We order the classic grill cheese and tomato soup. What a surprise! The quality of food and taste are definitely one of the best in New West and surrounding area. As for coffee, the owner definitely has a great taste bud . They offer lots different kind of coffee bean that rare to find in GVA. And they are all delightful!! We will come back to this little gem again and again！

Nice cafe by the Quay Hotel in New Westminster. Tried the tomato soap, the tomato and avocado grilled cheese sandwich and a cappuccino and all were very good. They also sell a variety of different coffees, chocolate and other items. I'd recommend checking it out if your in New Westminster in the Quay area for it's a nice cafe with friendly staff.

Yay for amazing coffee from Canada and award winning international roasters now being carried in New West Quay by Craft Cafe. The owners are highly passionate aficionados of great coffee and the equipment used to brew it. They carry or can bring in everything from Hario to Goat pour over setups, the sexy Fellow Kettles, or the Porsche of the coffee machines the Technivorm Moccamaster. Taryn knows her stuff, showing me some of the cool gadgets I haven’t even heard of. They are an interesting place for stationary and crafts I believe, but I go here for the coffee and related merch ????

I’m a fan of this cute little cafe! The outdoors is very nice to get some sun but the indoors is super cozy! I usually have their iced mocha and the chickpeas sandwich! The space is clean and they’re environment friendly! The staff is great to talk to and they seem to enjoy their work :)

First Visit, long line ups which is often a positive sign. The menu board is horrible, it is right at the orderdesk, goes up from the floor say 2 feet high, the print is very small. One has to bend over to read it. Idea: Print it on paper so people when they are in the line up can peruse the menu. I just ordered something what I could read as not to hold up the line. I am a senior + so sorry do not carry a smart phone, my smarts are in my head.

Have been here a few times in the last few months for takeaway drinks and food. The Mexican Hot Chocolate is phenomenal! Really gave me some Mexico City vibes. Also, the Grilled Cheese is great on a cold, crisp, winter/fall type-day. Their whiskey and bourbon selection on-display puts some bars in Vancouver to shame too, to be honest...overall, good vibes, atmosphere, products, and friendly and efficient staff!

Stopped in to try one of their famous grilled cheese sandwich selections. They all looked very appealing so I decided on the Seafood Lobster Grilled Cheese. Two cheese combo with healthy amounts of fresh seafood. Large sandwich with fresh good ingredients. Can't wait to try the other grilled cheese selections.

LOVE this coffee shop! My husband and I came here twice. We tried their latte and hot chocolate (dark chocolate) the first time. We just loved them so much especially the dark hot chocolate. We had tried hot chocolate from Thomas Haas many times. Finally we have found one coffee shop (this Craft Cafe) that can beat or can be competitive with Thomas Haas!!! Craft Cafe’s hot chocolate tastes sooooo good that it is very smooth, thick and full of texture. The sweetness is exactly when we love. After visiting Craft Cafe once, we decided to come back here to try their breakfast and coffee. We ordered their sausage roll, drip coffee (Brazil coffee beans), signature breakfast (which had two eggs, waffle, sausage, bacon, potatoes, a strawberry and some avocado) and dark hot chocolate (again!!! ????). We were so happy and satisfied with the breakfast abs beverages. A barista was very nice that she made two small cups of drip coffee for us to try (Mexican coffee beans). We liked the Brazilian ones more. But we just enjoyed our time having breakfast and coffee here. The pricing was reasonable. Customer service was great. The coffee shop is full of different types of special coffee beans and tea that you can’t really find them elsewhere. It’s a bit of difficult to look for parking spots. We paid parking in a parking lot with Safeway, Cinema, Shopper drugs Mart and etc. There are some retail parking installs in front of the cafe, but still need to pay for parking. Would I come back again?! Yes!! But maybe I will take skytrain to come here, so it’s more convenient that I don’t have to worry about finding parking.

They messed up our order 3 times in a row and forgot our order was to go on the final time so had to put everything into Togo boxes after waiting 45 minutes for a simple order in the morning before any rush. We ordered 2 sandwiches and a soup that is all. Awful never again to come here wasn't offered any compensation either.

