Went there on a hot day with a man I love. So of course it tasted great. But went there on my own while it was raining recently and it still holds up. Great Gelato and great service even when it's busy.

Delicious gelato (that is only very slightly overpriced for the quantity you get) a nice selection of flavours, and friendly service. Best Gelato place in Niagara!! Real Italian Gelato! They use pure ingredients without any artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives. They import all the nuts from Italy and you can taste the difference! You can have also coffee, paninis (Italian sandwiches) and bakery products. You can find some gluten free, vegan and sugar free options!

We've been coming here since we enjoyed a wonderful stay at Carlotta's and Kash's B&B years ago! The gelato is top quality, the servers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are what you'd expect to pay for such a wonderful experience! There are several ice cream and gelato places - this is THE best!!

I love gelato di Carlotta I think it's one of the best Gelato in Ontario I have had many many gelato in Italy and gelato di Carlotta Is the closest to the Italian treat. Soft and delicious. I usually go to Vaughan Mills or fallsview but decided to go where it's made. THE BEST ONLY GELATO TO HAVE IN THE AREA TRUST ME Here is gianduia hazelnut with gianduia sauce.

The best Gelato I've ever had in North America!!!!! Why?! Simple: FRESH + The right amount of sweetness + Natural/real taste of different flavours + Quality assured AND The staff are all beautiful souls ! I couldn't get enough of my first order so I had to return again on the same day to order more before heading back to Toronto! BDW, they have delivery to Toronto ! A MUST GELATO!

Wow, such good gelato flavours and consistency. Just amazing. This place stands out, even in NOTL. Highly recommend gianduia for chocolate lovers. The servers told us they also have locations in Niagara Falls and Florence, Italy.

It is a pleasure to go to this store, the staff is friendly and always smiling, great variety of Italian Gelatto throughout the year. The prosciutto and mozzarella panini sandwiches are always fresh and tasty, and the hot chocolate with a hint of cinnamon is my favorite in winter. So yummy everything!!

Great place to grab an espresso and gelato and watch the crowd goes by in a rainy fall/winter backdrop. The pistachio gelato is a must try and the cafe has a very warm welcoming atmosphere.

Was wandering through the usual NOTL strip when my family and I happened upon Carlotta's. What a find! We tried both the lemon and strawberry gelato - fairly priced and the perfect treat on a hot day! We will definitely be back for more! Wow, their mint ice cream tasted incredible! I would like to come back soon and try the pistachio one. I would like to try their tiramisu, it looked awesome, but I was too full after lunch that day :( If they want to provide a 5 ???? experience they should have to improve the customer service, the two guys there were a little bit rude to us.

Fantastic!! Delicious flavours and loved that they had so many options for people with dietary restrictions. Very friendly and informative staff working there. I’ve tried all three gelato / ice cream places within this block and this was by far the best! Never waiting in the Cows line up for 45 minutes again lol

We enjoyed the lemon and cookie gelato in their little patio space and they were delicious. The lemon was so light and creamy. It's pricey for ice cream but worth it. The coffee was great too!

On the several times I passed by during a trip to Niagara, the line outside was very long. Once you taste the gelato you'll understand why. This is Italy quality gelato, not ice cream sold under the guise of being such. The gauge is the quality of the banana and pistachio, which I tried during my visit. I also tried Dolce Carlotta, which I assume is the signature flavor. All the flavors were delicious and are clearly made by people who know their stuff. I would absolutely recommend coming here if you're in the Niagara area. It's worth the drive, line, and wait.

Decided to check out their Gelato after seeing multiple reviews raving about it and boy am I glad I got to try it. I tried their Gianduia and Coffee flavours while my friend tried their Mango and Strawberry flavours. The high quality is so obvious in your first bite. They’ve got two locations within downtown NOTL and I highly recommend everyone to try their gelato.

We drove 2 hrs just to explore this Gelato place! They have some refreshing summer flavors like Alphonso Mango, Peach, Pineapple that are really ???? and some awesome traditional Italian flavors such as Tiramisu, Gianduia, Stracciatella, Dolce Carlotta The experience was exceptional ???? Customer Service excellent ???? Service -with a smile ???? Will definitely be going again!

The best gelato I’ve had since Italy! I would even say it is the closest comparison to the gelato in Italy. We tried the chocolate, dark chocolate, mango and gianduia flavours and my favourite was the dark chocolate. It was just the perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness. I did not step into the establishment myself due to the covid restrictions. The limit was 2 people at a time or 1 group at a time. Overall great flavours and I would definitely recommend a visit if you are exploring NOTL.

Quaint gelato shop with small outdoor seating area. Did not try the gelato but found the coffee to be a but weak. Coffee is served from an automatic Jura machine. Which is not an issue but would prefer a bolder coffee flavour.

Such a cute gelato shop in the heart of downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake! The gentleman at the shop was super friendly. My friend and I tried different flavours, all which were superb. We tried a fruity cup with mango and strawberry gelato and a chocolatey one with hazelnut and coffee gelato. They also have other desserts apart from gelato that look very delicious. This shop is definitely a must try within the city. Highly recommend!

If you have ever gone to Niagara on the Lake during the summer you are likely to do two things. One .. visit the Christmas Store...and Two.. eat some sort of ice product..usually ice cream. There are a couple places on the main street of Niagara on the lake but the day we went it was packed and there was a crazy long lineup. FOR ICE CREAM ... pass ! However we discovered a small Gelato shop off the main street on KING Street... Google says its on Queen Street but it is now located on King near Balzacs Coffee. There was zero line up. Also a limited selection of gelato flavours... Pistacchio, Strawberry, Mango, Lemon, Chocolate and Hazelnut. We tried pistacchio and it was just sweet enough . It did taste a bit like walnut to be honest but it was still quite nice. Maybe we got the hazelnut by accident.. Regardless it was very good quality. Small cup is $3.99 and they were giving away a 10% off coupon. Small shop but nice enough and obviously the quality was home made and small batches. We med the owner Fillipo who is clearly Italian through and through. Great guy. Highly recommended if you prefer a better quality product .. You'll pay for it but for two people the small cup is adequate.

First time visiting here, got a panini and it was honestly one of the best things I have ever tasted! The quality and freshness of the bread was unreal! Paired with salami and cream cheese and it was the best! 5 stars!!!!

This is the best gelato we’ve had outside of Italy. This guy knows what he’s doing. If I close my eyes, I could swear I’m eating gelato in a little piazza in Rome. Amazing!

Il Gelato di Carlotta is a hidden gem! My boyfriend and I have made it our new staple in Niagara-on-the-lake. From the savoury cannoli's, gelato cakes and cafe, coupled with the warm hospitality from Marco- it's truly one of the few places that makes me feel like I'm back in Italy!
