend and everything was perfect! The service staff went above and beyond for our table. The food was DELICIOUS and certainly worth every dollar spent. The couple we were with were vegan and celiac, and yet they had plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention how COVID concerned they are, with the amount of cleaning that goes into the restaurant. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Churchill's for your next evening out, it is worth the visit!!!

Had dinner here on a trip through North Bay. Was extremely impressed by our server. The food was fantastic. The craft beer and wine selection was very good. All four of us were exceptionally satisfied with our visit. I would highly recommend this pub to every one

Atmosphere, wine and service were nice. Meat was of good quality but nothing special (considering an upscale price). Plates were not warmed up for serving the meal and the sides were not really hot. Compared to other steak houses, this experience could not meet expectations.