I used to go there often and always supported local businesses, but from now on Dec 14,2021 I will never spend a penny for businesses who support discrimination and segregation. I was not allowed to seat there for a cup of coffee and cake without fu... proof of facsination. While they possessed my order I went to their washroom to fought my tears back. Segregation and discrimination starts from individuals who don't see and don't want to see politicians intent. Here we are now... and I don't care if businesses like that shuts off. We can leave without you, but you will not survive without us!

I've been following Craft since they were a small shop at the Quay market. Since they moved I'm so happy to see that their business is booming. It's such a solid location for them and there's always great traffic. There's an abundant of food choices, a great selection of coffee gear and rotating beans. There's also a roomy patio set up I would say the thing I hope they can improve is coffee quality consistency. The coffee that the owner makes is fantastic. Nicely done foam with a good espresso and milk ratio. Today I grabbed a cappuccino that an employee made and it was lacking the espresso factor. Maybe they switched out the bean but it tasted more milk than the usual.

Be wary of their vegan red lentil shepherd's pie. Friend brought this back for me and insisted I'd be fine with my shellfish allergy as they said it's definitely vegan. I took a few bites and instantly felt a reaction. They do serve a lot of lobster dishes so I called them to inquire about potential cross contamination and was informed they use one cutting board and it definitely could have been in contact with shellfish. Allergies are obviously the worst case here, and I normally won't eat anything from spots that offer shellfish just out of sheer caution, but thought it would have to be pre-packaged to be considered vegan in this type of kitchen.

This place is dope, love it! From the outside, it looks like your average coffee house but then you discover how super cute inside it is. Fantastic, modern, minimalistic and relaxed decor with a chilled out vibe. They also have plenty of great seating outside by the Waterfront in the sunshine. I mainly love how environmentally cautious they are by supplying wheat straws and recyclable cups for takeout. They also have Soy, Almond and Coconut milk for plant-based alternatives and a very vegan/vegetarian friendly joint. We got a couple of Iced Americanos and. Cranberry and Oatmeal Cookie which were both super yummy. Great value for money, extremely friendly staff and a great joint. Most definetely going again! Support local!

Very very covid safe. Loved how they clean the ATM touchpad right before I used it. Nice menu of usual and unique stuff. I ordered OMG which was a special drink and they did a great job with making it pretty. So no pic since hard to drink with a dog and wearing mask and take pic. I can see why this place is popular. Favorite place to hunker down for a few hours and get work done in New West. Great environment. Love that there’s food available because it’s super convenient. Also a lot of comfort food, which I appreciate. Personally think the drip coffee could be better. BUT their espresso drinks were good. My fave so far is the buffalo chicken grilled cheese ???? My original review was 5 stars, but I've had to cut them down for service. Called in my order, was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. They hadn't even started it by the time I showed up. Give more realistic timelines please, I have a schedule to keep. If it's going to be 20, say 20... I don't mind. Just be honest. I can't wait around in your store. Want your last star back? Have my order ready when you say it's going to be.

Terrible service. Girl at the counter was rude. Saw them discriminate a person who had mental illness. This us unacceptable. The coffee isn't even that great and their prices are higher than Starbucks. You've definitely lost me as a client. I'd give zero stars if I could. Very disappointing.

This is the closest coffee shop to me on the quay. I love it! The avocado breakfast muffin is my go to for food and I usually switch up the coffee and have enjoyed them all. Staff is great. They’ve really rolled with the Covid punches and are continually evolving as needed. Please don’t hesitate to make your way there, you won’t regret it.

Hands down the best coffee shop in New Westminster. These guys take their beans seriously. If you’re lucky enough to come in when it’s less busy, you might hear all about their coffee origin, preparation, flavour profiles, etc. I also recommend all of their breakfast sandwiches. They always use the highest quality ingredients in all of their products.

Located by the Quay Market in New Westminster, British Columbia. This is a wonderful place, highly organized. The customer service here is fantastic. The ladies who work here go above and beyond to assist the customers to have the best experience in their café. The coffee as well as the chicken rolls are absolutely delicious. There are tables available to eat in or your choice to take it with you. The place is very well kept; clean and organized in compliance with the British Columbia health guidelines. Pay Parking is available under ground. Accessible wheelchair parking under ground - pay parking - There are several stairs to walk up from the parking area. It seems as there is an elevator, however I was not able to locate it. Shop local.

