The food is on and off. The wait when busy is horrid. Lightly toasted bun pictured of the otherwise great crispy chicken In response to the owner. Burning a bun is ok, happens. Serving a burned bun is not ok. That shouldn't happen. Especially if you own the place and care for the reputation. Stay away from the chicken, it's good :)

I have been going to this place for years, however; this past Saturday I was passing through and decided to fuel up. There was some issue with the pump, so I buzzed the cashier "Patti" to please rest the pump. She then was irritated and told me to hang up the pump (which I did). I then told her I had hung it up and she then said no you didnt, so I lifted the pump and rehung it up. She then was loud and started saying "look I cant do anything until you hang up the pump", I let her know I did hang it up. I then decided to walk inside to figure out what was going on, when I walked in "Patti" turns to me before I said anything and in a loud angry voice said look you need to hang up the pump before I can reset" I then said "I did hang it up" and when I was going to let her know I even reset it Patti cut me off and in a loud voice yells out "no, you didnt" and then proceeds to yell and in a sarcastic voice "Sir, sorry your having a bad day, but you obviously didnt!!!!. I was quite taken and embarked, so I turned to walk out, but before I left I asked for the Managers name, Patti replied and then said while laughing, "go ahead and call him, he loves talking to people like you". I then left, and fueled up down the road at the new gas station "Oops" (great service, no problems with the pumps). I'm not going to slander the business, but in all my years I have never had anyone so disrespectful especially in the service industry. I will not return to this place again. BTW I was coming back down the north highway in a great mood, it was a perfect day until I pulled in. To "Patti, sorry you were having a bad day".

I used the shower facilities this morning and was very pleased and it was reasonable! It was simple yet clean with great updated shower head(moen). Ahmil was very friendly and offered to make a fresh pot of coffee for me as this was just after 5am when I finished up. I will definetely be back.

First time here and what can I say? It's a truck stop not a gourmet restaurant for all those that are complaining about the food. I had dinner here and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend the spaghetti and meat sauce dish. It was served hot with no complaints and server was polite. Parking lot is large and you can get parking I'm assuming anytime but it does need some grading work done. But again, it's a truck stop so what did you expect? If you're worried about spilling your coffee driving through the lot, than go elsewhere. Overall, very satisfying and the fact that the owner personally responds to almost all reviews speaks for itself. Shows they take pride in their establishment. Will definitely come back again when I'm back up this way.

Was just here getting fuel for my semi truck. Went in to get a sandwich, as most Petro Pass locations have a half decent selection of fresh made subs. Not only did they have nothing but macaroni salad tuna salad sandwiches only, all they had was microwave hamburgers. Then when I called and asked to speak to the manager I get told he's not in and then hung up on. I will promptly be informing everyone I know and everyone I work with to stop doing business with this location. This is a piss poor example of a truck stop, a real truck stop would actually keep Affair selection of fresh made items for people who don't have time to sit down and have a meal not just have two kinds of sandwiches and microwave hamburgers and tell you if you don't like it oh well. So now I get to drive hungry the rest of the night until I go to bed thank you bay truck stop for treating a guy who's been using your truck stop making thousand dollar purchases feel like a piece of dirt. *** to the owner's response. My phone automatically record any and all phone calls. So I have a recording of her saying they're sandwiches there I don't know what the problem is. She also made no attempt to inform me of that service nor were there any signs for that service that I noticed. As this may just seen an issue of a sandwich to you, it's a bit more to myself, and people like myself. It's becoming an Ever more present issue that truck stops today seem to not want to actually have on the go ready and accessible fresh food of varying variety. Most locations like what I experienced no more than an hour ago have the attitude of you either like what we're offering you or eat junk food. As people like myself are always on a schedule and can't afford to sit down and eat every time we get hungry. You need not worry about me, I've been dealing with issues like this with truck stops for quite a while now. I feel more sorry for you not having people more vocal about the issues that they're encountering. The near empty sandwich cooler and the poor customer service over the phone is something I won't be forgetting. It's small things like this that eventually lead up to private establishment being beaten out by franchises. As a business owner myself I can only assume you would understand.

Don't even bother. If you've got time left on your book, stop somewhere else. You're not allowed in unless you douse with hand sanitizer. Even if you're allergic and are heading straight to the bathroom to wash your hands.

Had dinner there tonight. Waitress didn't seem to know what she was doing- never even told us the specials after ignoring us for ten minutes when we sat down. Food took forever and it wasn't that busy. Poor guy across from us was ignored for 15 minutes. Different waitress brought our food and at least she checked on us eventually... had to ask twice for to go containers and then hunt down the waitress for the bill. For 30 bucks - next time we will drive into town and have a proper meal...

I heard a radio commercial advertising the great fish and chips Friday "special" and wanted to try it....... . I convinced my husband to eat there against his better judgement. It was terrible. The fish was not a filet dipped in fresh batter then deep fried, it was in a hard dry batter and the fish looked like a machine had chopped it up into fish mush. It was tasteless ????. The French fries were not fresh cut. My poor hubby had to eat the most greasy meatloaf covered in a salty gravy. The potatoes were dehydrated and reconstituted, no flavour save the copious amounts of dark brown salt laden goo. #nevergonnatryitagain

Joke of a truck stop. Restaurant closed 7pm on a Saturday! The kid from the store said it might be open tomorrow morning at 11:00. But he could not say for sure, as the restaurant hours a constantly changing. How do you think truckers can support a business like this? I thought the restaurant at a truck stop would be trying to take care of the truckers? The lot is full of trucks, and I’ve seen many people walking in the rain to the locked doors and turn around and walk all the way back to the truck. Work a full day and try to get a hot meal!! Hahaha. Not at this place, never again!!!!
