Chill atmosphere, great service, and wonderful coffee. I spent three days in uptown St. John and this quickly became my coffee go to. Prices are very reasonable with a good selection of organic standard and specialty brews. If you are uptown looking for a good cup of coffee, make sure to check it out!

Guess what! Y’all have lost a customer ! Arrived at your location Sunday Aug 29th to be greated to your very lovely LOCKED DOORS! No signage on building, no posts on website or social media! Not even hours of operation anywhere. I now have to go buy keurig pods at a grocery store so I’m not without coffee for the week.

Grabbed coffee and a breakfast cookie. Headed out of town and bit into the baked good, tasted extremely stale, inedible. Ask when the baking has been made before ordering.

Ordered a hot chocolate and nutella mocha for the road, unfortunately both tasted terrible. The hot chocolate tasted like dish water. Neither were drank. It was unfortunate because the day before we had an excellent experience at the market Java Moose.

Java Moose's peanut butter brownies are unmatched as the sweet version of hybrid snack/lunch. My weekly routine of picking one up with some k-cups, a cold brew and enough ground coffee to cold brew my own has been therapeutic to say the least.

Possibly the worst almond milk latte I have ever had. Some regular steamed almond milk with espresso that quickly just turned into coffee with a lot of almond milk poured in. Why offer this on your menu if you cannot make one that is even just satisfactory? Not coming here again.

Some of the best coffee in Atlantic Canada, hands down. They know how to hire wonderful staff and it's always a pleasure to interact with whomever is working at any time. Their bulk coffee is an excellent value and you can have the beans ground in store at no extra charge. If you are a dog-owner, you're welcome to bring your furry friend into their Prince William Street location, which automatically makes them a winner in my books. Their uptown locations offer a cozy and trendy place to enjoy some solitude or connect with friends, and their McAllister Mall location is very convenient when you're on the go. If you haven't tried Java Moose, definitely stop in. They have something for every coffee lover, carrying light, medium, and dark roasts. Foghorn is a classic.

Terrible coffee, infested with mice. Sat there for 20 minutes and seen 3 mice in the time I was there. Disgusting. Brought it up to the woman working and she said yeah I know, and brushed it off. Food tasted stale and like it's been in the freezer for months, so hard and stale. Never will this place see my money again. Just cause it's local, dosent mean it can be disgusting. Eww..... Highly NOT recommended.

It might have just been the worst coffee shop made lemonade I've ever had; the same went for my fiancé's "frosted iced tea". It reminded me of a cheap convenience store drink and appeared to come from a similar container. The atmosphere of the coffee shop itself was cheesy and physically dingey. It will assuredly be my first and last Java Moose experience.