What a cute and cozy place! Service was so good: we ordered a pourover and asked the barista to choose something she liked that was light and fruity. Halfway through our (deliciously brewed) coffee, she came up to our table and gave us a large sample pourover from a different roaster because she felt that we would enjoy it even more. The new brew was bursting with raspberry fruitiness and was such a nice surprise. All this to say, the people at Craft Coffee clearly care about their coffee and giving customers a great experience. We'll be back again to try their food!

What a gem of a cafe! We were at the quay to have coffee and breakfast and weren't sure what to expect during this pandemic. We tried the classic breakfast ($9): 2 free run eggs, 2 slices of rye bread, a good serving of mashed roast potatoes, and 2 Turkey sausages. Added cups of cappuccinos. OMG, what a brunch. Everything tasted delicious and homemade. We will be visiting every weekend until we've tried most everything. The grilled sandwiches looked like a hit! They're next.

I’m so happy New West has a café on the Quay and the Craft Café is my new favourite. Their lattes are the best I’ve had in the city (including Van) and that includes my other all time favourite café Beaucoup (which is revered for its quality coffee). The only thing I could have complained about was their hours were short and they weren’t open on mondays but I believe they recently extended their hours and opening days so now I can visit them more often! The service is also the best I’ve experienced in the city, they are so friendly and attentive and saying goodbye to you as you leave is a nice touch. The Craft Café is worth a visit and If you do I’m sure it will become your favourite too.

A surprise find within New West Quay area. Cozy and inviting space. We could sense the care from the people who served us throughout our stay at the cafe. Coffee was great - one of the best pour over coffee I ever had anywhere. Food items were satisfying as well. From the product to service, it was a "complete" experience. Best cafe in new west! They have a beautiful space, and they are very knowledgeable about their coffee. They carry coffee you normally wouldn’t find in the lower mainland. They also use sugarcane straws! Way better than those paper straws most cafes are using now. Definitely would recommend their pourovers and mochas, they use real chocolate from Thomas Haas.

It was our first time coming here and we noticed that the staff are quite welcoming and friendly atmosphere, great customer service, and great drinks and food on top of that! I used to love this cafe but after today I don't plan to return. My friend ordered an iced mocha and the barista gave us a hot mocha instead. When my friend corrected her order, they brought us a lukewarm coffee with no ice in it - clearly they just added ice to cool it down. When I told her that it was lukewarm, she said they weren't going to make a new one and just added ice, but it was not good. They did not apologize for the error when I was clearly unhappy with the drink. The server brushed me off and dismissed me, which I felt was quite rude and we left unhappy.

We waited 35min for a latte, location wasn't very busy (only a few people ahead of us and two after us in the 35 min we waited.) That said, it was probably one of the best made coffees I've had in New West. The staff was apologetic when we inquired after 25min, and offered us a coupon to rectify the situation. You can tell they really care about their food and the quality. I hope they work out the work flow issues as I'd love to become a regular.

What an absolute gem! Craft Cafe is proof that you can have a business with a genuinely warm and friendly staff that deliver products made from high quality ingredients while at the same time leaving you feel like you're paying for and receiving great value for your money. Their iced mocha is by far the best that I've ever had and my son absolutely loves their Italian sodas (he rates the peach one 9.5 out of 10 and he's a pretty hard marker!). Combine all of this with the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of the New West waterfront and it makes for such a pleasant experience. So much so, that I'm happy to drive here from Port Coquitlam because it's so worth it. A bonus is that there seems to be a really good amount of pay parking available right out front each time we've been so far. Simply outstanding!

You have to try the French toast breakfast sandwiches. Such a great brunch item. Update: they're selling beans from harken which is awesome. If I may I would like to suggest a couple of improvements: 1: The music is too loud especially at the tables right at the TV speaker 2: remove the flower and vase as people need the space 3: very little selection of pastry and this is an easy fix I hope your cafe is a success as the location is perfect for us.
