The food was amazing! So nice to have an authentic sushi option in the area. The whole family loved it (kids are 8 & 10). With COVID restrictions, Beyond Sushi has their pick up system down pat. It's not exactly curbside, but just in the vestibule & they even plastic-wrap the POS terminal for payments. Service was courteous and efficient. Be prepared to wait for your pick up time when ordering online though - they are slammed with orders at dinnertime & can't 'rush' something if you are trying to decide where to eat at the last minute. 10/10 will eat here again.

As far as Sushi goes in North Bay, this is my preferred. Always clean and prices are fair. Generic Sushi menu with a few personalized items. SPICY SALMON ROLLS!

Their lunch special is great, always amazing at sanitizing their payment equipment with every customer. The chinese food is always in my experience overfilled and brimming with food. Their sushi/chinese combo feeds 2 of us for 2 meals and is a great deal.

This is the same staff and menu options which Miyakoi Sushi had. They moved locations and changed the name but they still make the best Sushi in town. Remember as with most sushi places you can have the all you can eat sushi dinner menu anytime during the day. The lunch menus in general are more limited. If you ask for the dinner All you can eat, when it's not dinner time, you just pay more. I am surprised most people don't know this so please share. Long story short, if you liked Miyakoi Sushi, and missed them since they closed downtown, they are back. Enjoy!

Have been twice once for lunch and once for dinner! I can happily say that this is now my go to sushi place! It's conveniently located the selection is good and the restaurant is beautiful. The service is quick and polite and there's great care taken when making the sushi.

Negative: - The quality of the food wasn't the best I had, relatively to other sushi places.. but it was still good. I would say mid-range. Positive: - I was really surprised by the size of each pieces, I could barely manage to eat them in one bite. - The prices were really good relatively to the amount of food you get. Low prices can also explain the mid-range quality. - Customer service was good, place looked clean, quality packaging. Noteworthy: - Ratio of rice and other ingredients to proteins was pretty high. Might be good or bad depending on the person. - During this Covid-19 pendemic, the quality and freshness of the food has gone down in a lot of restaurants. It might be better usually. Honestly, I would rate it 3.5 stars.. but since it's not an option, I believe 4 is more suitable than 3. Reasonable prices, quality was consistent with said prices, impressive quantity. I would go back for sure, but if you're willing to pay more you can probably have much better sushi elsewhere. Thanks for the food!

Sushi is where it's at for this place. The other dishes are not authentic like other Chinese recipes. That's the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars. Moo goo gai pan for instance is filled with celery onion mushrooms and peppers, when the recipe should be broccoli and cauliflower. Be prepared for the big cheap 3 vegetables, celery, onions, and carrots. The chicken and other meats are very pasty with tapioca starch, another example of Japanese influence on Chinese classics.

This is my own experience about this place, I love sushi so my expectation is kinda high. I have tried many sushi places down south.The portions are nice but they are adding too much rice on their sushi, c’mon we want to enjoy the right combination of sushi not rice-shi. You can easily get fulled after 3-4 bites, its worst for AYE ppl.The last but not least is Take out option, I know that small business are suffering from the pandemic but this place and other sushi restaurant are only offering Takeout instead pf dining in, because of the huge profit they can make from take out orders?

I hate using the term “for North Bay” but... for sushi and other Asian foods, it’s good for North Bay. I would’ve gave a 4 star if I never received frost bit dim sum stuffs and everything the deep fried tempura veggies tasted like shrimp. If you need the sushi fix here it is for North Bay.

Food was excellent. Service was incredible. We had the all-you-can-eat option on a Sunday evening and the servers would often have our plates cleared before we were done chewing. It was a bit pricey because of the weekend, but I understand it depends on the day. A lunch buffet is also available and more affordable.

I have been here several times since they have opened, and even have a VIP card from their opening day. It is a great place for sushi. I have had sushi from North Bay all the way down to Niagara Falls, and this place has some of the best sushi around. It is always very clean, very nicely arranged, and incredibly tasty! A few times there have been problems with the rolls falling apart, or the actual sushi sushi not being made correctly and having the rice break in half or the topping fall off, but this is rare. The buffet was a great idea for lunch. The one downside to going here rather than the place down town is that their menu is smaller, but they are just getting started so I am sure they will start adding more menu items soon. *A note to the people managing the place: PLEASE play something other than constant Taylor Swift. For the love of god, literally anything else than constant Taylor Swift. I have eaten here around eight times now and they are ALWAYS playing Taylor Swift. Why?? It is a sushi restaurant, even if you don't want to play traditional Japanese music to give the place some atmosphere, change the damn soundtrack!

This isnt sushi. This is beyond sushi. It's called fusion sushi. A lot of items are not made the way they should be. If you want real sushi instead of American sushi go to jt sushi or aroydee. Price wise it's great. But for quality. Not worth it.

Excellent food. HORRIBLE service. I live 1.6 kms from this restaurant, as per their advertising thats a 6$ delivery charge.....they instead decided to squeeze me for an extra 2$ charging me the 8$ charge, for those 3-6km away. Delivering guy threw the debit machine at me instead of handing it to me. We were both wearing masks, and I sanitized my hands in front of him. Lastly, they delivered whatever food and beverages they wanted, not exactly what I ordered. Worst delivery service in about a year.

Favourite sushi+ restaurant in town. Delightful dim sum. The lobster balls are great. Sushi is good quality and portions are solid. Thr Miso soup is great, strong broth. I love this place. They also stayed open during all of covid via pickup-only keeping it a consistent option.

Went to this new sushi place the week it opened for AYCE dinner. The restaurant is not too big and well decorated. I like the iPad menu so that you can see exactly what you’re ordering and keep track. The menu is a basic sushi restaurant with nothing out of the ordinary. They carry low sodium and gluten free soy sauce. One thing that surprised me is that they didn’t have deep fried bananas or ice cream! They have melona bars (Popsicle bars?) instead.
